Ivy Street 7, Playa Dicky

The house area was perfect for our needs. However it was very disappointing to have travelled all day to arrive at the house and have to make our beds and then strip them before leaving, this was not explained in the original advertising. No dishwasher tablets provided, 1 garbage bag in the kitchen, a tiny amount of dishwashing liquid 2 rolls of toilet paper. Other B an B's we have stayed in both here and in New Zealand have provided all this and more, we have never had to make our beds on arrival or remove bedding when leaving. The Real Estate was not easy to contact at all, and was extremely slow in returning emails or phone calls. Check in process was not clear and 2 other families had similar issues when we went to pick up keys. I had asked for early check in and was put off and then it was forgotten about. We will not be using this Real estate again if it connected to B and B's in this area.

We had a fantastic time, perfect for 4 adults and kids, lots of space and the pool was a hit for our 6, 10 & 12 year old. The trolley was very helpful getting to the beach every day. Dicky beach is beautiful with a nice small row of shops nearby. Everything was perfect other than the beds weren't made even though linen is provided and no hand soap provided. The keys to the house are in Caloundra which wasn't ideal either. Otherwise I would have given all 5 stars.. thanks for a fantastic stay

The pool was spectacular. Great beach and shops within 10 minute walking distance. Would recommend this place to anyone. Two families stayed comfortabl, kitchen was well equipped, best ever in a stayz place

Property was amazing, really nice space, upstairs living/dining/kitchen with 2 double rooms and 1 twin, downstairs has the big en-suite and second living room area. Property was clean, all utensils etc available, games/books etc for the kids which was fantastic. We didn’t use the pool as it was cold and with no shallow end the kids weren’t able to go in alone, but the play area was ideal for our 3 and 6 year old. Thank you so much!

The property was well sized, extremely clean, large and comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 large bedroom downstairs. My only feedback to the owner is to leave a cloth for dishes and a small soap, shampoo and conditioner. And perhaps some local tourist information, map, restaurant menus etc Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, thank you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
