We would definitely stay here again. Very clean and quiet. Once you park your car you don’t need to drive again. Close to shopping, restaurants, and a very short walk to the beach. I love that they provided beach chairs!

Though we did things in Tampa, St. Pete, and Tarpon Springs we won't leave Pass a Grille the next time we come, everything is right there.Please keep historic Pass a Grille just as it is.

Quiet, quaint hotel in the heart of Pass-a-grille - you can walk anywhere. Perfect views of the ocean & sunrise from our unit. Unit was spacious, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was small but didn’t spend much time in there anyways. Great communication from property management team.

Walls thin and noise is a barrier to sleep( depending on your neighbor). Smoke alarm chirped for 2 hours. Neighbors were noisy most of the night (2 of the 3 nights). Tenants smoking on porch outside of our door( number 5). Took at least a minute and one half to get hot water - a big waste of water. I reported 2 issues and got no response. The unit was very clean. Location is great.

I have come to Pass-a-Grill every few years for about 20 years and stayed at many places in the area. This was by far the smallest place with the highest price. They reached out at 4:45 pm the day before requesting information to let me check in. They woke me up the second morning with no notice asking me to move my car. The shades on the windows do not block out sunlight. The kitchen is not big enough to have space for a drying rack for dishes. The bathroom is too small to keep from banging your head on the vanity. I have come to Pass-a-Grill every few years for about 20 years and stayed at many places in the area. This was by far the smallest place with the highest price. They reached out at 4:45 pm the day before requesting information to let me check in. They woke me up the second morning with no notice asking me to move my car. The shades on the windows do not block out sunlight. The kitchen is not big enough to have space for a drying rack for dishes. The bathroom is too small to keep from banging your head on the vanity. Loved it! It was tranquil and peaceful, cute and modern and location was a plus. Stores and restaurants in neighborhood were friendly. Walls thin and noise is a barrier to sleep( depending on your neighbor). Smoke alarm chirped for 2 hours. Neighbors were noisy most of the night (2 of the 3 nights). Tenants smoking on porch outside of our door( number 5). Took at least a minute and one half to get hot water - a big waste of water. I reported 2 issues and got no response. The unit was very clean. Location is great.

Great room, very welcoming decor. All the locations were very accessible. The bonus was the bikes downstairs in well maintained condition. Loved the stay. I did not see any staff until I checked out on 12/28/25 @10:30. But I did not have any problems following directions. They were well written. Can't comment due to the staff was on Christmas break.

The room reserved at La Tortuga was not available when we arrived. There was no communication from the property management company and we were left to find another hotel on our own. Hotels.com did grant us a refund but did not help us find a new hotel for our stay.

I would recommend this hotel primarily for the location, proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. And the pool was nice. On the down side, the tub drain was clogged with hair (yuck) and the washing machine didn’t work so we had to take our dirty laundry to a laundromat (not ideal). We also had to constantly empty a dehumidifier. The bathroom was quite small. The interior was nothing special.

A six page contract with a ton of strict rules can’t move furniture, can’t touch tv, can’t leave sand in any place, leave a/c at 78 degrees etc etc., all these subject to fines. My a/c was pouring water all night and was fixed next morning. There is nobody at the hotel you can reach, that’s why everything is virtual. I don’t recommend it if you are looking for a relax vacation.
