Beautiful area with lots of close by activities to do, and super close to Rocky Mountain National Park. We especially loved having access to the hot tub after our long hikes!

The Swiftcurrent Lodge exceeded my expectations. It's a perfect place to stay for a Rocky Mountain hiking trip. The river running in the back, the perfect size cottages, bbq and outdoor dining set-up, the location so close to the park entrance. All of it. Amazing. Loved it.

Very beautiful view of the river and the sound would put us to sleep at nights. No A/C but you don’t need it because the weather is so mild. We live in South Texas so we didn’t figure it would be that nice first of June.

We have stayed 3 times. The first and Third trips were difficult as they were upstairs units with 60 degree stair incline 16 stairs. The second trip was a cabin experience which was wonderful. My recent knee surgery made us check out of upstairs room. Just to painful. We stayed 7 nights of the 8 night stay.and forfeited Last day . The facility needs private handicapped parking. We also did not have River access or barbecue pit access. The balcony chairs were beach level chairs. Expensive stay with no amenities.

Swiftcurrent Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. I loved the the cozy room. The fire place was an excellent touch. The staff was friendly & welcoming. I enjoyed staying here more than the larger resorts I have stayed at.

Exceeded expectations. We had Cabin 10 right on the river. Enjoyed the hot tub and mornings outside with iur coffee and pastries freshly made next door. This location is excellent. Staff was awesome. Highly recommend.

We loved how quiet the area was. There were even homemade cinnamon rolls for the guests! Not a lot of frills, but definitely clean, convenient, and owners were friendly! Will stay there again!

Super clean. Owners were really nice. The walkway off the patio is literally 10ft from the river. Full kitchen. On the Beaver Meadows entrance side to RMNP (where all our favorite places are). We will be back.

The cottages are located right on the water. They are quiet, and clean in the perfect location…especially if you want quick access to RMNP or fishing spots. We will be back :)

What a wonderful hideaway as a base for 2 Brits abroad to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park! We have loved every aspect, from the cosy cabin, the humming birds on the back porch, being lulled to sleep by the beautiful river to the delicious gluten free muffins from the bakery, made specially! Thank you so much! Cath and Stephen

Swiftcurrent lodge was the best! Can’t wait to go back. The setting was exactly what I had hoped. Quiet property. I really appreciated sitting and relaxing near the water and the views of the Rocky Mountain National Park through the trees were gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. Good quality dishes, and supplies available. Seemed to have fresh paint and a recent remodel. It was a Best Friend trip. We came without a vehicle and the summer free shuttle picked us up right out front. Was no problem for us not to have a car. Estes park FREE summer shuttle system perfectly clean and on time. The spice rack coffee and French pastries next-door was unexpected and amazing. Definitely go to Bird and Jim’s for dinner and Stanley hotel for cocktails (if that’s your thing) And if you’re looking for some tattoo artistry, we loved RedRum.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was spacious with all the comforts of home! It was very relaxing listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds! Having a pastry/spice shop next door was an added bonus! The pastries were delicious!

The weather didn't cooperate which of course was not the property's fault. The bed was not very comfortable for me, a bit too firm, so it was tough for me to sleep well. Other than that, it was a great place with good people. We had an amazing trip and this beautiful property was warm & cozy.

The cottages are located right on the water. They are quiet, and clean in the perfect location…especially if you want quick access to RMNP or fishing spots. We will be back :)

Our stay was wonderful! The room was spacious with all the comforts of home! It was very relaxing listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds! Having a pastry/spice shop next door was an added bonus! The pastries were delicious!

Great place with walking distance trails. Very close to everything and serene. The owners are wonderful, and understanding if you need to check in earlier.

What a beautiful stay along the river. The cottage was comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything we needed, and the location is perfect for exploring the park and town. The bakery next door is not to be missed!

Exceeded expectations. We had Cabin 10 right on the river. Enjoyed the hot tub and mornings outside with iur coffee and pastries freshly made next door. This location is excellent. Staff was awesome. Highly recommend.

We loved how quiet the area was. There were even homemade cinnamon rolls for the guests! Not a lot of frills, but definitely clean, convenient, and owners were friendly! Will stay there again!

What a wonderful hideaway as a base for 2 Brits abroad to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park! We have loved every aspect, from the cosy cabin, the humming birds on the back porch, being lulled to sleep by the beautiful river to the delicious gluten free muffins from the bakery, made specially! Thank you so much! Cath and Stephen

Swiftcurrent lodge was the best! Can’t wait to go back. The setting was exactly what I had hoped. Quiet property. I really appreciated sitting and relaxing near the water and the views of the Rocky Mountain National Park through the trees were gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. Good quality dishes, and supplies available. Seemed to have fresh paint and a recent remodel. It was a Best Friend trip. We came without a vehicle and the summer free shuttle picked us up right out front. Was no problem for us not to have a car. Estes park FREE summer shuttle system perfectly clean and on time. The spice rack coffee and French pastries next-door was unexpected and amazing. Really enjoyed the proximity to the Big Thompson river and the relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed our room, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchenette turned out to be very handy. Had fun watching turkeys every morning right across the river.

All worked out. Initially there wasn't anyone at office to check us in. They said they contacted us by phone,but we didn't receive. I think if we would have received the message, there wouldn't have been an issue upon our arrival. Once checked in, all was good Very close to RMNP and to the town of Estes Park. Very pleasant setting with stream and Aspen trees. Would stay again and would certainly recommend to others.
