The staff made my stay - Dillon and Serge were wonderful - they remembered my coffee order each morning, were so welcoming to my dogs and nothing was too much trouble. There is a beautiful courtyard for breakfast that is super dog friendly.

Would have been 5 stars but lack of wardrobes or even drawers meant we were living for 7 nights out of suitcases on the floor. This was an upgraded room also. Had to use the balcony to store clothing. Location excellent, staff great, nibbles out at 5 30.

Likes: The property was easy to find, clean, suitably appointed rooms, and was in a good area with plenty of dining options around. Dislikes: We had asked about parking options at the time of reservation and were advised there are provisions for $49/day which we were happy to pay. The morning of our stay we called to confirm the location and were advised there is a Wilson carpark on Goulburn St. where we should park. We arrived to Sydney and tried to locate this Wilson carpark for 20-25 mins but could not find it. We called the reception again and were told "I can't help you, everyone else is able to find it rather easily, try to look again" and so we decided to just park in the Secure car park which was nearby as we were now running late for our show. At checkout we came to know that t was indeed the Secure carpark where we should have parked all along!

Extremely helpful staff! Dylan was great at check in, taking our number and texting when our room was ready as we arrived early. Great, clean room. It was perfect for our 2 night stay. Fantastic interior. We really enjoyed the location, Surry Hills was great for food options and a walk around. So close to central station too. We really liked the cold water tap downstairs to be able to fill our bottles up! Would highly recommend.

Made a last minute booking for Friday and Saturday night after a week in the CBD for work. Made a request for a bath as I was sick with a head cold. The lady at reception was amazing and moved around rooms so that I could get a bath despite being booked out when I enquired. Wonderful hotel staff, really lovely to have a chat to. Always willing to do the most to help out. Got me almond milk for tea. Allowed me to check out an hour later as I wanted to grab some brunch! Stored my suitcases and popped my food in the fridge while I was out. The hotel itself if amazing, second time staying there. Rooms are great size. Huge bathroom with rain shower and deep soak bath. The king bed is super comfy. Lots of little free minibar snacks/drinks/tea. Plates/cups/kettle/mini fridge/glasses all provided. Loved going up to the rooftop to get some sun and relax on couches. Very secluded little area that’s private with lots of seating.

Lovely! Room was comfortable and spacious. Had everything we needed. Check in was quick and the staff fantastic. The rooftop deck is great to relax with a drink. The breakfast had everything we wanted (toast, yoghurt, granola, fresh fruit etc). Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved my stay at Elizabeth 202. The hotel is gorgeous and recently renovated. Amazing checkin, iced tea on arrival, texts beforehand to confirm checkin time. Everything is brand new and the bed was super comfy. Bathroom has everything you’d need, hair dryer, big bath, huge shower with shampoo/condt. The room had a small fridge, desk and kettle. Went and bought takeaway dessert one night and Gabrielle got us cutlery and bowls. He was fantastic and made our stay amazing, super attentive and good conversations. Would stay again!!! ❤️

Beautiful rooftop terrace, extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was compact but well done. Pastries and butter were good quality. I don't drink coffee but saw many satisfied customers. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Cleaning staff were great. Fantastic location.

I've stayed here a few times and it's always fantastic. Clean with very comfortable beds in nicely decorated and functional rooms. The staff are professional but warm and attentive and the included breakfast is top notch. I will be back.

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star establishment. The room was very small and not as clean as expected, with soap residue left on the taps, hairdryer bag was full of dust. Additionally, two of the power outlets were not functioning, and there was no toothbrush /toothpaste kit provided—something that should be provided in a hotel in this category. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. I overheard a staff member telling a guest, ‘Oh, lucky you, you got the last piece of croissant,’ yet no effort was made to refill the basket, despite there being 45 minutes left before breakfast service ended. Dog treat and dog toy was a good touch, good location.

This hotel is definitely not a five star hotel but rather 2 star . I doubt whether they have license for a 5 star . No bell boy for the luggage, no daily housekeeping , they gave us a room really tiny and the cleaners when they entered they did not clean properly . The breakfast is just basic and the staff really indifferent . I would not suggest it to nobody .

Fantastic location within an easy walk from central station. Room was very clean (albeit on the smaller side) and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Check in from the lady at reception was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sydney.

We were really surprised by this property - in all the right ways. With its double glazing, it was so quiet. The bed was super comfortable, however the pillows were not to our liking, way too soft (worked out some better comfort on our 2nd night). The decor was lovely, and gave a sense of warmth. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Such a well located hotel, so many dining options in the suburb behind, and some great little wine bars. Plenty of transport options and very walkable. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great, well located hotel. Staff were excellent and accommodating. We wish there was some more room to lay our bags, and extra hangers to store our clothes. The shower needs some attention as we ended up with excess water on the floor each day which we found ourselves needing to mop up. It’s new so there is room to improve. The outlook from 403 looked towards the back of some shops so was not that attractive. Positives however is that it was very quiet. Surrounded by great cafes, wine bars, restaurants plus transport minutes away. Easy distance to walk into the city. Complementary breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, pastries was nice. Plus freshly made coffee / latte was enjoyed. We wish our room was bigger too. 403 was relatively small for two but we could see from the hotel map that there are larger rooms with balcony. Overall a nice, new, clean hotel with excellent amenities outside the door. Easy access to taxi / Uber also.

The staff made my stay - Dillon and Serge were wonderful - they remembered my coffee order each morning, were so welcoming to my dogs and nothing was too much trouble. There is a beautiful courtyard for breakfast that is super dog friendly.

Likes: The property was easy to find, clean, suitably appointed rooms, and was in a good area with plenty of dining options around. Dislikes: We had asked about parking options at the time of reservation and were advised there are provisions for $49/day which we were happy to pay. The morning of our stay we called to confirm the location and were advised there is a Wilson carpark on Goulburn St. where we should park. We arrived to Sydney and tried to locate this Wilson carpark for 20-25 mins but could not find it. We called the reception again and were told "I can't help you, everyone else is able to find it rather easily, try to look again" and so we decided to just park in the Secure car park which was nearby as we were now running late for our show. At checkout we came to know that t was indeed the Secure carpark where we should have parked all along!

My wife and I are very seasoned travellers and LOVED our stay at 202 Elizabeth. The room was ready early, it was clean and modern, but the biggest thing that stood out was the staff. They were so incredibly helpful and friendly! They gave us great restaurant suggestions and tips for visiting important locations, such as best things to see and transit directions. And wow did they make a great cappuccino for breakfast! The locations was fantastic too, very easy to see everything within Sydney and lots of great bars nearby Five stars all around!

Extremely helpful staff! Dylan was great at check in, taking our number and texting when our room was ready as we arrived early. Great, clean room. It was perfect for our 2 night stay. Fantastic interior. We really enjoyed the location, Surry Hills was great for food options and a walk around. So close to central station too. We really liked the cold water tap downstairs to be able to fill our bottles up! Would highly recommend.

This hotel is definitely not a five star hotel but rather 2 star . I doubt whether they have license for a 5 star . No bell boy for the luggage, no daily housekeeping , they gave us a room really tiny and the cleaners when they entered they did not clean properly . The breakfast is just basic and the staff really indifferent . I would not suggest it to nobody .

Lovely little spot in a super central location. It was easy walk or take the train/light rail all over Sydney, then come home to an incredibly quiet (thanks, soundproofing!), comfortable and well-designed space to rest and reset. The amazing coffee bar and simple but solid morning breakfast spread were the icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay again.

Everything was lovely but breakfast was disappointing. The poor fellow working alone was run ragged keeping up with everything. And the coffee! It tasted off both mornings. The milk was either sour or the machine hadn’t been cleaned. The juice supply was not replenished, he had no time! Couldn’t even ask him. And hard bagels are a strange choice for toast. And where was the vegemite, peanut butter and honey?

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star establishment. The room was very small and not as clean as expected, with soap residue left on the taps, hairdryer bag was full of dust. Additionally, two of the power outlets were not functioning, and there was no toothbrush /toothpaste kit provided—something that should be provided in a hotel in this category. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. I overheard a staff member telling a guest, ‘Oh, lucky you, you got the last piece of croissant,’ yet no effort was made to refill the basket, despite there being 45 minutes left before breakfast service ended. Dog treat and dog toy was a good touch, good location.

Funky boutique hotel that includes everything you need. Rooms are not huge but are well appointed with comfortable beds and a great shower. Love the cotton robes - nice touch. The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging. Included breakfast was delicious. We will include this hotel on our list for when we stay in the city next time.

Beautiful rooftop terrace, extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was compact but well done. Pastries and butter were good quality. I don't drink coffee but saw many satisfied customers. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Cleaning staff were great. Fantastic location.

The good: short level walk to/from Central Station, very well soundproofed from street noise, room will have a pleasant leafy outlook by mid spring, bed is comfortable, lights have dimmer. Rooftop terrace might be pleasant in warmer months (when I was there it was cold, overshadowed, and the cushions on seating were damp despite no rain that day). There is a wine tasting each evening which might be attractive to some. Not so good: small room filled with king bed, no space to put anything. Air conditioning programmed at 28 degrees could only be overridden by in-room control temporarily. I ended up leaving it powered off. Chromecast was malfunctioning, staff happily reset it for me but I did not want to keep bothering them each time, especially late at night. You may see references online to a complimentary minibar, and robe and slippers, which it seems no longer apply. OK but not a "5 star experience" as claimed.
