Everything is great check in to check out. Not my first stay, they had extra Dog towels already in the room for my service dog. ALL staff is friendly and happy. They even have board games to play if you forget to bring one. The Spa is amazing it is my selling point. Sauna and steamroom are very nice temperature nice and hot.

Loved that it is oceanfront and all the rooms face the ocean. Jacuzzi in room with ocean view. Fireplace in room also. Spa on site ! Included with stay. Steam room. Sauna. Heated pool has oceanfront view ! Hot tub fabulous ! No chlorine smell !!! Facial and massage are available for $$$. They were well worth the $$$ Staff were all courteous and fab breakfast included every morning. This place gave me a reset for my soul and body. Oh and right on the 401 hiking trail too!!

This is a fantastic property in a darling community. Our room had a balcony that opened to the beach. What a view! The spa access to the sauna, steam room and two heated sitting pools with a gigantic picture window.

We had an amazing two night stay. We had fun walking around by the water. We also went into Yachats to shop and eat at the Drift Inn and that was excellent. The hotel has an excellent spa and I had an amazing massage there. They have a nice gift shop and sell wine. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not good, bad, in fact, if you want a hot breakfast. The fruit and toast was fine. You’re better off going to the Drift Inn if you want something hot.

Very nice and clean place. The pool, hot tub, massage, and sauna, are very nice and is a reason we booked; however, those were closed on two of the days we stayed there (might be due to the spring hours... not sure). Breakfast is served cafeteria style only. The plus is the view of the ocean, however, and the beach is excellent.

The property is right on the ocean and the property is nice. The hotel is very old, guessing it was built in 1950’s, but has been remodeled so it wasnt too bad. They only do house keeping if you stay for 5 or more days and they only clean once. So eqch night we had to go to the front desk for clean glasses and/or towels. The breakfast is terrible they serve it to you and you have to reserve a time the day before and you must be there within 15 min of your reservation! If I am on vacation, the last thing that I want is to schedule breakfast! There is really only 1 option for breafast, such as spinach and mushroom soufflé tgat was very over cookedNo screen in the window, no air conditioning, the patio door was broke. There was mold on the tub.

Overleaf was a great stay in Yachats. Room was large, clean and the ocean views are incredible. Easy trails that are right outside the hotel go as far as you can walk. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a fantastic stay.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful. There is a trail right outside the door where you could walk and see all of the flowers and the ocean. We left our grandsons blanket and they called us right away and said they'd mail it to us.

My parents loved this property for their anniversary trip. The layout of the rooms were spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel in general was very clean and esthetically pleasing. They only wish there was better access down to the water with more area to walk on the sand, but the hotel location for the ocean view was very nice.

I had been planning this anniversary trip for some time, carefully researching hotels in the area. Initially, we considered staying at The Adobe, but after reading multiple reviews about cleanliness concerns, we decided against it. That’s when we discovered the Overleaf Lodge. Guest satisfaction seemed to be very high, and the amenities were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We were excited upon arrival, as the hotel was beautiful and well-appointed. Prior to our reservation, I requested a higher-floor room, but unfortunately, I was informed that this request could not be accommodated. While I was disappointed, we were still eager to enjoy our stay. However, starting around 7 PM, we began to hear significant noise coming from the room above us. At first, we didn’t think much of it, but when the noise persisted past 9 PM, we called the front desk. A staff member, whose name I believe was Sheila or Shayla, answered and assured us that she would address the issue. When the noise continued, I came down in person around 10 PM to report the disturbance again. Unfortunately, the noise persisted throughout the night. By morning, I was completely exhausted from the lack of sleep. At 9:45 AM, I spoke to a front desk agent, who informed me that she would contact you, Heather, as you were on the phone at the time. She also noted that I looked visibly tired and offered to extend our stay, but we were on a tight schedule and had to leave.

The hotel felt more like a luxury resort. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the lobby. The room was updated and larger than expected. The view from our patio was spectacular!

This might be the best hotel on the Oregon Coast. We stayed one night in a regular room and one night in a suite. They both had great ocean views. The suite had a jetted tub where you could look out and see the ocean and a gas fireplace. The only thing I find odd is that the partly is like it's partly hotel and partly motel, in that some rooms only have access from outside. It's a little problem and once you're in your room, it feels like a proper hotel.

Room was large and was clean with a simply incredible view. We had a first floor room and could walk right out to the coastline and trails. Our room had a patio with chairs to watch the sunset. We got wine and cheese and just enjoyed the evening. Bring a jacket , its the coast and gets windy but that just makes to view of the rough seas better.

Check-in and the minutes immediately following aa we got to our room were abysmal due to deplorable customer service. I’m sure this tainted my feeling about the place for the rest of the stay. VERY thin walls. We could hear our neighbors speaking and they were not loud. We were given a choice of 7:30 or 10:00 for breakfast reservations because they want to avoid ‘a run’ all at one time. We were the only ones at 10 and there wasn’t any regular coffee. Check out was a highlight, though, the woman at the counter was extremely personable and friendly. I don’t understand the high rating for this motel. It has a beautiful view and one nice employee at the front desk. Neither of those things are enough to warrant its recommendation.

From the moment we were greeted upon arrival until we checked out after breakfast two days later, our stay was wonderful! The person at the front desk shared local places to check out, restaurants, etc. She even drew us maps for directions known mostly by locals 😊. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good and well organized. It offered several healthy options. The ladies that coordinate the buffet were fantastic!

I had been planning this anniversary trip for some time, carefully researching hotels in the area. Initially, we considered staying at The Adobe, but after reading multiple reviews about cleanliness concerns, we decided against it. That’s when we discovered the Overleaf Lodge. Guest satisfaction seemed to be very high, and the amenities were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We were excited upon arrival, as the hotel was beautiful and well-appointed. Prior to our reservation, I requested a higher-floor room, but unfortunately, I was informed that this request could not be accommodated. While I was disappointed, we were still eager to enjoy our stay. However, starting around 7 PM, we began to hear significant noise coming from the room above us. At first, we didn’t think much of it, but when the noise persisted past 9 PM, we called the front desk. A staff member, whose name I believe was Sheila or Shayla, answered and assured us that she would address the issue. When the noise continued, I came down in person around 10 PM to report the disturbance again. Unfortunately, the noise persisted throughout the night. By morning, I was completely exhausted from the lack of sleep. At 9:45 AM, I spoke to a front desk agent, who informed me that she would contact you, Heather, as you were on the phone at the time. She also noted that I looked visibly tired and offered to extend our stay, but we were on a tight schedule and had to leave.

Check-in and the minutes immediately following aa we got to our room were abysmal due to deplorable customer service. I’m sure this tainted my feeling about the place for the rest of the stay. VERY thin walls. We could hear our neighbors speaking and they were not loud. We were given a choice of 7:30 or 10:00 for breakfast reservations because they want to avoid ‘a run’ all at one time. We were the only ones at 10 and there wasn’t any regular coffee. Check out was a highlight, though, the woman at the counter was extremely personable and friendly. I don’t understand the high rating for this motel. It has a beautiful view and one nice employee at the front desk. Neither of those things are enough to warrant its recommendation.

Everything about the Overleaf was outstanding! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room luxurious and comfortable, and the location outstanding. The views are phenomenal, the walking path easy to access, and grounds gorgeous. Will absolutely be back again

Very nice property with ocean views. Comfortable bed and nice room layout with sink in the back near the door, with a fridge and coffee marker. Light from this area does not blare into the room should your partner be sleeping. Extra points for toilet and shower in a separate room. Nicer breakfast than most hotels, but we went late and everything was cold (pancakes etc). Far from town and not really walkable to restaurants. One can be reached via the walking trail by the ocean, but if rainy or strong winds this could be tricky for some. Overall beautiful views and nice display of Oregon products in the lobby, including many local wines. I would return to this hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with stunning views of the Pacific. Did ourselves a favor and booked a room with a “whale watcher” window. The sunset over the a Pacific was magnificent. Very close to all of the downtown dining options. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely spacious room with terrific ocean views. Breakfast was disappointing, cafeteria-style and not the best quality. It was off-season, so might be better when the property is busier.

Amazing view and a great stay! Loved being able to use the spa facilities included in the room rate. Breakfast was very good each morning and we enjoyed the free wine tastings as well.

The property and room were absolutely amazing. The lobby closed before we arrived but the staff was very accommodating and left clear instructions about where to find the lockbox for our key for the night. The view from the room was beautiful and the room itself had tons of space with a patio to sit on and watch the ocean. The next morning we had the continental breakfast which wasn’t great. The coffee was very good but most of the food was bland/lukewarm even though we had one of the earlier breakfast times. It was also advertised as a “buffet” when really you got once chance to be served and that was it. Overall everything else was amazing and definitely worth the stay but maybe skip breakfast and find somewhere in town to eat.

What a gem. Beautiful location right on the coast. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the surf and the sunset. Excellent breakfast with homemade egg dishes and granola. Very friendly staff who love to share their passion for the area.

We had an amazing two night stay. We had fun walking around by the water. We also went into Yachats to shop and eat at the Drift Inn and that was excellent. The hotel has an excellent spa and I had an amazing massage there. They have a nice gift shop and sell wine. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not good, bad, in fact, if you want a hot breakfast. The fruit and toast was fine. You’re better off going to the Drift Inn if you want something hot.

After multiple visits I found the same superior room. The spa was lovely and all areas well kept. My one disappointment was the breakfast. Precovid choices were well above par. Now the service and food quality were sad and disappointing. Eggs consistently rubbery, potato choices we cold and tough. Fruit and yogurt were similar but the pastry choices were unworthy of the establishment. Not wag at I remembered at all. I’ve had better breakfasts at motel 6s!

Stayed here for one night driving the PCH from SF to Seattle. Nice room with a small patio overlooking the ocean, and plenty of space and seating inside the room too. Used the spa on arrival (but no treatments), simple but clean tubs to relax in, and an excellent sauna and steam room too. We had a ground floor room, which perhaps lost a little in views of the sea, but was a great place to sit out, and really easy access to walking and getting out on the rocks and beaches, so it turned out to be the right room for us.
