Excellent apartments with a fabulous rooftop pool. Great access into the tennis and cricket by walking a couple of miles down Smith Street. Also good access into the City using the team. It's outside of the free zone so make sure you add a Myki to your wallet and top up. The staff are outstanding here and are incredibly helpful. We had a later flight to New Zealand and were given access to the pool and a shower before leaving. I can highly recommend Terror Twilight for food, which is a couple of buildings up.

Visiting family in area hence decision to stay here. Nice, very clean room. Lovely outdoor heated pool on top floor - just wasnt the right season for a swim and unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of action/maintenance during our stay. Would stay again!

Nice hotel, great gym and pool, decent location, but there was still some building work happening in the lobby which was noisy and disruptive and not communicated. Otherwise it's a pretty high standard for the price.

The property was not as it had been promoted online. Room service was the worst quality, our bed was not done properly at all, noticed stains on our duvet and when asked to have it changed we were told it was normal to have stains on the duvet. The floors were never swept either. The spa was out of service, the pool was not heated and the bar was only there for show and was never functional. When we asked for hotel slippers we were told it was only for executive suite guests only.

Fully equipped apartment hotel, hi-tech elevators for your security. Nice lobby lounge. High speed internet. A small gym on site but a big gym just down the street if you're a gym rat. Heated decent size pool on the roof top. Very friendly and helpful staff. Barista coffee available at the front desk. I don't have anything negative to say.

Brand new. Great atmosphere. Rooms were not huge, but had everything we needed. TV could not get free to air stations, which I usually enjoy when travelling, so no news etc, but otherwise everything was great. Heated roof pool and hot tub great, even in the rain. Great location.

The reception staff were excellent with their communication and allowed us early check in, much appreciated thank you. The rooms were quite dark and floors needed a good scrub but the bathroom was clean. Easy to use the nearby buses and trams.

Awesome room with absolutely everything you need (kitchen, laundry, air conditioning), not to mention the huge backyard! The vibrant neighbourhood is full of cafés, restaurants, ice cream/gelato, record stores, etc. Trams to the City are a very short walk away. It would have been absolutely perfect with more attention paid to dusty surfaces. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the property.

The Veriu Collingwood is a clean comfortable hotel. We had an extended stay and our housekeeping staff led by Gel always made sure that our room was taken care of and our needs were met. We enjoyed some outstanding restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The transportation system into the Melbourne central business district was easy to navigate and efficient. We definitely used the laundry machine included inside our room. We would definitely stay at this location again on a future visit to Melbourne.

Our small getaway was absolutely great, the bed was extremely comfortable & the rooms were clean. Another massive bonus was that you couldn’t hear our neighbours which we absolutely loved having a proper sleep in on our holiday. The only thing that left us a sour taste was that our key cards were blocked early hours of morning of check out, we were half an hour late checking out and we got a knock on the door from the receptionist asking us to leave. Now that really left a sour taste as she saw that we would have been a returning guest as our good friends are residents at Veriu also having a small child things go wrong. We have just come back from a European holiday and never were we asked to leave because we’re late checking out, it seems a little unreasonable and in poor taste that we get a rude knock on the door. The receptionist didn’t even ask us at check out how our stay was. My husband & I both said it just ruined our stay with Veriu ending our trip with such a rude experience from that particular staff member.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful . I loved the room , the shower and the bed . The kitchen was cute . Loved the security of only being allowed to get on the elevator with your room key . It’s a great location for bars and very walkable . I left a day early because of the WiFi. Apparently if you have an Apple phone you have to force the pop up screen . I primarily work online so I couldn’t be without WiFi . I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone up . No one came . So I just didn’t finish my stay . Didn’t ask for a refund because I enjoyed my stay but a little more could have been done to help me .

Super small rooms. basic rooms face a wall and don't let in much light. A bit prison like. Not possible to get out of shower and stand on a mat as door opens out. You get water everywhere. Night stands too small to hold anything. limited maid service. Collingwood seems to have the highest rate of homelessness in all of Aus. Can't recommend.

We had a queen room. while it was small, it was beautifully furnished and had space enough to comfortably unpack our suitcase. The room included a kitchen with sink, dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, and full-sized fridge. There was cutlery and crockery. This room would be amazing for an extended stay ( especially if you didn't want to eat out every meal). The bathroom had a great shower. Very happy to stay again.

I really like the place and I’ve gotta say that even facing out to the front there wasn’t any traffic or noise. The only real problem is the air-conditioner was just so loud and clunking sounding. It’s definitely something that they need to attend to because I had it in both rooms, that I was moved to. It’s a good location. Parking was really easy. And the furnishings were terrific. I’m really hoping they fix this AC issue because it’s a great place and the staff are really terrific.

The only thing that left us a sour taste was that our key cards were blocked early hours of morning of check out, we were half an hour late checking out and we got a knock on the door from the receptionist asking us to leave. Now that really left a sour taste as she saw that we would have been a returning guest as our good friends are residents at Veriu also having a small child things go wrong. We have just come back from a European holiday and never were we asked to leave because we’re late checking out, it seems a little unreasonable and in poor taste that we get a rude knock on the door. The receptionist didn’t even ask us at check out how our stay was. My husband & I both said it just ruined our stay with Veriu ending our trip with such a rude experience from that particular staff member.

Excellent apartments with a fabulous rooftop pool. Great access into the tennis and cricket by walking a couple of miles down Smith Street. Also good access into the City using the team. It's outside of the free zone so make sure you add a Myki to your wallet and top up. The staff are outstanding here and are incredibly helpful. We had a later flight to New Zealand and were given access to the pool and a shower before leaving. I can highly recommend Terror Twilight for food, which is a couple of buildings up.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful . I loved the room , the shower and the bed . The kitchen was cute . Loved the security of only being allowed to get on the elevator with your room key . It’s a great location for bars and very walkable . I left a day early because of the WiFi. Apparently if you have an Apple phone you have to force the pop up screen . I primarily work online so I couldn’t be without WiFi . I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone up . No one came . So I just didn’t finish my stay . Didn’t ask for a refund because I enjoyed my stay but a little more could have been done to help me .

In-room facilities are great and cover the basics of what is needed for a short stay. Housekeeping is good however some issues with consistencies of what housekeeping do. Front desk customer service needs a lot of improvement. Some staff are friendly and professional however, most staff seem junior and uncertain of what they are doing. This translates to room bookings both in person and online and the accuracy of information provided verbally. Overall, I wouldn’t stay at this property again and would be reticent to stay at any other Veriu properties if this is the standard to be expected. It’s a great concept however, needs a lot of work for an Aparthotel to remain competitive.

This is one of the BEST hotels I have stayed in Melbourne and anywhere in Australia. My booking was very last minute (same day) and I received a phonecall from the hotel within half an hour of making my booking. They called to confirm my approximate time of arrival, the room size I was after (King bed) and whether I would like to use on-site parking. Being so new, the hotel is super clean and aesthetically it looks amazing. The rooms are a very generous size, warm, comfortable and designed and furnished beautifully. The bed! OMG THE BED! The most comfortable bed I have ever experienced in a hotel. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night and I really did not want to leave that bed. Also it came with 4 pillows, each pillow was a different type (soft, firm, semi etc) and I have never experienced that in a hotel before. Usually they either come with pillows that are all too hard or too soft. The only thing that we were disappointed about was that the advertised rooftop bar and pool was not there or at least it was not available to use. I understand this is a very new hotel (maybe only opened a few weeks ago) however a rooftop bar and pool should not be advertised on their website as being there if it is not. We had purposely booked this hotel because it was for a birthday and we were planning on having drinks on the rooftop in the evening. Luckily there are so many wonderful bars in Collingwood that we could visit instead. Honestly still a 10/10 hotel!

The room we were provided was not what we booked. When this was questioned with staff they would not accept responsibility for the mistake. Whilst we were given a replacement room it still did not meet all expectations and our stay was not as planned and we left disappointed.

The Veriu Collingwood is a clean comfortable hotel. We had an extended stay and our housekeeping staff led by Gel always made sure that our room was taken care of and our needs were met. We enjoyed some outstanding restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The transportation system into the Melbourne central business district was easy to navigate and efficient. We definitely used the laundry machine included inside our room. We would definitely stay at this location again on a future visit to Melbourne.

The hotel Veriu in Collingwood was a very pleasant surprise.. Collingwood is a trendy very young and really fun area to stay. Great restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. The Hotel was awesome had all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer fridge stove & dishwasher. Beds were so comfy and the patio in the superior room was spacious enough we had friend c to visit outside. We would stay there again and Highly recommend the Hotel Veriu.. A great shout out to Mary who looked after us and helped us navigate around Collingwood!!

Fully equipped apartment hotel, hi-tech elevators for your security. Nice lobby lounge. High speed internet. A small gym on site but a big gym just down the street if you're a gym rat. Heated decent size pool on the roof top. Very friendly and helpful staff. Barista coffee available at the front desk. I don't have anything negative to say.

Veriu Collingwood presents fantastic modern styled apartment accomodation options for those visiting on holiday or for business, that’s conveniently located to everything, great food, cafes, bars and shops including supermarkets and chemists also close-by. The rooftop pool area is an amazing way to wind down and appreciate the suburbs scenery. We love meeting the apartment owners with their pets in the lobby and look forward to our returned stays.

Excellent hotel - clean, secure, soundproofed, blackout curtains, excellent kitchen amenities, comfortable bed, great location. My only niggle is that the bath”room” has no door - that utterly stupid design choice. What you have is a partially frosted shower cubicle next to the kitchen, and on the other side of that is a basin. Then the toilet is in a little… closet (with a door!)… along with the washing machine. The only mirror is above the basin, there isn’t one in the living area of the apartment. If the twin rooms are the same (doorless and wall-less bathroom, one mirror) then I personally wouldn’t book it with a friend. Rooftop hot tub looked great though!

Efficient clean small hotel room with mini kitchen and laundry with comfortable bed. I looked forward to the balcony but my first floor balcony had 6' walls around it, in an alley without any sunlight , and had a neighbouring bright security light and camera on it so felt more like a prison yard.. I was disappointed that the pictures online showed a bar/food type area for socializing and there was none where I stayed. No resto/bar on site but some provisions (chips, pop, bottles) were on sale at reception. Reception was not always there perhaps because of staff shortages, I dont blame the staff. Good location for music (the tote) and food.
