Just make sure you know parking is difficult, the manger explained after but still didn’t understand till we arrived how difficult and you need to make sure you don’t miss the parking structure because it take 15-20 minutes to get around the town

We loved the charming hotel: very nice room with a huge terrace, Rahid the manager was quite attentive, nice breakfast, garden with hot tub, 2 hammocks and an outdoor eating area was very nice. Reason for the overall 4 stars was there was a nightclub close by that plays very loud music till midnight every night. Hard time sleeping till they stopped.

Was surprised to be told that if we needed something, we should anticipate it and text the single staff in advance as he indicated that he wasn’t always on property. The shower was smaller than a now extinct phone booth. At check out was yold that I had to pay city tax of €15 in cash. Hot tub was luke warm, more of a bath than a jacuzzi experience.

Overall this was a good stay. The service was helpful. The garden and jacuzzi were nice to have. Would recommend for people who are mostly planning to sleep in the hotel, and who want to be right in the heart of the city. The biggest downsides were that the AC in our room wasn’t very effective, and that it was quite loud at night given the central location. We were glad we read this in the reviews before we came, and brought a white noise machine. It saved the day (or night, rather).

Would recommend for people who are mostly planning to sleep in the hotel, and who want to be right in the heart of the city. The biggest downsides were that the AC in our room wasn’t very effective, and that it was quite loud at night given the central location. The service was excellent. The property has amazing history- 300 year old building! Many interesting nooks and crannies. The garden area was just lovely. A great respite from Via Umberto chaos. The breakfast was abundant and good. The two drawbacks were the noise from the busy street until midnight- but there are rooms that don’t suffer that. Ask for one. The second was the Oder in the bathroom. Probably related to the age of the building. But, it was good value. Great location.

The parking is not that hard. You simply have to park 200 meters away in the city parking garage multi level and no hill. Instructions to that garage would be helpful, it’s 20-25E a day :)

You immediately feel this place is special. Lovely refurbished house, turned hotel, with some elements dating back to the 1500's. Charming garden (with a small heated pool). Very impressed, thank you for our stay!

This b b was located directly off corso umberto with quick access to all that taormina offers. The breakfast was full and delicious. They do a turn down service daily so if theres something you dont want disturbed i suggest you put it in your luggage.

This place was a let down, pics didn’t do it right and we had problems. Room was dingy, dark, and so loud at night we had to wait til 1am when the band stopped to sleep, then an hour later the AC buzzed and turned off for the rest of the night. I couldn’t get it to turn back on so it was a sleepless night. Breakfast was less than desirable, and my AC complaint was met with insinuation that we turned it off ourselves. I didn’t want to waste another precious trip night there, so we booked elsewhere and it was the best decision. We went from a basic economy experience to business class. By moving to hotel away from commercial center and decided to upgrade to avoid another smoke and mirrors booking. I can see why this place has a two night minimum when booking.

We had the best stay! You can’t find a better location, and it’s surprisingly quiet tucked behind the main strip. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was simple and satisfactory. Rohid went above and beyond many times for us in the 5 days we were there. With travel issues getting into the Catania airport, he was able to schedule a driver for us to the neighboring airports with short notice. They were also extremely accommodating for us as I required fridge storage for breast milk. I was able to text him questions throughout our stay and he suggested some great restaurants for us.

Rohid, was amazing! he attended to our every need, promptly! The B and B was very charming and splendidly decorated! The balcony patio was a pleasure to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book! Loved our stay and great location to explore Taormina!

The hotel was like a small oasis in the busy Main Street of Corso Umberto. The room was lovely with a small outside seating area. It could be noisy as it is on the Main Street but this did not adversely impact my stay and proximity to bars and restaurants was worth it for me

Very nice place. Rohid the host was excellent with tips on dining, places to go and on hand WhatsApp if you are stuck. Breakfast was also wonderful with fresh produce in abundance.

I stayed at Relais 147 for 2 nights to enjoy Taormina and Etna wine country. The setting was a beautiful oasis right off the main pedestrian street. There was a wonderful peaceful courtyard and my room was generously sized with a very nice semi-private enclosed deck. Breakfast was included and was very good with lots of baked goods, some fruit, and eggs. Unfortunately, my trip started with delayed luggage at Palermo airport. I was having issues coordinating the arrival and delivery of my luggage as I was moving around the island. Salvo, the owner, was amazing in helping out. He offered his contact with the airline and also phoned the baggage service to help coordinate it all, while I went off wine tasting. He recommended 2 great restaurants to eat at during my stay and both were less touristy than the main strip options with authentic food. I would absolutely recommend staying at Relais 147 and plan to return in the future.

Breakfast was included and was very good with lots of baked goods, some fruit, and eggs. Unfortunately, my trip started with delayed luggage at Palermo airport. I was having issues coordinating the arrival and delivery of my luggage as I was moving around the island. Salvo, the owner, was amazing in helping out. He offered his contact with the airline and also phoned the baggage service to help coordinate it all, while I went off wine tasting. He recommended 2 great restaurants to eat at during my stay and both were less touristy than the main strip options with authentic food. I would absolutely recommend staying at Relais 147 and plan to return in the future.

We had the best stay! You can’t find a better location, and it’s surprisingly quiet tucked behind the main strip. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was simple and satisfactory. Rohid went above and beyond many times for us in the 5 days we were there. With travel issues getting into the Catania airport, he was able to schedule a driver for us to the neighboring airports with short notice. They were also extremely accommodating for us as I required fridge storage for breast milk. I was able to text him questions throughout our stay and he suggested some great restaurants for us.

Was surprised to be told that if we needed something, we should anticipate it and text the single staff in advance as he indicated that he wasn’t always on property. The shower was smaller than a now extinct phone booth. At check out was yold that I had to pay city tax of €15 in cash. Hot tub was luke warm, more of a bath than a jacuzzi experience.

Just make sure you know parking is difficult, the manger explained after but still didn’t understand till we arrived how difficult and you need to make sure you don’t miss the parking structure because it take 15-20 minutes to get around the town

The hotel was like a small oasis in the busy Main Street of Corso Umberto. The room was lovely with a small outside seating area. It could be noisy as it is on the Main Street but this did not adversely impact my stay and proximity to bars and restaurants was worth it for me

Amazing stay at Relais 147! What a beautiful place in the perfect location right at the center of Taormina, yet a tranquil oasis all day around even when Corso Umberto was full of vibrant life morning, noon and night. Our host Rohid with family was fantastic in every way in terms of service, recommendations of great restaurants and above all, a very gentle, nice kind and interresting persona. I stayed at Relais 147 for 2 nights to enjoy Taormina and Etna wine country. The setting was a beautiful oasis right off the main pedestrian street. There was a wonderful peaceful courtyard and my room was generously sized with a very nice semi-private enclosed deck. This place was a let down, pics didn’t do it right and we had problems. Room was dingy, dark, and so loud at night we had to wait til 1am when the band stopped to sleep, then an hour later the AC buzzed and turned off for the rest of the night. I couldn’t get it to turn back on so it was a sleepless night. Breakfast was less than desirable, and my AC complaint was met with insinuation that we turned it off ourselves. I didn’t want to waste another precious trip night there, so we booked elsewhere and it was the best decision. We went from a basic economy experience to business class. By moving to hotel away from commercial center and decided to upgrade to avoid another smoke and mirrors booking. I can see why this place has a two night minimum when booking.

We loved the charming hotel: very nice room with a huge terrace, Rahid the manager was quite attentive, nice breakfast, garden with hot tub, 2 hammocks and an outdoor eating area was very nice. Reason for the overall 4 stars was there was a nightclub close by that plays very loud music till midnight every night. Hard time sleeping till they stopped.

The service was excellent. The property has amazing history- 300 year old building! Many interesting nooks and crannies. The garden area was just lovely. A great respite from Via Umberto chaos. The breakfast was abundant and good. The two drawbacks were the noise from the busy street until midnight- but there are rooms that don’t suffer that. Ask for one. The second was the Oder in the bathroom. Probably related to the age of the building. But, it was good value. Great location.

Very charming place in the middle of everything which makes it very convenient. The room was comfortable and we loved the private balcony overlooking the street. The staff kindly provided some early breakfast for us on our last day we we needed to depart early.

Lovely large rooms right in the middle of Taormina, but nice and peaceful once in the garden. Friendly welcome from Rohin and all the team are friendly and helpful. Yes you will hear noise from the street early in the morning, but for a couple of days, that's fine. You're in one of the busiest tourist spots you'll ever visit. We would stay again. Great value for the location.

Sulla via principale di Taormina, insiste il relais 147. Aperto il portone, ci si trova all’interno di uno splendido giardino che prevede una palazzina deliziosa di tre piani. L’ambiente interno è molto ben arredato e la struttura è davvero bella. La camera e i servizi non sono all’altezza della struttura. Il personale è molto gentile, premuroso e preparato. La colazione è la nota dolente: buffet dolce e salato con prodotti da discount. Le torte e i cornetti sono di bassa qualità, lo stesso dicasi per i salumi ed il succo d’arancia (perché non una spremuta nella terra delle arance???). Peccato davvero, rendere un posto così bello soltanto attrattivo per turisti stranieri è squalificante per il potenziale della struttura
