Avrasya Port Hotel

I stayed here for 11 days in November 2023. Check-in was easy and the room was pretty much as pictured. Several things about my stay would make me question returning next year. While conveniently located near the Metro, it was very difficult to get a taxi early. I left a day earlier than my reservation to stay close to the airport for an early morning flight home from a hotel that guaranteed early transportation to the airport. I could not chance not getting a ride to the airport once again. The room was clean but housekeeping never once came to change sheets or towels, nor empty the trash during my stay. Speaking of sheets, both the top and bottom sheets barely covered the mattress and of course, neither could be tucked in. The comforter on top was small as well. The toilet lid in the bathroom was not attached on both sides making it shut at an angle, but the toilet worked fine as did the shower. To save energy the halls were kept dark, too dark.. one light would have been nice. The staff on the main level spent much of their time on their mobile phones and the couches in the lobby. Only a few of them spoke English, but then, I was a guest in their country, not the other way around. It did make it difficult to ask some questions about the area and transportation though. Overall, it was a nice enough hotel, but I will most likely look at someplace else should I go back to Istanbul for the same conference next year.

Pour commencer l'accueil n'était pas chaleureux, le personnel n'est pas pas aimable. Un seul ascenseur à disposition qui est petit et limité à 3 personnes (240kg), on a dû faire la queue plusieurs fois. La chambre avec vue : les serviettes déchirées et trouées d'ailleurs comme le cache couette (avec des tâches noires). Malgré nos réclamations, pas de changement. Le nettoyage n'est pas fait systématiquement, il faut mettre toujours le papier sur le poignet extérieur de la porte si non il ne sera jamais fait. Le restaurant est au sous-sol, le petit déjeuner très basique et répétitif. En comparant avec les hôtels que j'ai déjà fait à Istanbul (4 visites) c'est le pire de tous.

De eenpersoonskamers hebben GEEN RAAM! Dit staat nergens vermeld. De kamer is heel warm en benauwd. Er staat een airco die het doet maar niet voldoende. De koelkast staat in een kast en kan zijn warmte niet kwijt waardoor de koelkast niet koelt. In de lakens zitten vlekken. Uit de wastafel in de badkamer komt regelmatig een rioollucht. De kamer wordt niet altijd schoongemaakt als je daar om vraagt. Het personeel spreekt niet goed Engels en ze zijn vaak chagrijnig. Als het ontbijt op is heb je gewoon pech, er wordt niks aangevuld. De andere gasten die ik sprak waren ook allemaal zwaar teleurgesteld. Het enige positieve dat ik kan zeggen is dat de entree er netjes uit ziet en de straal van de douche prettig is. Mijn advies, boek een ander hotel.

Nice staff ,good level of english ,so helpful and polite ,exactly what you need . Clean hotel ,with refurbished rooms . I have feel safe there . First of all good value for money . Definwtelly ,will go back there .

Die Bettwäsche haben gestunken… Zimmer war von erste Tag aus dreckig…nach Reinigung genauso dreckig …

La chambre est conforme aux photos et elle est propre.

Auf alle Decken und Bettwäsche war flecke und Haare darauf bitte alle nochmal mit 90 °c waschen. Vielen Dank

Hotel Avrasya, buono, da consigliare. Camera molto pulita, buona colazione, biancheria,asciugamani come nuovi, bel servizio.

Kamers werden niet gekuisd hoe het zou moeten, enkel bed lakens werden vervangen. Vol stof op de grond en rondom het meubilair. Aan het personeel niets te verwijten. Hotel kwam kuis personeel te kort.

I did like the personal especially Mr samet, he was very welcoming and always there for me whenever I needed him.. The place is really clean and neat. I would recommend this hotel my friend

My room has a fridge which doesn’t work, when I asked the front disk guy he said it’s due to the weather . WHATTTT? What the weather has to do with the fridge in the room. And the bathroom sink was clogged, no trash can in the room

The room I got was super small and barely one bed fit in the room and there was no window to outside. The staff were nice and the breakfast quality was good.

Pictures and actual hotel rooms dont’ match. Rooms were extremely small that u feel claustrophobic. Shower cabin was just to fit one person for who it’s difficult to even turn around in one place. Water after shower got logged & covered entire area of bathroom outside the cabin & took around an hour to get drained. Breakfast was useless, with minimal options. Stayed in turkey for 15 days but this hotel was highly disappointing. Hotel is just isnt worth the money, their attitude made it worse.

Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Without them I would not have a good time at Istanbul. Great location, close to the public transport so on……

Good evening when you see the pictures on the web is totally different. So bad customer service my firdge was out since im arrived i went to help desk ask them to fixed it took 3 days and room was dirty and breakfast the menu was same you need to change the menu the stuff is not helpful im not requesting no one stay at his hotel

Personal sprechen sehr schlechtes English. Bei Taxi bestellen von Hotel sind die Preise ungenau.

Travelled for the Champions League final but the hotel was disappointing. The greeting when we arrived was a little but strange but we assumed that was because we arrived at 02:00. The following morning we went to the reception expecting a friendly team that would enhance our stay. We asked for a map but the hotel reception didn't have one ? We went down for breakfast but had to just help ourselves as the lady working in the breakfast room was looking at her phone the whole time. The hotel site describes this friendly helpful team that can arrange tours etc. Unfortunately I lost my room key on our first day and had to buy another one ? Football was great but the hotel was poor at best !

Last night on front of the property was a big tractor making too much noise UNTIL midnight. With lights around. I spoke to the receptionist said they don’t know. I couldn’t sleep at all . Manager said they will return my money back. But because I am booking at Hotel.com they take 3 months to return it is that right?!

Staffs are very kind and friendly. Location is very convenient, easy access to otogar and Istanbul airport.

Fint hotell for et par netter i Istanbul. Hotellet var forholdsvis lite med få rom, og rommene var heller ikke kjempestore. Dog virket de relativt nyoppussede, og alt virket som det skulle. Aircondition som viktigste punkt her for vår del. Lydisolering kunne sikkert vært bedre, men det går jo også litt på hvilke andre type gjester som bor der samtidig. Ingen støy fra gaten utenfor. Døgnbemannet resepsjon med greie språkkunnskaper og behjelpelige. Helt ok basic frokost som ga en god start på dagen. Kjenner ikke til området hotellet ligger i, da vi ikke utforsket det. Vi valgte dette på bakgrunnen av nærhet til Metroen og fanzone før CL finalen.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral, man kann die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal was sehr freundlich. Das Hotelzimmer war in Ordnung. Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Aardige personeel Ontbijt was matig niet zoveel keuze maar bediening was goed. Locatie was goed maar erg druk over dag. Schoonmaken was matig de kamer wordt niet helemaal schoon gemaakt.
