The Winston Solvang

A instalação interna dos quartos é excelente e aparentemente renovada recentemente. As áreas externas é que são muito feias porém é comum nos EUA essas instalações serem assim

My main complaint would be the check in process is on phone with disclosing your credit card on landline or via text no person Check in. The balcony door was did not lock - lock was broken though I notified no one replied to it. The other issue was the extra charge that was removed when hotels.com had already charged room and was prepaid. According to caller they had to hold the payment until they got paid by hotels. Com. I was able to see their charge which was less to hotels. Com vs what I paid (higher). I called hotels.com and they got it resolved. This seems to be something that should be resolved within hotel and hotels.com. Other than that everything else was great! We loved the room and amenities. It was beautiful

The location was great!! Pther than that, the hotel was pretty average. The room was a good size and nice. The problem we experienced was a loud trash truck would come at 730 every morning and the TV has streaming options on it but there was no streaming was available. The only staff i dealt with wad Lolita on the phone and she was helpful.

I am not used to virtual “front desks” and check ins. That was unusual for me. Once we figured that out, all was pretty good. The room was nice and appeared clean. The bathroom and shower was big, with very good water pressure. We had a little trouble with the lighting system. It was all or no lights, though it appears you can a have a little control over what’s on lights are in and what’s not. The room had all the expected amenities you would expect like a safe, refrigerator, iron, TV etc. The location in Solvang was very good. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. The area felt safe. It was odd not seeing another guest and very little hotel staff. We did see a few cleaning staff in the lobby, but it was a quiet place. The parking was below the rooms with elevator service. It was easy access. Overall, I would recommend The Winston.
