Haus Eins @ Potato Point

As a person who stays at Potato Point every year in a rental house this was my first time at this property and I am super disappointed. For the price i paid it is not worth it, there is no way you can have 10 people. The downstairs of the house is an external access and is not habitable for anyone it is cold dark and mouldy and I am sure not fit for people to sleep in with the dampness and smell. There is certainly not enough lounge seating for 10 or even 6 people and the dinning table only seats 6. The house was tidy but the floors were dirty and needed a sweep and i don't think the dooner covers were washed as there was other people long hair on them and they didn't smell fresh which was really yuck. There was not enough pillow cases provided only 3 provided for for 2 double beds with 4 pillows on each and 2 double4 bunk beds. The other houses i have stayed in have all had clothes driers and with the rain we had non of our clothes dried. The TV remote didn't work so we were constantly up and down using the controls on the actual TV. The absolute kicker is there is no WIFI supplied at the house and they do not list that online, in todays world everywhere you go always has WIFI and unfortunately this house is located in a dead zone where my phone was constantly in and out of SOS. There is a DVD in the house but there is only kids movies and cartoons nothing for adults. There is a google chrome cast plugged into the TV but they don' supply the remote so there is only free TV

The upstairs was good. The downstairs had a terrible offensive mould smell. We couldn’t be down there for any length of time before we started to feel sick. Lucky half of intended guests were unable to join us as no one could have slept downstairs. In need of some new mattresses on the 2 double beds. Not enough lounges or lounge chairs for all intended guests. Only 6 seats at the dinning table. Small fridge small dishwasher but they worked fine. No bedside tables in one of the bedrooms upstairs or hanging space for any clothes. Bathroom and shower upstairs were fine. Only 1 small frypan. Good selection of kitchen supplies etc sauce was out of date though. Some flyscreens had holes in them some windows had none at all. Great area and location. This house was priced too high for the quality.

It was a good size for 9 of us had heaps of great toys for kids to play with. Had a trampoline. Tge basement wasnt aa i expected but livable. Thought it was very expensive for our two weeks.
