This is an old building right in the centre of town. Across the road from a big park and the main bus/coach stop. Handy to all shops and restaurants in Cooma and the gaol and museum. The property is not 4 star but it is clean and tidy, very quiet and has car parking at the rear which is very handy. Great for a 1 night stopover. There is no elevator so only book if you can walk the stairs.

Great value accommodation for the budget-conscious particularly in peak snow season, when similar accommodation in Jindabyne costs multiples more. Appreciated the public kitchenette with sink, cutlery, full-size fridge and microwave, which made it easy to prepare and heat up pre-made food.

The property was old but in good condition. You had everything that you needed provided. e.g towels, toiletries etc. If you needed housekeeping it was available. The property was very clean, neat and tidy. The property was also situated in the middle of the shopping centre, so it was easy to get to where you wanted to go and parking was safe and secure. The owner was very very helpful and seemed to be a very nice person. I would defiantly book my stay there again.

I think people need to know that there are a lot of stairs to carry your luggage up .It is very basic but clean could have thicker towels and another blanket . But it wasn’t as expensive as other motels in Cooma in winter. Good parking around the back but could only use the front doo. Needs a reception area .

An interesting stay - obviously an older building recently refurbished. Stairs to negotiate, odd decor but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean - for a couple of nights, what else do you need? Very convenient and walking distance to Cooma shopping centre for dinner at the pub or whatever you need.

Norman was a great host. The property is centrally located in Cooma town with access to all amenities. The property provided tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and towels. Has a common area with a small kitchen toaster, fridge and basic utensils. Rooms are clean and warm and cozy specially for winter. The reverse cycle air con keeps the rooms warm in winter.

This room was advertised as Deluxe - no way. Room is very small. Had to put suitcase on chair and then there is no way you can walk around the bed. Shower head was hanging off, and husband had to fix before he could use it. Towels were not on bed as normal, but did find them tucked away in cupboard. Room was clean but very tired and in bad need of renovating. Could hear people moving around in other rooms, so walls must be very thin. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable.

Beds are comfortable and clean, but the rooms are decades overdue for a refurb, fibreglass showers similair to that you would see in an old cabin, a down light plugged into a PowerPoint is your bathroom light, floors are creaky and noisy. Value for money is not there at nearly $200 per night.

I was surprised that the hotel is in a former Chinese restaurant, with a corridor of rooms upstairs. Mine was large, clean and with an ensuite that had been refreshed at some point. For this price, I'd expect some stuff to be broken (e.g. cracked sink) but it wasn't. Having a sort of kitchen at the end of the corridor was good. The fit out is not particularly good, but the owners have clearly made an effort to provide somewhere comfortable at a reasonable price. However, the claim that there is an indoor pool is wrong (public one over the road) and I inferred 'grounds' which are the park over the road. My room looked out over a noisy servo and the heavy trucks rolled by from no later than 0400. The 24 hour staff is only true in that they answer the phone and are helpful - I think the reception service is in Canberra, not Cooma. Don't be put off - the place is fine - but it is basic, tired and requires an open mind.

We had a clean room with the basics which is what we required for one night. Very pleased with the service. The manager let us stay until midday, due to car trouble. We would certainly consider staying there again. Thank you.

We arrived late and the manager talked us through how to get in and was super helpful as he had preheated our room. Basic kind accommodation but worth what you pay for. We would stay again enroute to the snow. ❄️

A very restful stay. A central location with big park, and plenty of eateries. Desk staff, while not initially available at checkin time, once arrived were very friendly and accommodating. Had to phone them at locked front door to get in.

The owner/manager couldn’t do enough for us, asked to check out half hour later without a problem. Reasonably priced clean and tidy. It’s not modern but has everything you need, nice shower, kettle for a cuppa, fridge, , air conditioning and comfortable bed. I really recommend this accommodations.

Very poor experience. When reached at motel at around 5pm, we were told no rooms are available as our room was double booked and already alloted. We were told no other rooms are available except one room where toilet is outside the room. This has caused huge inconvenience.

Everything was great, but it would be useful to have a brochure in the room which let us know where the kitchen facilities were. We had to ask staff when they appeared. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay.

Parking was good once i realised the little laneway was the entrance. Excellent value for the price. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants

The property is extremely dated and in need of renovations and some much needed TLC. Basic renovations are required like painting, walls patched and a new make over. We only had 2 minutes of hot water. Rooms are probably 70 years old and not renovated in this time. Curtains old, dirty, and tired. Room not welcoming. I guess it would be perfect for people going to snow fields during the day and coming back late at night. The price of the room was good

Its basic accomodation but all i needed for an overnight stay on way from Victoria to Sydney. It was clean and warm with parking and a private bathroom. Check in was easy and everything easy to find. I would stay again.
