Jättebra hotell!! Vilken service!😍 Vi blev körda till receptionen och rummet, fick inte bära våra väskor och levde verkligen i lyx. Hotellet låg nära stranden och var väldigt fint boende och poolområde. Ett väldigt trevligt hotell och rekommenderar verkligen att ha tillgång till poolen direkt i anslutning till rummet som vi hade. Var även en härlig poolbar.

Wir haben uns im Island Escape auf Coconut Island sehr wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer mit Poolaccess war komfortabel und geräumig. Alles modern und sehr designorientiert Ein Manko ist leider der fehlende Kleiderschrank, so dass man gezwungen ist, aus dem Koffer zu leben. In der Dusche gab es keine Möglichkeit, Handtücher aufzuhängen. Toilette und Dusche waren separate Räume, was wir als positiv empfanden. Das Waschbecken befand sich im Schlafraum. Die weitläufige Hotelanlage ( für Fußfaule gibt es einen Shuttleservice) ist schön angelegt und bietet viel Schatten. Schöner Strand mit vielen Bäumen und natürlichem Schatten. Der Pool am Strand ist auch schön, wurde von uns aber wegen des Poolaccesszimmers kaum genutzt. Lobend zu erwähnen ist die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet.

Preis-Leistung steht hier leider in keinem Verhältnis, sowohl die Anlage, als auch die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließen zu wünschen übrig. Kosten für Massagen, Getränke etc. waren sehr hoch im Vergleich zu anderen 5 Sterne Anlagen. Das inkludierte Frühstück hingegen war sehr gut und vielfältig. Die Insel Coconut Island ist eher für Personen zu empfehlen, die sich nur im Hotel aufhalten möchten, nicht jedoch für Unternehmungen. Insgesamt leider keine 5 Sterne wert (Schimmel in der Dusche, braune Pools - den Bildern zu entnehmen).

The hotel facilities at the pool are really dirty. Also, the pick-up didn’t work well. We had to wait long several times to get from our hotel room to the lobby (40 min waiting). Last but not least, they forgot putting in towels several times in our room so after our shower we realized we couldn’t dry ourselves… this is one of the many mistakes we encountered during our trip. For a 5 star hotel, we expect more. Nevertheless the environment is beautiful, it has the capacities to fullfill a 5 star hotel if there wouldn’t be so many mistakes.

Notre expérience a été désastreuse, nous avions réservé 3 chambres et toutes avaient une odeur d'humidité prenante. Dans une des chambres , les meubles en était mouillés. Nous avons été obligés de demander plusieurs fois à changer de chambres. La demande a été prise en compte quand nous avons élevé la voix. Mais au final, les nouvelles chambres avaient le même problème d'humidité et d'odeur. Notre fils a commencé à tousser dans cet environnement humide. Pour en avoir discuté avec d'autres clients, ce problème d'humidité et d'odeur est récurrent. les chambres sont mal entretenues et le ménage laisse à désirer. La Tv n'etait plus encastrée dans le meuble, les joints de la SDB étaient dégoutants, la robinetterie et lavabo sales, l'accès à la piscine de la chambre avec des points de rouille . Le personnel au lobby (notamment Fadah) n'est pas compétent et ne veut pas d'effort pour résoudre les problèmes. L' hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles dès qu'on regarde en détail.

Brukte lang tid på å få mat, når maten endelig kom på bordet så måtte en vente på bestikk. Unødvendig frustrasjon under middag og når en skulle bestille noe i baren ved bassenget. Venter 20 minutter på å bestille en bøtte med øl. Burde hatt flere folk på jobb. Når vi gav tilbakemelding på service så ble det tatt affære fra den Svenske hotell sjefen. Veldig flott anlegg, men beregn noe tid på transport om en skal inn til fastlandet på aktiviteter

Vi fik et værelse helt yderst til en af siderne, så der var ikke god udsigt ud over Polen. Værelset lugtede maget af fugt så det var ikke så lækkert. Men ud over det, så var det et meget venligt personale og en lækker pool at bade i. Der var ikke mange mennesker i området, så meget fredfyldt og afslappende. Vandet ved stranden var ikke klart her, men meget flot udsigt.

The Hotel room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there is almost no space for Clothes storage or a cupboard. The surroundings are very green and kept in a good shape. The staff was very friendly, but not very attentive. Tables in the restaurant where not cleared and cleanded up to an hour for new guests. Overall it was a nice stay, whereas I would rate the Hotel max. 4 Stars, with prices of a 5 Star hotel.

Staff was not interested in helping you, they had no feeling for service what so ever. Staf walked by litter laying on the walkway without picking it up. The room was finished in a hurry with no thoughts on finishing the details. Furnitures was not in place yet, you had nowhere to hang your wet bathing suits or wet towels. A nice big balkong without any furniture. The staff(in restaurant) spoke very limited English. Ordered a bottle of prosecco which was served warm 😞

Our recent stay left us with mixed feelings. The location is undeniably stunning & the island offers a serene atmosphere, creating a great first impression. The spa was a highlight of our trip. The team is clearly skilled, and the treatments were excellent. However, the booking system seemed a little disorganized, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Breakfast was another standout, offering a wide variety of tasty and satisfying options to suit all preferences. Additionally, the reception team deserves a mention for their professionalism and kindness in resolving a hiccup with our check-in, going out of their way to accommodate us. Evening dining was also enjoyable, with high-quality food and a diverse menu selection. Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks. Our experience at the restaurant on Saturday night was particularly disappointing. After waiting for 5 minutes waiting to be seated we found and prepared our own table having been repeatedly ignore by staff. We then waited 25 minutes before someone came to take our order. The service felt unwelcoming and unprofessional, which was disheartening. In summary, Island Escape by Burasari is a beautiful resort with a lot of potential, but it falls short in some areas, particularly in service and activity offerings. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape, it could be a good choice. However, addressing these shortcomings would elevate the resort to a more consistent luxury experience.

Overall, a potentially amazing holiday destination for families let down by horrendous service. This resort is billed as a 5 star and, particularly during peak season, is extremely pricey compared to relative options in and around Phuket. As such this review carries a certain level of ‘entitlement’ which we feel is justified given the 5 star billing and price level. Pros: The large family pool layout is fantastic and the most alluring attraction of the property. We stayed in a pool-side villa with families in other villas around the pool and from this perspective we could not have wished for more. The facilities were excellent (the Splash Zone is great for families, particularly with very young children). The spa was amazing but pricey on a Thailand scale. The breakfast buffet was nice. Cons: Service was by far and away the major failing of the property, which unfortunately exacerbated minor issues into major ones without needing to (and major ones into crisis ones). The boat transfers were mis-reported and mis-communicated, they tried making us wait for an hour in the heat with 6 kids even though they had sent confirmation of an earlier transfer. Lots of waiting around to be taken to our rooms with luggage. Items included in the booking were not honoured. The quality of the food was just ok. Staffing was poor quality and there was no front of house manager to deal with anything. In summary, this could be a great property but the service quality was terrible.
