APPARTAMENTO DI LUSSO GUGGENHEIM

Our experience of receiving final details of the address of the property and collection of the keys from the Host was extremely stressful. Had to call Vrbo because the Host had not been in touch and his phone was unavailable. Finally heard where to collect keys and again this was stressful as they were held at a nearby bar in a box with several other sets of keys to other properties and the Bartender did not know which were the keys we needed. We were given a set and told to come back if they were the wrong ones. We were booked to stay for 4 nights, on the second day of our stay there was a ring on our doorbell and four young women were booked to stay at our apartment during the same time. They had booked via another online travel agency . It took them 4 hours to find a hotel instead. Reading previous reviews for this property it seems that this is not the first occasion when the place has been double booked. The apartment was good but completely lacking in any information about WiFi, appliances and other normal useful information.

Despite whats app messages to owner, Vrbo messages, heard nothing from the listing until 8.40pm the night before we were to arrive and we were cancelled. It was infuriating to be cancelled last minute. Usually one receives check in info 24 hours in advance--which we did not receive. To be cancelled on such short notice is unbelievable. Having to deal with a long trip and try and find new accomodations was not something I had thought I would have to do.

It was easy to get into the flow of from this location, just a few blocks from the art museum, as well as modes of transportation. There was an elevator, which were very well for us a seniors. And it was only up one floor if we chose to climb the stairs.

Such a great apartment and location. Our family of four had a great experience here. Walking distance to everything.

we have to say we were little disappointed is the property. Major difficulty in getting the door open thanks to the neighbour who helped us out. The pictures and description of the apartment are out of date we didn't have a king size bed in the main bedroom. The smell from the waste pipe was overwhelming at times, dishwater still had dirt dishes in it, hand soap and shower gel was nearly empty and finally the beds were horrible one of the beds had mould on it and the other had a cheap mattress cover to hide the torn mattress. When we left I had 3 attempts to contact the own finally received a reply 3 hours later
