Good location

Comfortable but tired property. Long haul walk up to the apartment after a days’ skiing. Needs scrubbing up to justify the price. Upgrading the $10 shower head would be a big plus . Bathroom amenities like washing products could be a bit more generous. Struggled to use streaming services due to provider blocks . Windows need a good clean. Everything else satisfactory .

Fountains 3 was well presented, clean, warm with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped - able to cook a lovely dinner. Narelle was a great host - great communicator. I appreciated all the info prior to our stay. Would like to stay in the winter!

We did not in fact stay for the 4 nights that we had booked. We arrived at the rundown building which housed the apartment, opened the front door, perused the rooms on the three different levels with bitter disappointment, walked out and sought alternative accommodation - singularly difficult at such short notice - and, of course, at additional expense. The information and photographs were entirely misleading. And I should have been alerted by the lone half-sentence review for this property. By no stretch of the imagination could this property be described as “light and spacious” and, with some of the blinds being in a state of disrepair combined with the filthy windows, it was indeed the opposite - dark and dismal. The bunk room on the lowest level with a broken blind which could not be raised, a dungeon. I have no idea when the apparent renovations occurred but I should imagine some years ago. I did inform the owner of our disappointment and subsequent rental of another property without having stayed in hers, but there was no response. Absolutely zero stars for value for money and it annoyed me that I had to even give one star for other categories. I am seldom moved to write negative reviews - I’d rather just forget a bad experience but in this case I feel compelled to warn others. If my credibility as a guest is in doubt, please refer to my 5-star rating on your website.
