This is the worst vacation I have ever had in in a Jamaican hotel. It certainly felt the US "Jim Crow" era; this hotel should be branded FOREIGNERS ONLY. Foreigners get welcoming smiles, and prompt service while locals receive long faces,and aggression. It has gotten worse since my review of the property back in 2023 -the 3rd of my 4 stays. Thanks to the 2 bellhops, Mardienne of Red Snapper and Jeremy in Martha's Market for making us feel like paying guests than squatters. SAD: 4 people! Not even a welcome drink like RIU. The hotel was overbooked so instead of our requested 2 queen beds (3 adults inc a 13yr old), we were to be temporarily placed in a rooftop Junior Suite with 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed as the "UPGRADE". It was soon obvious the room was neither saleable (rooftop in disarray) nor cleaned for months as a HUGE CROAKING LIZARD lived there, thick layer of dust on the phone, headboard and other furniture, a stained table, no chairs, rubbish bin or shower mat and only 2 wash rags for 3 guests. Despite REPEAT calls, we got 3 wash rags when housekeeping tidied room the next day. Instead of the hassle of moving, we advised Front Desk that we will stay but on the 3rd day, we had to call Housekeeping at 4pm to clean our room without re-stocking the fridge. Appears Room 2532 is blacklisted and used by staff. During Covid, locals like us kept these hotels afloat and now, we are soiling their property. This is definitely my LAST visit. Be warned domestic travellers!

Great place to stay with family or without. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. You can relax and party at the same time. The restaurants all had good food as well.
