Lovely Apartment, Bonus secure parking only gripe could do with a good spring clean cobwebs and dust everywhere but time allowed for change overs to be expected. Hope new owners when sold still let it.

The Barn 22 At the Beach is a lovely apartment right on the sea front at Torcross with parking in a garage and suitable for four people, although we were only a couple. The apartment is extremely comfortable: king-sezed double bed with en suite featuring a walk in shower. There is also another bathroom/shower room upstairs so if you're in the lounge area you don't have to go downstairs! Nice kitchen area and seating. Everything we could want for a long weekend break. Apartment was very well located as it's an easy walk along the sea front to the excellent Star Bay Inn (fish and chips to die for!), Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and two other cafes. Bus stop almost outside with an hourly service to Dartmouth or Kingsbridge: having an OAP bus pass, there was no need to take the car!! Just a couple of points. Measure your car before you book. Our Toyota Yaris easily fitted in, but anything much bigger and the driver would have difficulty getting out once in the garage. And with the apartments all taken, you have to use the garage. Perhaps a few more mugs and plates: fine for a couple, although even we used all the mugs in one day, and there is a dishwasher, but a few more would mean less washing up if there were four staying. And a few instruction manuals on the dishwasher/microwave/oven/hob for visitors who are not technically minded to work it out for themselves. No DVD player. TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime, but we don't subscribe so brought some favourite DVDs in case the weather was bad in March which obviously we could have used if bad weather had meant we couldn't go out. But overall an excellent choice for self-catering and for these days, reasonably priced and good value given the quality of the fixtures and fittings.

What a wonderful place to stay! It is in an amazing location within a few minutes' walk of the beach and a cafe and pub. My husband and I stayed at The Barn, 21 At The Beach, between Christmas and New Year. We had a wonderful break. The house was beautiful and immaculate, with everything we needed. Having the beach within a few minutes walk was lovely. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the local cafe and a Sunday lunch in the pub all within a few minutes walk. A bonus for my husband was parking his classic car in the garage! Both Luxury Coastal and the Coastal Concierge were very helpful and efficient. We would love to return to the house and will use Luxury Coastal again. A lovely, relaxing, and peaceful break.

Didn't disappoint had a. Lovely stay as always, only.downside had to inform Luxury Coastal that there was no fob for garage door as didn't want to get charged for it which they sorted but wasn't very easy climbing over car bonnet after closing door.
