Le Château de la Villedubois is a very special place! It is not a hotel… but really, it’s so much more. The owners are lovely, friendly and very helpful. They are custodians of a rich history and have renovated their family home with integrity and wonderful taste! You will need your car to get around. It is very private and the rooms are truly spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast offered was perfect. There are quite a few very good restaurants within a 10 mns drive on the outskirts of Rennes. My wife, our 16 months old daughter and I, had a truly great experience. It was like stepping back in time and it allowed us to breath for a couple of days. I will recommend Le Chateau de la Villedubois to any friend on a road trip to Western France or Brittany specifically.

Quel endroit magique. Accueil excellent par une maîtresse de maison qui aile les gens, c'est indéniable. Nous avons même pu voir quelques chevreuils dans le parc le matin. De plus, l'histoire de ce lieu est belle. N'hésitez pas.

Mitten in einem großen Schlosspark liegt dieses wunderschöne Schloss. Es wurde innen aufwändig und liebevoll restauriert mit wunderschönen Tapeten und Wandbespannungen im Zimmer. Der Schlossherr hat uns selbst durch alle Räume geführt, die man auch bewohnen durfte. Das Ambiente war wirklich einzigartig !
