Lakeview Cottage was everything that we could have wished for - generous provisions and very comfortable furniture with many lovely spaces to sit and relax in. Our dog loved the backyard and we all look forward to returning later in the year. Many thanks Kevin.

Quiet street, lovely house, close to the local shops, the backyard is enclosed with plenty of privacy, the back has a nice, pleasant garden, loved the morning sun on the deck. The house was very clean. Communication with Kevin the host was fantastic.

A cute lakeside cottage. You get the impression that you have entered an antique shop but one with modern conveniences, shout out to the Nespresso machine. A gorgeous backyard. My teacup Pomeranian didn’t escape and, believe me, she tried. Kevin the host is very easy to communicate with and obviously wants you to enoy this little slice of heaven. And thanks Kev for the yummy treats in the fridge. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at this charming cottage. The location is perfect; just a short walk to the Lions Park and Burrill Beach, and the fantastic bakery and fish shop. The cottage has everything you need, Nespresso coffee machine, Weber BBQ, fishing gear if you need it and much more. Our fur baby loved the backyard and relished the chance to run at the nearby off-leash beaches. The host Kevin was fantastic; very responsive with answers to questions and he provided a very comprehensive overview of the local area and must-see sights. I would stay here again in a heartbeat; it’s one of the best holiday properties we’ve stayed in.

Comfortable and cosy, beautiful gardens, lovely deck outside to sit in the sun a with a cuppa and a book. Quiet area, but close enough to everything if you want to go out. Lots of beautiful local walks, birdlife, easy access to fishing. Pop over the bridge to a handy supermarket, or walk down the road for a coffee at the local bakery. The host, Kevin, does everything possible to ensure your stay is a truly enjoyable holiday! We will be going back as soon as possible!

This cottage is just the sweetest. I absolutely fell in love from the moment I arrived. The original features down to the old sunroom, fireplace, french doors and Windows to the updated bathroom and kitchen. The backyard was perfect for my dog with plenty of tree shade. I’ll definitely be back to do it all again but a longer stay next time. Kevin was amazing and full of information to make our stay perfect.

Kevin (the host) was very helpful and shared lots of tips and recommendations (both for activities, and dining) prior to the trip. The place was very tidy and the photos in the website were accurate and descriptions were spot on so it helped set the expectation for our stay. We had such a lovely time and the check-in/out process was very smooth. Our little dog loved the backyard to run around in. We will surely be back!

Good location, well equipped and fairly comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, both before our stay and during it. We were warmly welcomed with fresh cakes and bread as well as basic staple groceries. Internet was unfortunately quite poor / intermittent and not all terrestrial TV was available (ABC and Channel 9). There was minimal space for clothes - the only hanging space in the main bedroom was occupied by the vacuum cleaner which left a dusty residue. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

From the moment I found this place I knew I would love it. Gorgeous little home, incredibly accommodating. A opportunity to go back in time with everything you could possibly need for the perfect stay. Super Pet friendly. The location is simply perfect. Kevin was just a pleasure to deal with. Lovely property with character, well appointed, cosy, perfect for pets with secure back yard. Bakery goods and a handwritten note were a nice touch. The girls swam at Burrill Lake inlet most days with the dog, the boys surfed at Burrill beach, just a short walk away, perfect! Communication with Kevin was excellent, he couldn’t do enough to help, including a late check out which meant we could go for one last swim. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and cosy, beautiful gardens, lovely deck outside to sit in the sun a with a cuppa and a book. Quiet area, but close enough to everything if you want to go out. Lots of beautiful local walks, birdlife, easy access to fishing. Pop over the bridge to a handy supermarket, or walk down the road for a coffee at the local bakery. The host, Kevin, does everything possible to ensure your stay is a truly enjoyable holiday! We will be going back as soon as possible!

Quiet street, lovely house, close to the local shops, the backyard is enclosed with plenty of privacy, the back has a nice, pleasant garden, loved the morning sun on the deck. The house was very clean. Communication with Kevin the host was fantastic.

My husband, dog and I stayed here for the second time and it will not be the last. We arrived to find relaxing music playing, a lovely smell and some bakery treats. The house is comfortable and the yard great for the dog. A boat ramp at the end of the street allowed me to kayak every day to a great spot where we could swim and the dog play on the beach. Very relaxing stay.

We had such a lovely stay…the house is gorgeous with everything you could need. The backyard is secure and a great space for us (our daughter loved the chicken garden statue!). Kevin’s communication and recommendations were on point. The location is ideal and an easy walk to the lake, shops etc. loved our time here

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at this charming cottage. The location is perfect; just a short walk to the Lions Park and Burrill Beach, and the fantastic bakery and fish shop. The cottage has everything you need, Nespresso coffee machine, Weber BBQ, fishing gear if you need it and much more. Our fur baby loved the backyard and relished the chance to run at the nearby off-leash beaches. The host Kevin was fantastic; very responsive with answers to questions and he provided a very comprehensive overview of the local area and must-see sights. I would stay here again in a heartbeat; it’s one of the best holiday properties we’ve stayed in.

Easy to check in, good communication with the host, great yard for the dog, close to beaches, good for boating, fishing. Close to shops, bakery, cafes. Quiet neighbourhood. Will definitely return.

Gorgeous little cottage, equipped with everything you could need for a fun and relaxing stay. We loved the location, such a lovely little village. Good location, well equipped and fairly comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, both before our stay and during it. We were warmly welcomed with fresh cakes and bread as well as basic staple groceries. Internet was unfortunately quite poor / intermittent and not all terrestrial TV was available (ABC and Channel 9). There was minimal space for clothes - the only hanging space in the main bedroom was occupied by the vacuum cleaner which left a dusty residue. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Relaxing, walking distance to shops lake and beach. The bakery had great goods and coffee which Kevin had left blueberry cake for me to enjoy on my arrival. Cottage was fully stocked with necessities. My dog loved the back yard and the rosella flock that visited us every afternoon. Great stay will travel back from interstate again to stay

Our family of 4 plus dog loved this house. Air con kept us cool, grea backyard for the dog and kids, and early morning coffee. Great location near coffee, beaches, rivers, waves or snorkeling- whatever takes your fancy. House stocked with all the basics (salt and pepper, toilet paper, cling wrap, linen). Kevin is a very thoughtful host and we definitely hope to stay again. Jan 2026
