Beds where rock hard and floors are slanted. You can see outside light from the cracks in the door entrance and getting air and dampness in. Other than that it was ok buta bit pricey for a room with a small pup and not in great shape.

Units are old but clean. Bed very uncomfortable. Sheets were rough. Was hoping to go for a swim but waterfront shallow, muddy, and full of goose poop.

Mattawa is a small community of 1800 people in Northern Ontario so the is not a big selection of hotel or motels in the area Welcome in is on the outskirts of town The property is well maintained and extremely clean located beside a small lake it has excellent scenery especially at sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning system handled the july heat and humidity. We did notice a few minor items, there was no iron or ironing board, the was no hair dryer or place to hand up your clothes nor did we notice any ice available. There is limited dining options in the area but there was a Timmi’s about 4 mins from the inn and a great Thai restaurant about 5 mins away. I would definitely stay here again

Very beutiful spot on lake. Just off highway but very quiet. Lady who checked us in was very friendly and even came by later on to see if everything was OK. No hotel/motel has ever done that. The room was immaculate and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. This was our second time staying here and will definitely stay here again.😀
