The apartment was excellent in almost all ways. Clean, everything was there that we wanted, all modern and in good working condition, some good generosity eg plenty of coffee capsules, and so on and even some bits and pieces in the cupboard so cooking could be easier (not that we did any while we were there). However the first night when we went to bed, the light and noise from Northbourne Avenue which is just outside the window of this first floor apartment seriously interfered with our sleep as the blinds just didnt cover sufficient of the ambient light. By the second night we had got hold of eye masks and with blackout of the light, the sounds werent sufficiently problematic to interfere and our second and third nights we slept well. So rent this place but make sure you bring eye masks and maybe ear pieces as well if you are very sound sensitive

This property was in an ideal for us and is very well presented. The apartment is clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable. Check-in was easy, as was parking. The only downside was the traffic noise as it is located on the main road into the city but only between the hours of 7am and 11pm so sleeping wasn't an issue. Crockery was a bit light on and the sofa was trendy but very uncomfortable.
