Seamist Beach Cottage, Private Beach & Ocean views

Beautiful place and amazing setting. Very generous with complimentary drinks and snacks. Hot tub is great too.Downside is some amenities were not accessible and communication was unhelpful. The gas fire pit did not work and we tried different tanks (three of which were empty upon arrival). There is also no laundry, which was not a great surprise as we were on the way to a wedding. Reached out to the host and a day later were told it is for service use only and we needed to ask housekeeping for permission. Should be handled better for a stay of this price and quality. Fantastic location though.

This location is unbelievably beautiful! We were only there for one night but the walk on the private beach the next morning was so memorable. Bodega Bay is charming and quiet, which suits this property well. The view is to die for, the private beach is wonderful, we saw live starfish and aenemome in the mussel encrusted rock formations. Local succulents were everywhere - the natural setting was surreal. The house itself is what you see, a bit dated and older, clean but well equipped. The linens and pillows need upgrading but it is apparent that the host has made great effort to welcome you with wine and fresh flowers etc. We were there for the view and got more than expected. I would highly recommend this spot.

Best amenity was the view from both inside and outside. So nice with clear walls to see the ocean and be protected from the wind. Cozy blankets in the living room were appreciated too!Enjoyed the stairs to the beach below and seeing so many starfish when the tide was out!!

Absolutely wonderful stay, even with the fog/cloud cover it was spectacular. Everything you could need here for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Will definitely be back.
