Rock Point Inn is in a great central location in Lyme Regis. It’s an old building with character so our room was not big but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a sea view. A fan was provided and we needed it during our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location means there is no parking at the hotel. The short stay car park next door gave us the opportunity to drop of our luggage and drive to the long stay car park a 10 minute walk away. Our bags were in our room when we checked in.

Great stay at rock point which is central to everything. Parking is away from hotel but a couple of minutes walk. Friendly service and great food. We would go for a bigger room next time as a bit cramped . Elemis toiletries so wife happy.

Fabulous, comfortable stay in the heart of Lyme Regis. Really helpful and accommodating staff. Great bar and we enjoyed the breakfast too. Fab views over the sea. Will return.

The location was amazing. Parking was a little complicated as we had to move/pay for a 3 hour slot at 8am since parking was only free overnight. Property was clean and the staff were wonderful. The floors in the property were warped however and that made navigating the stairs a little uncomfortable. Overall a great stay though.

Food was great! Staff were more than lovely! The room was fab, and the view from it was even more fab - what’s not to like??? You can park a few minutes up the hill in the NCP car park. A great place to stay if you want to go fossil-hunting.

Lovely top floor room, which had a steep tight staircase to get into, but we knew that. Great big bath tub. Stunning views out to sea. Breakfast was excellent with both continental and a selection of different English options. Staff were very polite and friendly. Bed was massive and very comfy. Very quiet room and location. No parking, but there were plenty of nearby spaces on the MyParking app.

The Rock Point Inn is a very comfortable hotel right on the sea. You can't beat the location. The staff could not have been more friendly or attentive. The food was very good. Our room was small, but cozy: perfect for the two of us. The shower was warm and we sunk right into the bed for a good night's sleep. There were nice touches around the hotel like board games to borrow and historic photos. Do research parking options, as the hotel doesn't have it's own lot. Lyme Regis is an enjoyable old fashioned resort town. The Rock Point Inn is part of that and you'll really enjoy your stay.

Very nice hotel great location. Parking is a bit of an issue and it just means you need to drop your stuff off and then go off and park the car. Staff very good, especially the breakfast staff who were very helpful.

Lovely property right next to the sea and promenade. We had a sea view room and had views over to the Cobb. Highly recommend booking for dinner as it was very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great 2 day stay and will be back. Only downside is no parking at hotel and nearby town car parks are max 3 hours. We parked in long stay at the top of the hill, around 10 minute walk.

The room was immaculate and had superb attention to detail with some really nice touches. Powerful shower, comfy bed, excellent views. Restaurant was gorgeous and food was excellent quality. Staff were the shining part of our stay. Location of course!

My husband and I stayed at Rock Point Inn for 2 nights just last week and we had a wonderful stay. We stayed in room #6 "The Cobb", it was super cozy and clean and a lovely view of the high street and a little of the sea. The whole staff was friendly and chatty and very professional, and the hotel couldn\'t be more perfectly located. The breakfasts in the morning were amazing! As soon as we walked in to the breakfast area we were offered lattes and a place to sit by the big windows overlooking the sea. Choices of hot cooked breakfast and also a lovely table set out with cold meats and cheeses and pastries. We would definitely stay there again

Our sink was partially blocked and we noticed the shower drain had not been cleaned out prior to our arrival. We requested that the sink was fixed on two occasions but this didn't happen. By day 2 there were a lot of tiny bugs all over the bathroom. I wonder of they had come from the blocked drain. The staff sounded friendly and cooperative but it seems there was inadequate communication to check these jobs are done. Shame because this was other wise a nice hotel, very nice breakfast.

We stayed in room 9 which looks out on the sea and the cliffs. A small but lovely room with a wet room en-suite. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The first day the weather was beautiful and you almost felt you were in Greece or similar. Then overnight a major Storm rolled in and whistled the windows. Wonderful.

We were upgraded when we arrived to a room at the front with sea views from both windows. There was a nespresso machine and coffee and tea facility’s. The room rate included breakfast which was a choice of fruit, pastry’s breads and jams and a choice of various cooked breakfasts we out juice and hot drinks. The breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful and friendly . Highly recommend a stay here.

Exceptional breakfsst - large choice and the best cooked breakfasts we have had in a long time. Unpleasant smell in hallway of fish being cooked. Mattress in Room 1 needs attention. Staff very wevoming and an excellent location.

Was satisfactory stay but missing any personal input - wasn’t asked if we enjoyed the stay or if everything ok at any time. Seemed to be mainly run by youngsters without any experience of hotel service etiquette. My husband ordered a drink at the bar in the evening and told the lady that the radiator wasn’t working in our room but she just looked at him and didn’t offer to get anyone to look at it! Breakfast took three quarters of hour to arrive with no apology or checking with us all ok and not asked if we enjoyed meal. When we left we handed over the key and just got a thank you?? It’s amazing what a difference just a little bit of friendly chatter to your guests can make to one’s stay and it costs nothing.

Although the location and facilities were amazing- the overall stay was let down by the service received. When checking in the person seemed to be very inconvenienced to take the time to check us in and show us the room. In addition they wanted to charge an extra £20 for breakfast for the 2nd person staying even though breakfast was included in the price. Ended up leaving before breakfast to avoid further disappointment with the service.
Although the location and facilities were amazing- the overall stay was let down by the service received. When checking in the person seemed to be very inconvenienced to take the time to check us in and show us the room. In addition they wanted to charge an extra £20 for breakfast for the 2nd person staying even though breakfast was included in the price. Ended up leaving before breakfast to avoid further disappointment with the service.

Rock Point Inn is in a great central location in Lyme Regis. It’s an old building with character so our room was not big but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a sea view. A fan was provided and we needed it during our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location means there is no parking at the hotel. The short stay car park next door gave us the opportunity to drop of our luggage and drive to the long stay car park a 10 minute walk away. Our bags were in our room when we checked in.

Fabulous, comfortable stay in the heart of Lyme Regis. Really helpful and accommodating staff. Great bar and we enjoyed the breakfast too. Fab views over the sea. Will return.

A really fantastic comfortable stay. Such a great location to be as you are close to everything. The staff were attentive, friendly and so helpful, we couldn’t fault our time there. Highly recommended

The inn is beautifully located on the seafront we had a lovely room overlooking the water. Room was very comfortable and the staff were cheerful and helpful. It was also handy to be able to just walk downstairs to the cosy pub for supper. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property right next to the sea and promenade. We had a sea view room and had views over to the Cobb. Highly recommend booking for dinner as it was very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great 2 day stay and will be back. Only downside is no parking at hotel and nearby town car parks are max 3 hours. We parked in long stay at the top of the hill, around 10 minute walk.

What a lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sea view room was amazing and welcoming with a few little extras and the food in the restaurant was great too. Have already booked to go again.

had a to remove the loo paper before you had your shower, otherwise one would get a soggy loo roll as it was situated to near the shower . We ate in the restaurant each evening and the food was very good. ... Personally, being in Lyme Regis, a little more fish on the menu would have been perfect. We would definately go again.

Exceptional breakfsst - large choice and the best cooked breakfasts we have had in a long time. Unpleasant smell in hallway of fish being cooked. Mattress in Room 1 needs attention. Staff very wevoming and an excellent location.

Lovely top floor room, which had a steep tight staircase to get into, but we knew that. Great big bath tub. Stunning views out to sea. Breakfast was excellent with both continental and a selection of different English options. Staff were very polite and friendly. Bed was massive and very comfy. Very quiet room and location. No parking, but there were plenty of nearby spaces on the MyParking app.

Had an amazing stay. The only negative was that Hotels.com didn't inform us that the breakfast was continental. (only on certain days). It was left to the staff/manager who were really apologetic. The Manager and staff were fantastic and will definitely return.

The best location in Lyme Regis. Superfriendly staff and a great pub on first floor. The room was cosy and clean but eventhough the bathroom didn't seem that old it smelled of mold and paint was coming off the ceiling. No AC which made the stay a bit challenging in the summer heat.

Perfect for a couples weekend away! Excellent stay thank you all! So nice to sit on a terrace looking at the beach and sea, whilst eating a very good breakfast. Booked with our 12yo Labrador. Stairs were a tad steep but she was happy being carried up 😁 Staff are very helpful and the location is just stunning! We will be back

—1 night— Staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. Getting to the room was a bit of a haul – don't bring more luggage than you have to! – but then we did choose the one at the top of the building with ace views over Lyme bay. The room itself was large, attractive and comfortable. A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at the Rock Port Inn. It is a lovely Inn with a pub and a restaurant with spectacular views of the cliffs, and ocean beaches. Located in the center of the Square, convenient for walks to quaint shoppes, local bars and restaurants, the Lyme Regis Museum (A+ Fossil Hunting), and the beautifully scenic Jurrasic Coast and beach! Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. A delicious continental breakfast, plus hot breakfast options were included! Our guest room was on the small side, but was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are not air conditioned, but they did have a Dyson cooling fan at both sides of the bed. It was a room facing the sunny side, which made it difficult to cool down, so perhaps arranging for a room on the back side of the building would be cooler during the summer.

A pleasant place to stay in the middle of the town. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Parking is a bit tricky, but once you get a space nearby things are fine.
