Château d'Harcelaines

Exterior of property and gardens are impressive, it looks very good. Room was large and bed was very solid but otherwise the room was a bit tatty. Towels were old and need replacing like the bathroom curtain which is transparent. Room door wasnt secure, wet room was awkward to get in and out of and leaked down entry steps. Some of the fittings and furniture were antique, but to be honest it just looked mostly like cheap secondhand stuff. Expected more for the price. Could have done with some staff around, but apart from a fleeting visit from a woman who showed us the location of our room noone was there, hence low mark for service
