Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

Room was very clean and nice. Desk chair a bit run down in appearance. Bed was comfortable but had metal kickplate around bed frame so kept banging with my toe. Motel is near road so can hear a loud vehicle once in awhile but our room was far enough away so we didn’t mind. Only negative really was the shower, faucet was very tight and fastened loosely to wall. Also hot water ran out quickly so one of us had to take a cold shower. Great location! We would stay again.

The ice machine needs to be replaced, Dirty, couldn't get a whole glass of ice out. nice clean rooms, quiet, close to restaurants, harbor and shopping.

No refrigerator. Shower didn’t work well. Attendant was quite helpful with making accommodations for the lack of fridge. Nice accents like they had lotion, which was surprising. Basics (shower, refrigerator, weird room smell, and inaccurate thermostat that’s colder than stated) are lacking.

Noisy from Hwy 101. Few restaurants nearby. Office door was locked and required one to be buzzed in…is this an unsafe area? But it was cheap and reasonably clean.

Travelodge was a good stop on our Oregon coast/California road trip! The room was spacious and nicely renovated. They have laundry on site which was helpful traveling with a toddler. Would stay here again!

Basic clean room with tidy, well lit property. Reasonable rate. We had a comfortable stay. We would stay here again when traveling on a budget.

Stayed whilst road tripping Highway 101. Spacious. Not much in the surrounding area. Parking on site. Short drive to downtown and restaurants.

Pretty good place to stay. Staff is friendly. Parking is a bit tight, but manageable. The building is pretty old, but has obviously been updated at some point. Not a bad location, several restaurants and shops and the aquarium within walking distance. Road noise barely noticeable inside the room. Overall a good place with reasonable rates.

Went out to dinner, returned a little after 8pm, no more parking. Had to park on the side of the property. Rear entrance was closed and had to walk around to get to our room.

Blood on sheets. There was a metal base on bed with a spring set under the mattress. Wondering if the housekeeper inadvertently cuts herself wwhen cleaning??? Otherwise it was definitely cleaner than the last Wyndham we stayed

Room smelled like mildew. Very strongly. Dead flies in the tub and other surfaces. Weird beeping and humming noises

When i walked in the floor had a layer of sand and my daughter and i both had to wear out shoes inside. The sheets even had sand in them. My room was not cleaned the whole time i was there. My key card needed to be re keyed every time i came back from my excursions for the day. The pillows were ridiculously not usable. I needed to ask for towels because they were not replenished. I will never stay at a travelodge ever again

this was the most gross hotel ive ever stayed at , i have picture of my kids feet covered in dirt and gunk from the floors , so grosss we had to stay there cuz we arrived at 1am sadly and had no where else to go or i would have left

This hotel is dirty; floors have crumbs and dirt. Tub water was brownish in color; shower water temperature hard to control. Amenities are cheap and hotel building is run down. I paid over $100/ night and it was so disappointing. I will never again consider Travelodge. Travelers - Stay away!!

Property wasn't very clean. Floors were dirty and comforter on bed was filthy. Wi fi was very spotty and kept going on and off. No toiletries, No breakfast and had to ask for TP. On next visit will not stay there. Will try Quality Inn or one of the others down the street.

Easy check in/out nice clean room

Had ants in our room. When trying to kill them they were all around a left over Dorito under the sofa bed what was left by a previous guest. Cleanliness not the best, hair left between the wall and the bed.

The property seemed like it has been renovated. The room was very spacious. The tub was a jetted tub. I was not a fan of the creaking beds. The beds were comfortable just made a lot of noise.

Pictures look better than reality but room was clean and bed was comfortable. Walls are paper thin and could hear every noise. Convenient that it’s right off the highway but also more noisy. However the Mexican restaurant right across the street is very popular and tasty! Would be nice to offer some coffee in the lobby especially in the morning.

It was an ok place to grab the overnight sleep. The beds are on top of some kind of metal. Everytime we moved, it made a loud noise.

Staff was nice. Our room was near a street so that was a little loud in the morning but we could walk to the oceanfront from our room. We had a broken lock on the inside of the room. The one you flip to keep you secure from someone being able to use an extra key card

This was a real nice room. lots of space. Cords were a little too accessible for a crawling baby. The crib was actually a play pin, but it was just like ours back home and he was very comfortable in it. My only complaint is the same in all modern hotels: the beds are too high. I had to buy a footstool just to get up on the bed.

Though the facility is older, the room has had upgrades to it. I would have given it an excellent but the wifi was lacking in stability. I realize one night was the result of the storm. But it didn't improve and made it impossible to do any work as it would either crash or substantially slow down too often to be able to do anything on it. Other than that, it was a great location and those tending to the facility were welcoming and efficient. It was very clean on arrival.

Motel along the highway. Linen and towels clean. Quite big rooms. Its a "stop on the way", not a destination.

Nice Location, it’s close to the beach. Wi didn’t get enough wi fi in our room to enjoy our accommodation better.

Front desk wasnt around to give us keys to our room. Us and 5 other people came around looking for staff and they were no where to be found. Tried to cancel and find somewhere else. Had to go somewhere else anyways

The manager was very helpful and went out of her way to assist. Also her staff helped me also. Will come back.

We spent over $300 for two nights and were very disappointed with the experience. We were under the impression that breakfast would be included, but it was not. Trying to reach the front desk was frustrating—calls from both the room phone and our cell phones went unanswered, and the only communication we got was through delayed text responses. The water was freezing cold, so we couldn’t even take a proper shower. The beds were extremely uncomfortable—I ended up going out to buy an air mattress just to get some rest. For the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. For just a bit more, we could’ve stayed somewhere nicer with actual amenities and better service. We won’t be returning.

Room was clean, hotel staff was kind and attentive. When the power went out on the second night due to a storm, she crossed a cold, dark, rainy parking lot to bring us blankets and check up on us. Only objection was the bathroom being very cold and it took a long time for the water to warm up.

During check in the person at the check-in area was clearly on a cigarette break, (I stood around for a good five minutes, waiting) and upon seeing that someone was there to check in didn’t say two words to me not even hello. There was hair in the bathroom on the toilet. Barely a half a roll of toilet paper to get me through the stay. The comforter on the bed had tears in it, and the pillows had black smudges on them. The towels in the bathroom were very old and discolored. The thing that really threw me for a loop this trip was the following morning. The maid service started promptly at 8 AM and it was so noisy, rolling the carts around back-and-forth outside the door of the room. While in the bathroom, I hear a knock on the door aggressively saying “ housekeeping! Housekeeping!” Meanwhile, I’m in the bathroom and cannot come to the door for an obvious reason, the housekeeper inserts the card in the door and flings the door open! Mind you, I found it weird there were no “do not disturb”signs to hang on any of the doors. After I turned the corner in the room, I said “I’m still here! “ she mumbled something and grabbed the door to swing it shut. This wasn’t even after checkout time. It was around 10 AM in my understanding. Pretty much everywhere has a check out time at 11 AM, right? I was flabbergasted I have never had any of these things happen at a hotel before. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel, or any travelodge for that matter in the future.

Got woken up by the alarms they use on the doors at 4am only way to turn it off was to leave the door unlocked which made it very unsafe and uncomfortable for us. I trued calling the office several times with no answer. After about 55 mins later our neighbors alarm also started going off on their room. This was very inconvenient and coyldnt get any sleep the manager was not available to help at all. When i was getting ready to go check out i thought i would let the office know what happened but apparently you cant get in the office I waited a few mins for someone to come and nobody came so i ended up leaving the keys in the box, all together terrible experience.If your looking to not get any sleep then this is the spot for you! Management was not reachable in person or by phone which made things more difficult

The lady who ran the front desk (pretty sure she did everything) was amazing.

The staff (Brittney) was excellent, the rooms were really clean and the bed (king) was very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and it was great!

Clean and close to the redwood parks

It was a decent budget motel. Location was good to visit Northern section of Redwood NP. Room was clean and the bathroom looked recently remodeled. The lady at the front desk seemed nice so no real complaints. I had to continue to remind myself that the door to the room opens out into the parking area...so it was really noisey at times, but all in all it was not a bad place to stay.

Quiet and a short walk to restaurants, marina and the lighthouse jetty.

Did just what we needed, clean room, clean towels. Nice location right by the harbor, walking distance to restaurants, and coffee shops. There’s a bike/walking trail just behind which made a good way to get to the local park.

When we booked this room it said there was breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast. Also, it's really easy to hear the neighboring rooms. You can hear people walking around even in the rooms next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We got to park our car right in front of our door which was the highlight of all of our hotel experiences for this trip. Rooms were nice. Looked updated. Keurig machine was a little dirty. Had to run water through to clean it first. Small check in room, limited front desk it looked like. No breakfast or coffee.

The listing and the in-room guest book indicate there would be breakfast but in the morning the lobby was locked and no one at the counter and no breakfast. The towels were brownish color and edges shredded. The bed sheets and pillow cases looked like they had been slept on and not washed. The wood floor was very dirty and our socks got so black. This hotel staff seemed like he didn't care about the job or the customers. He asked for my credit card, charged it and gave me room keys and said nothing else. This hotel was a very bad experience. It looks like the room has been remodeled but the amenities are not kept and the towels are all brownish and way overused.

It was a convenient stop on our way to Oregon Caves NM. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge, coffee maker). Beds were quite small but comfortable. They did not offer any breakfast though.

I think the only bummer was the pictures on expedia showed a continental breakfast while the actual property does not offer this. That was a huge selling point for us. So if you're reading this review on expedia just know there is no continental breakfast.

I booked a hotel through Expedia, expecting a property with breakfast for $76. However, Expedia incorrectly advertised the hotel as including breakfast, leading me to book it for $110. Upon arrival, I discovered there was no breakfast option available.
