I loved the different “public shared” areas the property offered. I was traveling alone - but would totally have loved sharing those spaces with other travelers and meeting new people. It was so convenient to walking everywhere I needed to go - the beach, the grocery store, the restaurants and shopping!! Each room also had a private outside area to enjoy - I was able to do Yoga in the morning and enjoy a Wisconsin Happy Hour and read a book in the evening after a day at the Beach - then head to a bar for dinner and live Music😊Access to the full kitchen was perfect and the Wisconsin gal running the place made me feel right at home!

For me, the stepping stones and then another set of steps to the main floor were horrendous. An accident ready to happen.There was no one to help me with my luggage. Had to park across the street which added to the time and stress on my poor legs. For this reason, I will have to think twice booking a stay there again. Most of the stay was ok. Quaint room with antique furnishings. Shower was the best.Great location. Can walk anywhere and leave the car at the$10.00 parking lot.

Our second stay here. We love it. Great location. Super friendly and relaxing. Has beach towels. Bikes. Chairs and things for guest to use. Golf cart rentals across the street. King suite bathroom was epic

Beachside Boutique was fabulous! Not only was it adorable, they also provided sunscreen, towels and bikes! The breakfast options were fresh and plentiful. We will definitely visit again!

Awesome location, easily walk to everything. Continental breakfast was outstanding. They really think of every detail. Parking isn’t provided for some rooms and on busy days can be hard to find but it’s a beautiful walk and area.

We keep coming back to this Folly Beach oasis. Laura and the entire team - including the dog Wringley - are wonderful! All amenities are exceptional. We especially appreciate the common areas and the materials that’s available like the beach chairs and the bikes. Breakfast is generous. It’s perfectly located near the beach and all activities.

The room and house were fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a challenge, Beachside utilizes a parking lot across the street which also fills up. Beachside was close to Folly Beach and downtown which was very nice. The walkway to get into Beachside was difficult, steps were uneven and railing was low and unstable.

Fun, friendly and funky like Folly Beach itself. The staff, including the pooch Wrigley set this place apart from your run of the mill hotel. And breakfast, beach chairs and bicycles are a bonus. We stayed in the Costa Rican Bungalow and am looking forward to trying their other eclectic offerings. Highly recommend!

Pros: So much character, Very cozy and perfect for two people. Perfect location to everything and close to the beach. Common area is great for just relaxing and talking with people. Staff is also wonder. Cons: Some areas in the bathroom you can tell were not cleaned very well, some of the old boards have nails sticking up.

The common areas are really cozy and cute however, the stairs entering the property are unleveled and uneven which is an accident waiting to happen. My husband and I stood in the Annie room which was very small. The bathroom did not have a door but it did have a curtain. The queen size bed caved in the middle which made it very uncomfortable and extremely hard to remain asleep. The Wifi was horrible. I was told by the desk attendant that they just installed a new system prior to our stay but apparently the new system did not prevent the Wifi from constantly crashing which made it very difficult to watch any shows on basic t.v and you could forget about watching the Hulu and Netflix because it didn't work at all. Other then that, the common areas and room was clean and the location to all was definitely a plus. Just make sure you get there early enough to find parking because it can be very difficult to find.

My Daughter and I made a last minute reservation and our stay was perfect! The property is unique and has so much character. The room was clean and cozy. We had a wonderful check in experience with Laura and we will definitely stay there again.

Cute spot! We loved staying here for many reasons. The location is great, the King room was beautiful and the hosts kindly left out breakfast and snacks. The only inconvenience was not great wifi availability and there is no easy parking that’s free unless you move your car at 6am.

Cute & quirky. Front stone steps could be a problem for those with mobility issues. Great dog and check-in. Bed in Annie Room was very uncomfortable unfortunately. We both woke with bad back aches. Probably wouldn't stay here again for this reason only.

The Prince suite that we stayed in was beside the kitchen so we heard every time someone came in and you can hear other people that are in the main house if they are loud!! Not blaming the place but the people that stayed in there with us that don’t care about being quiet for others!! But everything else was spot on and would probably stay there again! I would get one of there outside houses, but if you need a place to crash all rooms would work for you!! Overall I would 4-5 stars!

Bohemian retro chic. Quirky fun functional layout of rooms with their own patios and outdoor access, super great with for dogs, and for simple access to beach. Rooms are tiny but the private balcony/deck makes it work, plus, your own microwave and mini fridge. Decor, furnishings, art all over, plus great welcome dog in the living area/lobby/breakfast room. I’ll be back.

Place is perfectly located and even though parking isn’t included we found a spot easily during the week. What isn’t mentioned is how close the rooms are and our didn’t have door for the bathroom just a curtain. We didn’t like being so close to the kitchen and common area but not as loud as we thought it would be. The variety of food at breakfast was appreciated along with the availability of snacks left out.

Best place to stay in Folly!!! I love the staff so much. Laura is amazing, so friendly and helpful if you need anything at all. The best part for us was Wrigley. He’s the sweetest dog ever and he loves having visitors. We will definitely stay here again. Will recommend to everyone!
Best place to stay in Folly!!! I love the staff so much. Laura is amazing, so friendly and helpful if you need anything at all. The best part for us was Wrigley. He’s the sweetest dog ever and he loves having visitors. We will definitely stay here again. Will recommend to everyone!

This is a great little boutique hotel with just a few rooms. The resident dog is the best part -Wrigley is the most handsome love bug! The couple that runs the place are very personable and attentive. It’s a fantastic location and surprisingly quiet.

This property exceeded our expectations and offered everything we needed. Laura and Wrigley greeted us warmly and communicated professionally well in advance of our arrival. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful ! I highly recommend this property. A nice change from the impersonal options of hotels or other choices.

We had such an amazing stay! This is in the perfect location—just steps from the beach and so close to great food spots. The space itself is absolutely adorable, cozy, and welcoming. Everyone we met was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. And of course, meeting Rigley the dog was the highlight—such a sweet addition that made it feel like home. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Very unique property. Fun, quirky themes to each room or bungalow. Very chill laid back vibes. Food, drink, souvenirs, convenience/grocery, alcohol all within easy walking distance. Beach access just behind the property. Great location! Folly Beach is an excellent area to get away to. We highly recommend staying at the Beachside Boutique Inn. The Costa Rican Bungalow is fantastic. We will definitely be back here in the future.

This was the best vacation my husband and I have had at the beach. The staff was so kind and helpful. The place was peaceful and close to the beach. The Folly Beach area was beautiful and there was so much to do. We will be back!

This place exudes the character and charm of Folly Beach. And it is right in the heart of the small downtown area, so you can walk to the beach, the shops, restaurants, and conveniences. Having beach chairs and bikes readily available here at the Inn is handy, and you can rent a golf cart just across the street to explore the little town if you would like.

What a delightful place to stay at Folly Beach! Close to Center Street so an easy walk to restaurants and the beach. We loved our interactions with Laura and her dog Wrigley made our stay perfect! We came for the New Years Eve Flipflop drop! We will be back!

Awesome location, easily walk to everything. Continental breakfast was outstanding. They really think of every detail. Parking isn’t provided for some rooms and on busy days can be hard to find but it’s a beautiful walk and area.

We keep coming back to this Folly Beach oasis. Laura and the entire team - including the dog Wringley - are wonderful! All amenities are exceptional. We especially appreciate the common areas and the materials that’s available like the beach chairs and the bikes. Breakfast is generous. It’s perfectly located near the beach and all activities.

my husband and I booked a 1 night stay here last minute for a friends wedding, and we were so pleased! We had to check in after office hours and Laura was so accommodating. The room was clean, had wifi, and a tv. This place is in the perfect location and walking distance to everything in Folly. They had breakfast the next morning with so many options and it was so nice not to have to hunt for food and be able to just walk out of the room and make a coffee! We will def stay here again if we are ever in the area and will recommend to friends and family!

Check in was so friendly! Laura greeted me and I felt genuinely welcomed! The room I stayed in is adorable! The property is close to the beach, pier, restaurants and bars. Music is played around town often, at various venues. All of this was walking distance!! The place is funky fun!! Great common areas to gather and meet other travelers! The breakfast was lovely and most appreciated! Thank you!!

No parking for starters. As for the room, it's misleading. I can't climb stairs to get to the top bunk. I'm not interested in pulling a bed from the wall to sleep in. This is for younger adults. Maybe a different location next time.

This was the cutest bed and breakfast and we had the absolute best time. The managers were super attentive and kind. This place is steps from the beach and the Main Street. There were beach chairs, towels and even sunscreens for guests so they didn’t need to bring their own all the way from where they were coming from. The best part was Wrigley, the host dog! Staying here has definitely made me want to be a regular visitor and will be coming back for sure!

Laura was a delight and very hospitable. Wrigley, the house dog, is simply one of the best dogs EVER!!! If you book through Expedia be sure to contact the boutique directly for check-in instructions. It'll be easier then finding them hidden in your confirmation email. Definitely plan to be back!
