Great hotel - very cool rooftop pool bar, clean, good drinks, and has a nice little tuck shop conveniently accessible in the ground floor.

Room svce was just ok. Eggs were way too salty. Ice machine was 20 floors below and they wouldn’t bring a bag to fill the ice because “we’re green”. It took 30 min to get car from valet. Not much to do about construction noises outside that started early and ended late.

Awesome stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and the pool was amazing with the option to rent a cabana. Service was A+ from the front desk to room service.

The market in the lobby of the hotel was such an unexpected bonus! Delicious fresh cappuccinos, hot bagels and croissants, salads and smoothies were a game changer for daily breakfast. Not having to worry about leaving the property every morning in search of breakfast or late night healthy snacks --and the quality of the offerings was unmatched. Also the happy hour offerings in Corrine restaurant were delicious and affordable. This really impressed my daughter and I. I sent photos to friends and family for any future trip to Austin!

An advertised option other than Valet Parking would be nice. I was not expecting to pay $69 a night with the only option being valet.

Loud lobby, rooftop bar was mediocre. Parking; getting picked up was a nightmare. Beth slow to park and valet cars. It’s. Small area and cars were always backed up onto the Main Street. Staff wa great but they definitely seem understaffed all over the hotel. Room was clean, floor was quiet.

Good location. Plenty of amenities! Fitness center and pool are large and spacious. Food was very good everywhere. Staff very friendly.

The music noise in our room was terrible, it was as if I was in a club, I called front staff and was informed they had already placed 6 calls to police due to the noise coming from the rooftop bar. Terrible weekend, I thought I'd be relaxing instead was in hyped up bar from my room. music didn't stop until after 2am!

Everything was nice except the smell of mold. Drinks were PERFECT!!! Ambiance at the pool was nice. Service could’ve been better. I’d definitely stay again!!!

Cleanliness is paramount to me and I was extremely comfortable with the hotel accommodations.

Overall, the stay was OK. The place is clean. The bar & lobby area was nice. As a member, I was offered an upgrade to a corner King room (instead of 2 queens) to which the receptionist said "it's a suite". So I expected a suite, meaning there is a separate seating area. Turns out this wasn't the case. It's a room with a small long chair right next to the bed. There is a door between the bed area and the bathroom area, that's it. The pool was cloudy; it didn't look dirty like there was trash, but the water was cloudy. The pool bar (Zanzibar) was OK; food and drinks were good but it was hard to find the server. We ordered room service (brunch) the next day. I expected it to be on real china (plates and silverware), but our brunch was packed in styrofoam containers and drinks in plastic cups, all carried to us in a paper bag (with 1 set of plasticware when I specified there were 2 people). I mean, I could have just walked downstairs and picked up the food myself and spared us the service charge tips. Valet was the only parking option for $65/day. Upon our departure, we texted the number to request for our car as usual. 30 minutes went by (we just assumed they were busy) and still no car. The valet desk didn't know about our request when we asked (showed the text message), saying their system has been acting up all morning. The receptionist mentioned nothing when we checked out. Our room was clean! It had an exceptional view and the service at the front desk was excellent. The downstairs and upstairs bars were easygoing and Corrine’s was delicious for breakfast!

The floors in the room were very dirty. The shower floor was slippery.

I stayed at Austin downtown Marriott. Staff was exceptional. Hall outside room smelled like an aquarium through most of my stay. I assume a water or sewer leak...fans were in use. Fortunately the smell did not extend into my room, where the air handling was excellent. Had my towels changed proactively and trash emptied daily. Would stay there again.. But, would appreciate candor from staff about that smell problem in my floor.

Hotel was clean and conveniently located within walking distance to 6th Street. The food and service at Corinne restaurant was great. The only issue was housekeeping is not provided daily, which was disappointing and different than stated on Expedia.

Room layout is awkward. If you are in the shower & someone opens the door to the room they can see right in. Floor in bathroom was kind of dusty. No safe or fridge. Great location & check in agent was lovely.

Service, cleanliness, bar/dining options were all great. But the bed may have been the hardest bed I've ever slept on. Also the layout of the bathroom in the rooms offers no privacy. Walls are paper thin. Pretty sure there was a dog barking in someone's room for about an hour one night as well.

My wife and I loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of activities and a lot of restaurants. The view from the room was great.

Amazing hotel, food,’bar. I recommend not staying in 701/702. So loud. With the floor being the active floor it is insanley loud at all hours of the night. Hard to sleep. People being extremely loud, do not recommend staying in any of those rooms. Love everything else about this hotel I will stay again but never in those rooms!!!!

Stayed for the weekend for a simple getaway for our anniversary. Room was smaller than expected and weird layout with the bathroom sink being in the entry way but still nice.

The facility was upscale, and the room we had was a corner view. It was very nice. Modern and updated.

Checkin staff were extremely nice and helpful.

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel. In particular, I was impressed by Om - who was working the front desk when I checked in. There were some complications when I tried to check in, and he was extremely patient and hospitable in helping resolve the situation. 100/100

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I was extremely disappointed by several aspects of my experience: 1. Dishonest Service: I spoke with the night manager regarding a matter of concern, and unfortunately, I was given false information. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. 2. Excessive Incidental Charges: The incidental fees applied to my stay were outrageously high and not clearly explained at the time of booking or check-in. 3. Unreasonable Room Rates: The pricing for the rooms was far above what I consider fair, particularly given the level of service I received. 4. No Event Discount for Parking: I was attending an event held at your hotel and expected a discounted parking rate, as is customary for hotel-hosted events. I was shocked to find that no such discount was available. This experience fell far short of what I expect from a reputable hotel, especially one hosting an event. I request that you review the charges on my bill and provide a clear explanation or, ideally, a partial refund to reflect the issues I encountered. I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter

Terrible service. My room Wasn’t ready by 4:30pl! Terrible customer service. I’ve stayed here many times. Major dissatisfaction. I should have gone to Four Seasons. The elevator situation was a giant disaster for many reasons.

Aside from the staff that checked us in, the customer service was not good at all. The restaurant was slow and understaffed (although the food was great) and the employee at loaf & vine was rude. It felt a bit like we were doing them a favor for being there.

Great location

When we originally booked this hotel, we mixed it up with the JW Marriott close by but in the end, we were quite happy with the choice we made. The hotel itself as far as facilities. Cleanliness and comfort are concerned. It’s top-notch. The room was fantastic if a little Spartan, But the Zanzibar and the lobby bar more than made this stay a great one that we thoroughly enjoyed. The only drawback is that there is a lot of construction going on in the rainy Street district and getting to the hotel by car was a challenge but doable. My last piece of advice if you want to enjoy the seventh floor rooftop Zanzibar make sure you make reservations as finding a spot without them is going to be next to impossible.

We have stayed here in the past. It's still one of the best hotels in Austin. Close to everything. Great restaurants. Eddie V's is a quick walk.

The property is in a great location and accessible to all of downtown if you like to walk.

Lovely new & clean hotel, very conveniently located next-door to the convention centre. Also easy walking distance to some good restaurants. Rainey Street & 6th Street are also only 10 minutes walk. For runners/walkers - there is a nice trail around the river with 4/5 minutes.

The property is located in a convenient location for a nature walk along the river, close to dining and night entertainment. Property is clean and staff was very friendly.

We were in Austin for New Year’s Eve. The property was centrally located and walkable to shopping and restaurants at SoCo and we were a few minutes walk from the fireworks celebration over Lady Bird Lake. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast (have the biscuits) was wonderful!

Our stay was great for a last minute trip on a holiday. The room had a beautiful view and I thought the pillow spray was such a unique touch. The only downside was we purchased breakfast with our room. We asked the front desk where it would be and she told us the restaurant. The next morning we went to the restaurant and told the host we had purchased breakfast and he said that it is usually upstairs in a separate room but sat us anyway and said he would talk to the manager. We order our food and when the waitress asks how we’d like to pay we explain again that we had already purchased. She gets a manager who we explain everything too and he agrees to take care of the bill since we didn’t order anything excessive. About twenty minutes after checking out I notice the charge on my card for the breakfast! Save yourself the money and don’t pay for it in advance!

The room was excellent. The bed comfortable and the pillows were as well. My only issue had to do with the restaurant. A shot of tequila for $30. I will never do that again. Also, the bartender gave me a card with a Q-Code. He said it was connected to a site where I could leave a rating. The q-code takes you toa so Ite where you have to enter credit card information. That seems dicey at best and i shut the website down immediately.

All amenities were great. I was disappointed with my breakfast from Corrine. The box of food I picked up was deep and I could hardly eat it. No plate was provided. The staff was great but not enough staff to accommodate our conference.
