We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at Kayon Valley. The staff were all very attentive (we’d seen previous reviews mentioning being badgered by staff at breakfast about plans for the day with a ‘salesy’ slant but we found this not to be the case). Staff just wanted the guests to know what the hotel itself and surrounding area had to offer (free guided walks/free shuttles to and from Ubud centre, spa treatments, local attractions etc). We did not find it pushy (but can understand that others might) but clearly something the hotel management had instilled in its staff. Perhaps this could be eased off a little. Other than some very minor picky points (nowhere to hang hand towels, interior hall light switch being on the outside of the room, annoying bonfires making it untenable to enjoy the balcony at times) it was very well done. The safe in our room didn’t work but once we reported it, that was quickly remedied. The food was excellent, the monkeys that visit most mornings were cheeky and the welcome was very hospitable. They chime a gong when new guests arrive which is a nice touch. Great entertainment with local dances and a very talented duo of keyboard and vocals. If we’re back in Ubud, we’ll certainly stay here again.

I absolutely LOVEDDDDDD our stay here. We stayed at Deluxe villa. Staff are all kind and friendly, The rooms are spacious. The main pool was super clean, well maintained and empty most of the time, deep enough (150cm)for a serious swimmers. I rarely ran into people in the resort except dinner time. Anyone who's finding a secluded spot this is perfect resort. Definitely coming back.

After weeks of research, my husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The reviews gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but none of them truly captured the experience. The Kayon is a blend of breathtaking scenery, serenity, warm energy, and genuinely attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink and a thoughtful overview of the amenities—shuttles to Ubud Center and their sister property, Kayon Jungle; daily walks; yoga classes; guided tours; nightly performances; an incredible breakfast; and so much more. When we reached our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a small honeymoon cake. The room itself was perfect for two, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub overlooking our private infinity pool, also decorated for the occasion. The outdoor area became our favorite place to unwind, nap, or simply take in the view. Although our room was located at the bottom of a small hill, we could request a golf cart at any time to take us anywhere on the property. We enjoyed breakfast, poolside lunches, dinners, spa treatments, and a hotel-organized tour—each experience felt unique and memorable. The property is stunning, but what truly elevates this hotel is its people. The staff made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for during every moment of our stay. We stayed at the Kayon resort when we first arrived in Bali. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was lovely and the view on the jungle was great. Breakfast is also amazing, one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel before. They have a shuttle avalaible to the centre of Ubud which is helpful. Overall would love to come back again.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir hatten eine Pool Villa, das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos, tolle Aussicht ins Valley und wir hatten regelmäßig Besuch einer Affen Familie, obwohl das Hotel so ruhig liegt sind es mit dem Transfer nur ca. 10 min. In die Innenstadt, zu Fuss ca. 40 min. Allerdings an einer stark befahren Straße deshalb nicht zu empfehlen Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen

Hotel a modo de lodge situado en medio de la jungla y rodeado de naturaleza por todas partes. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a la selva y una pequeña piscina en la terraza. Todo es amplio y cómodo, y los productos de baño, buenos. La carta del restaurante, tanto para el desayuno como para el resto de las comidas, es muy variada y todo lo que probamos estaba bastante bueno. Ofrecen transporte gratis al pueblo y al otro hotel de la cadena o te proporcionan fácilmente servicios de traslado a precios aceptables.

We loved how all staff got to know us and created a unique experience. The chef made gluten free meals, which was amazing. The rooms were well maintained and we loved the private pool. They helped us in going to a medical Center and organised transport, we can’t thank them enough.

My wife and I stayed at Kayon Valley Ubud for five nights for our honeymoon, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely spectacular. Every single request we made, whether it was food, amenities, or anything else, was taken care of without hesitation. The staff went above and beyond in every way. They even upgraded our room to a valley view, which was unbelievable. Waking up every morning to that view was something special. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt like a peaceful retreat. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It felt like they truly cared about making our stay memorable. We had monkeys visiting us by the pool, which added to the whole feeling of being surrounded by nature. I absolutely LOVEDDDDDD our stay here. We stayed at Deluxe villa. Staff are all kind and friendly, The rooms are spacious. The main pool was super clean, well maintained and empty most of the time, deep enough (150cm)for a serious swimmers. I rarely ran into people in the resort except dinner time. Anyone who's finding a secluded spot this is perfect resort. Definitely coming back.

After weeks of research, my husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The reviews gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but none of them truly captured the experience. The Kayon is a blend of breathtaking scenery, serenity, warm energy, and genuinely attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink and a thoughtful overview of the amenities—shuttles to Ubud Center and their sister property, Kayon Jungle; daily walks; yoga classes; guided tours; nightly performances; an incredible breakfast; and so much more. When we reached our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a small honeymoon cake. The room itself was perfect for two, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub overlooking our private infinity pool, also decorated for the occasion. The outdoor area became our favorite place to unwind, nap, or simply take in the view. Although our room was located at the bottom of a small hill, we could request a golf cart at any time to take us anywhere on the property. We enjoyed breakfast, poolside lunches, dinners, spa treatments, and a hotel-organized tour—each experience felt unique and memorable. The property is stunning, but what truly elevates this hotel is its people. The staff made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for during every moment of our stay. We stayed at the Kayon resort when we first arrived in Bali. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was lovely and the view on the jungle was great. Breakfast is also amazing, one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel before. They have a shuttle avalaible to the centre of Ubud which is helpful. Overall would love to come back again.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir hatten eine Pool Villa, das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos, tolle Aussicht ins Valley und wir hatten regelmäßig Besuch einer Affen Familie, obwohl das Hotel so ruhig liegt sind es mit dem Transfer nur ca. 10 min. In die Innenstadt, zu Fuss ca. 40 min. Allerdings an einer stark befahren Straße deshalb nicht zu empfehlen Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen

This hotel lived up to all of our expectations. Gorgeous interior, stunning, lush surroundings, peaceful atmosphere. The staff was fantastic through and through but Indah made a lasting impression. We cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved how all staff got to know us and created a unique experience. The chef made gluten free meals, which was amazing. The rooms were well maintained and we loved the private pool. They helped us in going to a medical Center and organised transport, we can’t thank them enough.

We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at Kayon Valley. The staff were all very attentive (we’d seen previous reviews mentioning being badgered by staff at breakfast about plans for the day with a ‘salesy’ slant but we found this not to be the case). Staff just wanted the guests to know what the hotel itself and surrounding area had to offer (free guided walks/free shuttles to and from Ubud centre, spa treatments, local attractions etc). We did not find it pushy (but can understand that others might) but clearly something the hotel management had instilled in its staff. Perhaps this could be eased off a little. Other than some very minor picky points (nowhere to hang hand towels, interior hall light switch being on the outside of the room, annoying bonfires making it untenable to enjoy the balcony at times) it was very well done. The safe in our room didn’t work but once we reported it, that was quickly remedied. The food was excellent, the monkeys that visit most mornings were cheeky and the welcome was very hospitable. They chime a gong when new guests arrive which is a nice touch. Great entertainment with local dances and a very talented duo of keyboard and vocals. If we’re back in Ubud, we’ll certainly stay here again.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir hatten eine Pool Villa, das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos, tolle Aussicht ins Valley und wir hatten regelmäßig Besuch einer Affen Familie, obwohl das Hotel so ruhig liegt sind es mit dem Transfer nur ca. 10 min. In die Innenstadt, zu Fuss ca. 40 min. Allerdings an einer stark befahren Straße deshalb nicht zu empfehlen Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen

We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at Kayon Valley. The staff were all very attentive (we’d seen previous reviews mentioning being badgered by staff at breakfast about plans for the day with a ‘salesy’ slant but we found this not to be the case). Staff just wanted the guests to know what the hotel itself and surrounding area had to offer (free guided walks/free shuttles to and from Ubud centre, spa treatments, local attractions etc). We did not find it pushy (but can understand that others might) but clearly something the hotel management had instilled in its staff. Perhaps this could be eased off a little. Other than some very minor picky points (nowhere to hang hand towels, interior hall light switch being on the outside of the room, annoying bonfires making it untenable to enjoy the balcony at times) it was very well done. The safe in our room didn’t work but once we reported it, that was quickly remedied. The food was excellent, the monkeys that visit most mornings were cheeky and the welcome was very hospitable. They chime a gong when new guests arrive which is a nice touch. Great entertainment with local dances and a very talented duo of keyboard and vocals. If we’re back in Ubud, we’ll certainly stay here again.

We stayed at the Kayon resort when we first arrived in Bali. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was lovely and the view on the jungle was great. Breakfast is also amazing, one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel before. They have a shuttle avalaible to the centre of Ubud which is helpful. Overall would love to come back again.

Hotel a modo de lodge situado en medio de la jungla y rodeado de naturaleza por todas partes. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a la selva y una pequeña piscina en la terraza. Todo es amplio y cómodo, y los productos de baño, buenos. La carta del restaurante, tanto para el desayuno como para el resto de las comidas, es muy variada y todo lo que probamos estaba bastante bueno. Ofrecen transporte gratis al pueblo y al otro hotel de la cadena o te proporcionan fácilmente servicios de traslado a precios aceptables.

We loved how all staff got to know us and created a unique experience. The chef made gluten free meals, which was amazing. The rooms were well maintained and we loved the private pool. They helped us in going to a medical Center and organised transport, we can’t thank them enough.

A really good stay! Room was delightful (i was in 301 - i think probably the best pool... truly fantastic!). Breakfast was good - for the price of the room, i think fresh juice should be included (as it is in other 5 star hotels). The range of options was good. Having to pay for water at breakfast also was not great. This should be included. Turn down service was provided upon request. I would come back, but given other 5 star stays I have had in Bali, i would choose those options first. Not having to ask/request services is top of that reasoning.
