Ayana Beach House - Pet Friendly - Opposite Beach

We loved being across the road from the beach. House is spacious, secure for the dog, quiet area, and really well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Fireplace was so nice to have when the weather turned a bit cool

The location of the house is spectacular. Directly across from a beautiful beach that accommodates dogs. The house looks nice as you approach the property and is a very interesting layout with the living and sleeping areas separated by a large covered timber deck. The equally large deck at the front of the property that overlooks the beach is also a great space. The fireplace sits proud in the living space and is a great winter touch. BBQ provided was also clean and good quality. The property does lack some attention to detail however which was disappointing. Overall cleanliness was a little off standard like bathroom tiles and kitchen cupboard handles that were full of cooking leftovers from a few recent guests by the look of it. The stove also didn’t have any exhaust or ventilation which made the entire living area smell strongly after cooking any meal. This also meant no direct lighting over the bench tops which makes food prep at night hard. Many of the outside lights either didn’t work or there were so many light switches, many don’t appear to function, which made outside night use of the areas difficult. The front deck area lacked furniture to make the space useful, only a single bench seat/day bed, aside from a few worn and broken chairs. No where near enough seating to accomodate guests or use the space as intended. When we arrived at the property, the front door was unlocked and the TV on and very loud. Overall, a pleasant stay that could be delightful.

Our 3 night stay here was just lovely… the house was exactly as pictured. The kids loved having their own space during the day in the sleeping pavilion and playing with all the toys. The yard was secure for our dog and the fireplace was exactly what we needed on the cold nights. We will come back here again!

Stayed for a work trip and loved the house. Beautiful location on the beach and fantastic design. Next time will bring the kids.

Lovely place to stay opposite beach. Incredibly well equipped. Beautiful 2 sided fireplace which was handy with all the rain. Only downfall was no gas fir bbq and only one light working on back deck so bbq was not possible. Would definitely recommend this place for families with children. Lovely stay.
