Comfortable

Hotel was very clean inside. Outside first view was disappointing. Grass needed cut and cleaned up. Parking lot was covered with pieces of wood (small branch pieces.) A good sweep would have made it look that much better. As far as the room, there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. The curtains on the windows don't close completely. No privacy from the street plus facing streetlights and cars all night long. Very noisy in room. Can hear the other guests from their rooms. Whenever the toilet in room above was flushed, it sounded like water was pouring into our room. Better soundproofing was needed. For an accessible room, a walk in shower would be much better than a tub. But the addition of a shower chair was nice. Breakfast was brought to hotel precooked and was gone early. They need more and freshcooked would have been much better. I will try a different place on my next trip to Goderich.

Well, I booked a pet friendly room. The room was not designed to be a pet friendly room then there was an extra $45 charge for a pet friendly room. None of that was said when I booked the room online then there was an extra $10 destination, marketing charge, which I think is nonsense. The heater/air-conditioning in the room was noisy as anything. Overall, my day was not happy. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Great stop for an overnight in Goderich. It was just a one-night stay, but we would come again for a longer stay.
