The owners and staff are amiable. Check-in was effortless and convenient to do. Breakfast was a typical grab-and-go style with bagels, yogurt, coffee, milk, orange juice, and fruit. Not everyone likes that style, but it was perfect for my stay since I had early activity plans for the day and needed something quick. They have a sand volleyball court with cornhole and a firepit which was fun to do for a night. You are in the woods, though, so service is spotty. You can log in to wifi, but it may be tricky if you need GPS after you leave the lodge. Overall, my stay was good, and I would return if I were to revisit the area.

No WiFi, no breakfast, stains all over room, could not even access lobby, keycard was left OUTSIDE and we just had to hope no one else had gotten it. No locks on door.

Great place to stay for weekend ski trip to Gore Mountain! Room was good size for family of 4. Restaurants/Bar at location good for dinner after a day of skiing. Owner was very friendly and provided great hospitality!

Enjoyed the peace and quiet and comfort. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Theonsite restaurant was a great feature. With a varied menu and great food in very inviting room. Also had a nice and well stocked bar and on tap beer.

On the upside: The room was clean, heating worked, hot water was working. Cons: Internet wasn't working, restaurant was closed (so no breakfast or anything else). Area around didn't have anything working. So as a quick place to stay it is ok, but as a long term stay - wouldn't recommend.

The room was clean, and they had made an effort to update a very old and run down property, but the effort was minimal. They had also advertised "breakfast included", I even called to confirm and was told it was a continental breakfast. What they put out I wouldn't touch. The items out were obviously old and the area wasn't clean. There was a coffee cup on the table of the dimly lit room, between the nearly empty box of hostess coffee cakes and the jar of peanut butter, with many dirty cigarette butts in it. That spoiled anything that was halfway decent about the place for me. I never saw a staff member during the two nights we were there.

We had a nice one day stay at North Creek Lodge which is around 8 minutes to Gore skiing. Check in was easy and helpful with any questions we had. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was nice, especially the coffee and bagels. Did not try the restaurant or bar. Room floor was a bit gritty due to the parking lot not being paved and must have had lots of sand. We did find a broom and dust pan to easily fix that minor issue. I would stay there again.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The flooring has been replaced recently. The wall are rather thin and we could hear everything that was being talked about in the adjoining rooms and outside. Luckily, the other guests weren’t up too late as to keep us awake.

The place was very cute! But we were very disappointed. The place was filthy and beat up. I understand the place is supposed to be rustic but one thing is being Rustic and another is being clean and well maintained! The tub where we have to shower it was dirty and the toilet was terrible. Can’t even tell you about the sink. It was clogged and we needed to wait for the water to go down.

Dead bugs on the floor. Stained sheets. Floor boards literally coming off. And one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. The staff were friendly, but I cannot recommend this place.

Rooms big and spacious, but property poorly maintained. Screen falling apart, in window AC with towels used to seal around air conditioner. Dirty with spider webs everywhere with bugs trapped in them. Will not return again.

Terrible place, I will never stay there again. The Continental breakfast was a joke! The room was filthy ,shower curtains have stain marks, blood and dirt on them. The floor was never cleaned, there were insects in the room, expected a decent breakfast only to find out only bagel was available with some cheese and frozen muffin that looks very old with coffee. Good luck to whomever decides to stay there.

It’s super convenient spot for Gore Mt. ski trip, and definitely friendly staffs. But it’s a bit noisy and outdated. Floor was definitely needed vacuum and bathtub shower liner was dirty, very dirty. They need better cleaning and maintenance. We didn’t get to try breakfast because it starts at 7:45 and we were at the mountain at 7:40. Who wants to stay late for breakfast than going up to the mountain? Seriously, serving breakfast that late is jeopardizing the whole point of staying right next to the mountain. If I care about amenities, I would stay at Lake Gorge and drive 30min.

Clean bathroom but floors seemed little dirty not horrible just felt they could have been swept a mopped it Down a bit more but I’m also very OCD about the feeling of clean floors. I do wish there was a small refrigerator in the room. Was good for our one night stay tho! Bar and restaurant was very nicely setup and convenient on site.

This was an overnight stay on our way to Vermont. It was satisfactory and options are limited in the area. The floor in the room were falling apart and the bed was very uncomfortable. The parking lot had at least 4” of ice and made it very difficult to get in and out of the car.

The place has some huge problems standing in the way of itself. It was clean, but that’s all it had going for it. The website for the hotel stated the restaurant was open on Sunday and Monday nights, but it was closed. There is absolutely nothing open in all of North Creek on a Sunday or Monday night for restaurants in winter, so misrepresenting your business on your website really sucked. The bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable (literally like sleeping on a sheet of plywood with one thin blanket) and the faux wood flooring in our room was coming up at the seams when you walked across it. No cell service in the area, so when we had no hot water in our room, how could we even call? We ran the water for over five minutes and it never got hot. As we were leaving, a helpful rep ran the water in the room next to ours for a long time, and then our room had hot water. Unless you’re diehard to stay right near Gore mountain, just get a room in Lake George for cheaper and you’ll have a more comfortable stay.

Expedia site said dinning was open on property on Sunday. A main reason we booked it. Only to find out it’s closed. Got snotty attitude when we asked about it. If I could have cancelled my reservation that night I would have. Had to drive 10 miles out of town to find a place to eat. Room is a dump. Beds are aweful. Pipes keep banging all night from heat and water being used. Overall terrible experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We came in very late and they still up waiting for us. The owner was so good to us and the food was very good. They let us come back after skiing and take showers. What a pleasure to stay with them.

The owner/manager was very pleasent. She called to let me know (late check in) where i could find my key for the room. Also got to meet her at the front desk where she offered this tired weary travler a meal even with the restaurant being closed she was amazing and i and my famy have found our go to spot in the Adirondack mountains area Thank you Andy Cuthbertson

My room was infested with flies and ladybugs (we killed about 10 flies, left for five minutes, and 10 more were there when we came back). When I texted the number listed as the emergency contact on the door of the lobby, I was told there were no available rooms and then the person stopped responding to my messages and didn't return any of my calls when I asked for further assistance. I would recommend staying anywhere but here.
My room was infested with flies and ladybugs (we killed about 10 flies, left for five minutes, and 10 more were there when we came back). This is a quaint spot, perfectly located for our motorcycle trip in the Adirondacks. The rooms don't quite meet the expectations that the photos set, but they were clean and comfortable enough. What really made this place stand, however, out was the staff. We were welcomed like we were old friends returning home, and treated so incredibly well. Whatever time of day it was, these folks ensured not only that we had everything we needed, but that we felt like we were one of the family. We were rather sad to leave, and will definitely be back. Special shout-out to Gerry and Ernie, who made this place an extra warm, welcoming, friendly, and super-memorable place. They made my partner's birthday extra special, and we drove away with our hearts filled with warmth and gratitude for this outstanding team. Thank you!!

I had a very comfortable stay in an attractive and clean room at the North Creek Lodge. The owner, Melissa, has created a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. She was readily responsive to requests and helpful with information about the area. There have been apparent upgrades to this older property and clearly more improvements are underway, which will make this lodge even more charming and enjoyable.

No breakfast, no refrigerator, no cell service no microwave at first. Staff did everything they could : helped with tv, found a microwave for us on our last night. New management should get things in shape by ski season Calll ahead to check . The motel is not in North Creek.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Beds were a bit too firm for me, but did the job. Only 5min drive to Gore mt and about 10ish min to the town of North Creek. Also only 15min to snowmobiling tours. Great location!! I'd stay here again

Enjoyed the peace and quiet and comfort. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Theonsite restaurant was a great feature. With a varied menu and great food in very inviting room. Also had a nice and well stocked bar and on tap beer.

Standard room 5 minutes from Gore Mountain which was super convenient. Priced right! Continental breakfast included in what kind of feels like a campground. Breakfast was pretty basic but fine! (ex. English muffins, Thomas's bagels, cereal, coffee/tea, blueberries & strawberries). It was a nice option that there was a bar in the lodge and restaurant (we didn't eat there). We came in late on a Friday/early Saturday morning & she left the key outside the room for us. Only complaint was there was super loud music going on until after 3:00 in the morning but since we got in so late it didn't bother us. End of the season party I suppose.

It’s super convenient spot for Gore Mt. ski trip, and definitely friendly staffs. But it’s a bit noisy and outdated. Floor was definitely needed vacuum and bathtub shower liner was dirty, very dirty. They need better cleaning and maintenance. We didn’t get to try breakfast because it starts at 7:45 and we were at the mountain at 7:40. Who wants to stay late for breakfast than going up to the mountain? Seriously, serving breakfast that late is jeopardizing the whole point of staying right next to the mountain. If I care about amenities, I would stay at Lake Gorge and drive 30min.

We had a nice one day stay at North Creek Lodge which is around 8 minutes to Gore skiing. Check in was easy and helpful with any questions we had. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was nice, especially the coffee and bagels. Did not try the restaurant or bar. Room floor was a bit gritty due to the parking lot not being paved and must have had lots of sand. We did find a broom and dust pan to easily fix that minor issue. I would stay there again.

Expedia site said dinning was open on property on Sunday. A main reason we booked it. Only to find out it’s closed. Got snotty attitude when we asked about it. If I could have cancelled my reservation that night I would have. Had to drive 10 miles out of town to find a place to eat. Room is a dump. Beds are aweful. Pipes keep banging all night from heat and water being used. Overall terrible experience.

Terrible place, I will never stay there again. The Continental breakfast was a joke! The room was filthy ,shower curtains have stain marks, blood and dirt on them. The floor was never cleaned, there were insects in the room, expected a decent breakfast only to find out only bagel was available with some cheese and frozen muffin that looks very old with coffee. Good luck to whomever decides to stay there.

Great place to stay for weekend ski trip to Gore Mountain! Room was good size for family of 4. Restaurants/Bar at location good for dinner after a day of skiing. Owner was very friendly and provided great hospitality!

The room was clean, and they had made an effort to update a very old and run down property, but the effort was minimal. They had also advertised "breakfast included", I even called to confirm and was told it was a continental breakfast. What they put out I wouldn't touch. The items out were obviously old and the area wasn't clean. There was a coffee cup on the table of the dimly lit room, between the nearly empty box of hostess coffee cakes and the jar of peanut butter, with many dirty cigarette butts in it. That spoiled anything that was halfway decent about the place for me. I never saw a staff member during the two nights we were there.

No frills motel in the middle of nowhere. Quiet, semi-comfortable, never saw anybody staffing the place, we were pretty much on our own. Notes were left on how to enter our motel and no amenities whatsoever. There was no breakfast! I know it was off season, but they said they offered breakfast, walked into the main office/restaurant area, nobody there, no coffee available, no food available, place was dingy. They should not say they offer breakfast and then come to find out there's nothing there for you. Very disappointed about that. Especially for the price.

The room was very clean. There was no AC, fridge or microwave. We came prepared with a cooler and items that didn't need to be cooked. The nights were cool and we were gone most of the time so the AC was not an issue for us. The TV didn't work as well but we brought plenty of reading items and spent time out of the room doing other things. Gore mountain is nearby and the small town area (which has a rail trail and a grocery store) was about a 7-8 minute ride. The host was excellent. They were short staffed but she managed to run the hotel, including cleaning, all by herself. There's slim pickings for hotel rooms around the Gore Mountain area. This one worked out perfectly for us since we were hiking Gore Mountain which was only about 5 miles away.

We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. The room was relatively comfortable and warm but there was a good amount of dust under the furniture. The bed was thin but firm and comfortable but there were only two thin pillows for two guests. The remotes were also missing batteries so the TV was a little challenge to navigate. Overall an okay stay. It may be quite different during Ski season or in the peak of the summer. But in May it is a ghost town that is somewhat forgotten.
