Chalet Loch Leven Lodge 4

Die Unterkunft hat nach vorne hin eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf den Loch Leven und die Landschaft. Allerdings läuft direkt dahinter die Straße, so dass ständig Autolärm vorhanden ist. Für Menschen die Ruhe brauchen schwierig. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Matratzen müssten mal ausgetauscht werden …. Das Personal in dem Café ist sehr herzlich und freundlich, ein und auschecken verlief völlig problemlos. Auf Rückfragen wurde sofort geantwortet. Man sollte Insektengitter dabei haben.

I needed to accommodate my elderly Aunt while her home underwent some renovations. I am so pleased to have found this lodge. My Aunt is reliant on a wheelchair & the disabled facilities were a necessity. The lodge met our needs perfectly. Aside from that the lodge was lovely. Well decorated with lots of unique finishing touches, comfortable furnishings and a well supplied kitchen. The position of the lodge affords a fantastic view over the Loch & hills, providing a very peaceful, relaxing week.

The lodge is a short walk to the hides of the RSPB wetlands. It is close to a fast road but traffic noise was not disturbing. It was surprisingly spacious, very well-equipped and with a pleasing decor. Heating system worked well. Kitchen not well-organised. Views to fields with sheep and cattle on entrance side and views to trees from the balcony that hide a full view of the loch. But we really enjoyed staying there. Great place.

We spent New Year in this lodge which was warm and cosy even though the weather wasn't. The site was very quiet and views from the lodge over the loch are stunning. The lodge is also conveniently situated for walks and shops.

We loved Loch Leven Lodge. Nicely located just north of Queensferry it’s a short drive from Edinburgh, St. Andrews, and Glasgow. Very cozy and beautiful sunrises and views over Loch Leven. Recommend highly. Incredible value as well.
