The hotel was in a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. The rooms were clean and generally quiet. The only criticism is that there is only one small elevator, so sometimes you need to wait if there are several people. I wish they would allow guests to access the stairs. Other than that, everything was good.

Small hotel in the middle of it all! Such a great location that is walkable to all the great points of interest. Rooftop breakfast spot had amazing views of the acropolis and the food and coffee was excellent! Staff service quality was good as well. Just note that there is no lobby for sitting and only one elevator. Room was comfortable with nice shower and bed.

This hotel is in the middle of everything. The rooms are beautiful and modern. There is no Jim, which is a problem. And there's a tiny elevator, which makes it difficult to go up and down.

Hotel was lovely, had great amenities including free breakfast and was centrally located. Note: it is located on the pedestrian only part of Ermou street, so taxi drop off is a short block away. Also, the lobby is minimal. But the desk clerks were absolutely wonderful and helpful.

The hotel has only 1 elevators to accommodate for restaurant on 7th floor, and all hotel’s guests. The worst is elevator can take maximum 2 guests at a time. We had to use stair mostly.

It's a hole-in-the-wall hotel with no lobby. It has a very good roof-top restaurant where a good breakfast is served with an excellent view of the Acropolis, which is within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and nice.

We stayed at Athens Utopia Ermou for 3 nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and clean and a descent size. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The only issue during our stay was that the lift stopped working on several occasions meaning we had to use the stairs. Thankfully on our check out day the lift was working and we didn’t have to carry heavy luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Also note our room had beams blocking the window in the room that obstructed the view, keep that in mind if a view is important. In saying that the view on the rooftop bar where breakfast was served was magnificent!! Great view of the Acropolis.

It has about 5 floors, with 5 or 6 rooms per floor. The reception is just a counter, but the staff was very friendly. The best thing about the hotel is that it's located on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants near Sygtagma Square. Now the bad thing: we traveled in March, and it's the cold season, so hotels in Europe don't have air conditioning, and you have to open the window. Because of this, you can hear the noise from the street and the bells of a nearby church. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Don't expect a large hotel, and because it's a pedestrian street, the shuttles don't arrive right in front of the door. You have to walk a bit to where the driver can park.

The property was clean and they allowed us to leave our bags when we were early. Our room was lovely. The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices compared to American standards. The only issue that we had was that it was a little expensive for what we got and, the signage is very difficult to see. We had a hard time finding it because the taxi driver had to drop us off relatively far away due to the lack of accessible streets. When we walked to try to find it, the sign was not what we were expecting Perhaps they could give an explanation when booking. I ended up using Google maps walking to find it and it took longer because the sign was so small. When you are going to hotel you expect a pretty large entrance. It’s literally a door like an apartment entrance. Otherwise, very nice stay.

Los aspectos negativos: El mal olor que tuvo (a caño) del baño de la habitación en toda la estancia que fue muy molesto y el servicio de traslado del aeropuerto al hotel que nos ofrecieron como una cortesía especial el cual NO llegó por nosotros por lo que tomamos un taxi al mismo precio de la “promoción especial”. (Pros: Location is EXTRAORDINARY, the roof top restaurant and bar is FANTASTIC with a perfect view of Acropolis. Cons: The smell of the bathroom (pipe) during all staying was very uncomfortable and the other was the transportation service offered from the airport to the hotel as a courtesy didn’t show up, we took a taxi at the same price as the “exceptional promotion”

A cute little hotel, relatively expensive for what it offers. There is one problem that throughout the day there is noise from the nearby streets and it doesn't matter which direction the room is facing. In terms of the hotel's location, it is close to everything, which is great. It's a shame that breakfast is no longer served. In the past there was a very good catered breakfast on the top floor and as of this holiday, it is no longer served and it's a shame. The fact that the hotel does not have a lobby is a disadvantage. The cleanliness was beyond criticism, the toilet was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed during a 5 night stay, so we had to ask to be cleaned. It doesn't look like we will return to this hotel unfortunately.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ich durfte sogar an meinen letzten Tag meinen Koffer dort lassen, bis ich zum Flughafen fuhr. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön auf den Acropolis. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Ich hatte auch jeden Tag wieder Wassen im Kühlschrank. Für mich wäre es nicht nötig gewesen jeden Tag frische Handtücher zu erhalten. Die Fenster sind schalldicht und so hört man nichts von draussen. Das Hotel liegt gleich an einer lebhaften Strasse. Die Metrostation Monastiraki ist zu Fuss in gut 5-7 Minuten erreichbar.

The hotel is well located within the heart of Athens and within walking distance of many of the attractions. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed the terrace for morning breakfast and evening drinks. The only critique we have is that there was a smell that came from the pipes in the bathroom which is probably a structural issue. Otherwise the room was very nice.

They had plumbing issues and our room stinked from it. Housekeeper did a great job but the stink was coming from the wall due to pipe bursting.

Wonderful hotel! Bright, clean rooms. We were upgraded and had a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was great! Would stay here again and recommend. Lovely staff too!

The only bad thing I can say, is we could not control the A/C. Apparently it’s seasonal. We were not happy that we had to be hot at night.

Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. The room was spacious with air conditioning, free water, a fridge and toiletries. The shower was very powerful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop bar was amazing with views of the Acropolis and we had a complimentary drink on arrival. This is a great hotel for couples to relax in a lovely location.

Amazingly located at the heart of Ermou and outstanding views of the Acropolis. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was quite unique and the bed was extremely comfortable and spacious.

We stayed at Athens Utopia Ermou for 3 nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and clean and a descent size. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The only issue during our stay was that the lift stopped working on several occasions meaning we had to use the stairs. Thankfully on our check out day the lift was working and we didn’t have to carry heavy luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Also note our room had beams blocking the window in the room that obstructed the view, keep that in mind if a view is important. In saying that the view on the rooftop bar where breakfast was served was magnificent!! Great view of the Acropolis.

The best thing about the hotel is that it's located on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants near Sygtagma Square. Because of this, you can hear the noise from the street and the bells of a nearby church. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. The front desk people could not have been more helpful and the best city tour guides!! The roof top bar ( not affiliated with the hotel) were the worst!!! Absolutely the slowest service, the mostly rude, and an unbelievable ability to avoid patrons! The roof top has the best view in town!! Unfortunately the worst service we found in Athens!!

This hotel has decent amenities. However, it is located on a major street which makes it extremely loud. Often, there are performers on the street, so if you overlook that you will be fine. The location is very near to a lot of good eating places and shopping. We requeted their taxi service, and were extremly dissapointed with the service. The shuttle driver left us about a mile away from the hotel because he did not wanted to drive into traffic, we had 4 big bags to carry on some of the busiest streets in Athens. So I cant recomend the service, just get Uber

We arrived at the hotel at 00:30 and the room was prepaid, with a special note, ”arriving late around midnight”. Upon arrival we were informed by front- desk that we have no room, the hotel has been overbooked. Receptionist tried to book us into other hotels during one hour without any success, the situation evolved into a nightmare.

The staff was so kind and helpful. We were able to check in 4 hours early. Upon our departure day they ordered a cab for us very early. They upgraded our 3 rooms to get better views for free. You get vouchers for a free breakfast and they serve the most delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Picture included!! We had a wonderful experience.

Le petit déjeuner était un véritable désastre. Peu de choix, qualité moyenne et SURTOUT un service absolument pas la hauteur. Le personnel en avait strictement rien à faire des clients. Le dernier jour, nous étions dès l'ouverture du restaurant à 8 heures. 8h20, toujours pas de personnel. Très mauvaise expérience pour nos 7 petits déjeuners.

Hotel was lovely, had great amenities including free breakfast and was centrally located. Note: it is located on the pedestrian only part of Ermou street, so taxi drop off is a short block away. Also, the lobby is minimal. But the desk clerks were absolutely wonderful and helpful.

I had an amazing stay at Athens Utopia Ermou! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to the train station, close to all the major attractions, and surrounded by plenty of dining and shopping options. It made exploring Athens so easy and convenient. One of the best parts was the incredible view of the Acropolis from the top floor — truly breathtaking! With its central location, easy access to transportation, great restaurants, shops, and beautiful views, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Athens. Highly recommend!

This hotel is an amazing find right in the heart of everything. 5 minute walk to Syntagma Sq and Plaka. You won’t find a location more centrally located. The hotel is all new construction, great bed, bathroom, shower, storage and safe. Lots of room to stretch out. Elevator, rooftop restaurant and bar with a great view of the Acropolis without the crowds. Breakfast was amazing and was included with my room. I recommend it so much that I already booked another stay for my return.

Amazing experience. We had to switch hotels just before midnight due to excessive noise at our previous one. The receptionist could see how exhausted we were after such a rough evening and kindly upgraded our room. It made all the difference and truly turned our night around. Their breakfast is amazing too

Check-in was speedy and efficient. Friendly member of staff that explained the welcome drink and breakfast vouchers. The room was a good size and everything that was needed. Great supply of toiletries and amenities. Location was great in pedestrian area. Close to all attractions. Rooftop restaurant was amazing and great views. Best breakfast and choice amazing. Totally excellent stay😊

The view on the roof deck was spectacular, the provided breakfast we had while we enjoyed the view was also excellent. The staff were friendly and the location was central to everything. I highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Vi fick ingen frukost trots att vi betalat för det! När vi kom kl 8 så satt en personal och drack kaffe o tittade på sin telefon. När vi frågade om frukost så hon att servitrisen försovit sig och hon kunde bara erbjuda kaffe. Vi väntade 10 minuter till. Sen bad jag om en cappuccino att ta med eftersom vår taxi till flyget skulle gå snart. Då ville hon ha betalt för den trots att vi inte skulle hinna få någon frukost. Så dålig hanterat! Dessutom kan man bara åka två pers i den enda hissen som finns vilket innebär väntan hela tiden. Kommer inte boka detta hotell igen.

The only problem is access to the hotel. There is no traffic in the street so you have to walk some distance to meet a taxi or be dropped off. It’s not for people who have a lot of luggage or are unable to carry/ wheel baggage. Nice view from the roof restaurant.

The lobby workers were all very nice during our stay. They scheduled a shutttle for an early morning to the airport, with our satisfaction. Breakfast is good. The room is clean and well maintained. There were two issues with the room. The lights are not very strong, so we do not see well when we need something from our luggage, for example. The other issue is the small number of electric plugs. We had to unplug the bedside lamps to charge our electronic devices. However, the hotel is in a perfect location to walk to the different attractions, and offers a good value for money.
