Delightful stay at the 4 monkeys hotel. The location is great and very quiet. The rooms were comfortable with very good AC. The rooftop bar is BEAUTIFUL with insane views of the sunset. The pool across the street is a great added bonus to cool off from the heat. The staff was very kind and helpful in all aspects. Only down falls were hard beds and low shower water pressure. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Bangkok on a budget. Great overall experience.

I really liked the hotel and the location in the ‘Old Town’ lots of great cost effective places to eat. The breakfast was good at the hotel. Firn beds and good pillows 😀. There is a nice rooftop bar. All staff were great.

I thought this would be nicer and I bought a larger room. Other than a roof top bar that was closed due to rain there were no amenities. The area is great for eating and there are many europeans.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super friendly and our room was comfy and cleaned everyday. You can use the pool at the hotel opposite which was a huge bonus for us! The hotel is walking distance to Koah San Road and there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around. The only thing is it’s not close to any metro station or the BTS and we found Grab’s took a long time to get to us and were quite expensive if you wanted to get to the other side of the city.

The staff at 4 Monkeys Hotel are all very friendly and helpful and make staying there a pleasure. We have been returning customers 6 times already. The rooms are mostly quite small and fairly basic, but they are very clean and have everything you might need (bottled water provided daily, kettle, fridge). The area is quiet yet within very easy walking distance of the whole Khao San Road backpacking area. It is also easy to find for taxi drivers and you can use the pool of the sister property across the street. All in all, a great value and superior service for a budget hotel.

We loved our stay at 4 monkeys, they offered us a welcome drink on arrival and access to the pool across the road. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful all the time, plenty of little places to eat cheap. Walking distance to Khao San Rd, the only issue was that there was no train around so moving around Bangkok was painful. Recommended for a quiet and relaxing stay.

The hotel was close enough to Khao San road to walk to but far enough away to be quiet. We did get noise from the elevator and people walking in the hallway. There are a ton of food options very close by as well as laundry facilities. The floors in the room were very slick.

Nous avons adoré la piscine cinéma grand écran , une expérience mémorable à découvrir, du jamais vu! WoW! Nous avons apprécié la terrasse pour les fumeurs (même si nous somme non fumeur) cette section nous permet d’apporter et boire nos bières et notre vin qui nous permet d’économiser! Le personnel est très accueillant et très gentil! Les seuls points que l’hôtel aurait à travailler au niveau de la propreté dans la chambre , serait de ne pas oublier de vider toutes les poubelles chaque jours, de ne pas oublier dans le changements de serviette de remettre des serviette à main et de faire un brossage ou sablage des joints de la céramique de douche . A 10 minutes de l’hôtel beau secteur de fête à découvrir le soir pour ceux qui aime la musique fortes les street food, les bars et les nouvelles découvertes comme manger du scorpion!

3 yıldızı güler yüzlü oldukları için verdik. Yoksa 2 yıldız bile fazla. 4 gece kaldık, söylediğimiz halde odayı temizlemediler. Sadece 2 yastık yüzünü değiştirip bırakmışlar. El havlusu odada yok her gün istemeniz lazım. Oda terliği yok. Kahvaltı yetersiz. 16.800 Baht ödedik böyle bir otel için çok fazla.

Værelset rent og pænt. Personalet var meget venlige og imødekommende. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker og varieret. Dog var sengene lidt hårde at ligge i. Hotellets beliggenhed var fin i forhold til udflugter og gode spisesteder.

We have stayed at 4 Monkeys in Bangkok on three occasions in the last 2 years. We keep returning because the staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. The rooms, while quite small and basic, are clean and pleasantly decorated and equipped with a fridge with free bottled water supplied daily. One of the great advantages of the hotel is its location. It is in a quiet soi (lane) off the Samsen road, making it much more peaceful than locations on or closer to Khao San Rd - yet it is a pleasant 10 minute walk to all the hustle and bustle of the famous tourist mecca. Another advantage is its association with Street Hotel opposite, allowing you to use their pool and facilities. Overall I'd say that 4 Monkeys is a very good budget hotel. Our only issue would be the lack of space to work in the rooms and the buffet breakfast (which I think many people enjoy but we feel could be improved).

Hôtel assez loin du métro, mais bien situe pour visiter le vieux Bangkok à pied. Étant loin des quartiers touristiques de nuit, nous n’avons pas eu de désagréments sonores. A améliorer, évacuation bouchée dans la douche, eau chaude capricieuse (douche froide probable). Personnel accueillant et répondant volontier à toutes questions.

location as alright. bathroom accesories is terrible. silly placement of basin's tap. makes me unable to properly wash my face. hot water is not consistant, constantly changing between hot & cold water through out the day. poor sound insulation from the bedroom door. with constant banging of room doors when open & close.

We stayed here over New Year’s Eve and it was fairly decent hotel for the cost but a few draw backs were the lighting in the room being quite dark if you’re a girl needing to get ready. They didn’t have a full length mirror in our room. Staff were helpful

It was ok for the money. The floor was squeaky and the fittings around the bed were like a cage and they rattled. The staff argued a bit and didn’t tell us when our taxi was there. The decor was a bit like a horror movie but that kind of made it quirky.Good location but not high end. Basic hotel with strange staff who were a bit shouty.

Asia made sure I had all I needed through out the week I was there. I can’t remember all the staff names from front desk and entry area, but all of them were very helpful and available when I needed. Really appreciated as it was my first time In Thailand. I also liked that the hotel was close to a pier and I Could go easily to several other places.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super friendly and our room was comfy and cleaned everyday. You can use the pool at the hotel opposite which was a huge bonus for us! The hotel is walking distance to Koah San Road and there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around. The only thing is it’s not close to any metro station or the BTS and we found Grab’s took a long time to get to us and were quite expensive if you wanted to get to the other side of the city.

Hôtel assez loin du métro, mais bien situe pour visiter le vieux Bangkok à pied. Étant loin des quartiers touristiques de nuit, nous n’avons pas eu de désagréments sonores. A améliorer, évacuation bouchée dans la douche, eau chaude capricieuse (douche froide probable). Personnel accueillant et répondant volontier à toutes questions.

Great value for the money you pay. It is close to many touristic places but you will need a tuktuk or taxi. My room was small but clean and with everything I need. Breakfast was ok. There was room service every day. The staff were vey helpful. The bar at the terrace was very nice.

Asia made sure I had all I needed through out the week I was there. I can’t remember all the staff names from front desk and entry area, but all of them were very helpful and available when I needed. Really appreciated as it was my first time In Thailand. I also liked that the hotel was close to a pier and I Could go easily to several other places.

We loved our stay at 4 monkeys, they offered us a welcome drink on arrival and access to the pool across the road. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful all the time, plenty of little places to eat cheap. Walking distance to Khao San Rd, the only issue was that there was no train around so moving around Bangkok was painful. Recommended for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Quiet at night which was great, and just a 10 minute walk to Khao San Rd. Lots of dining options nearby as well as laundry service. You can also use the pool at the property accross the street which was nice.

Værelset rent og pænt. Personalet var meget venlige og imødekommende. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker og varieret. Dog var sengene lidt hårde at ligge i. Hotellets beliggenhed var fin i forhold til udflugter og gode spisesteder.

Best breakfast in our 25 day trip across three countries and 6 hotels. The rooms are decent although I would have liked them to be slightly bigger. For a budget trip, it’s a good choice and within walking distance from Khaosan Road.

Awful, honestly awful! The rooms are very tired and look nothing like the photos. We checked in, went to our room and was very disappointed. The ac didn’t work, the tv didn’t work, the safe didn’t work, the bathroom was filthy, the room smelt horrible and the bed was like concrete. Within 30 minutes I had checked in and checked back out of there and purchased a room at another hotel. Save your money and don’t stay here!

I was gifted a lunch voucher upon arrival and when I came out of the elevator to explore the lady took it from me and said it wasn’t for me… such an odd experience. The right thing to do would have been to do nothing and just let the guest have one free lunch but I guess they badly needed the funds that they tracked me down to take it away. Was so strange. Great property, stayed a four or five times so far but I won’t be back after that interaction.
