I wish they would have extra trash bucket in the bathroom. Vending machines were not replenished and do not accept cards. Other than that we had zero issues with access!

I really wanted to like this stay, but I just couldn’t do it. My room had no heat, and it was very cold. There is no staff on site. I did speak with someone who was very pleasant the first morning of my stay, but I never heard back. There was a standalone space heater, and that helped a bit, but in general, the room was clean but cold and uncomfortable. There were detailed instructions on how to operate the heat posted on the wall of the room, and I followed them explicitly and tried to get the heat running multiple times but had no success. Perhaps it was operator error. Also, to get warm or hot water in the bathroom, I had to leave the faucet running for more than five minutes. (I actually timed it.). Location was great. Room was spacious. I would save this spot for the summer.

This sweet motel in the past has been terrific. This time we had a room that clearly had suffered water damage. Smell of mildew and many large ants, door too swollen to close. Cleaning staff could not respond to simple requests for caffeinated coffee and cups to drink it in. Batteries to remote were dead and after requesting replacement, we were given the wrong size. This stay ruined our 2 night get away between having asthma and hating bugs, I couldn’t sleep. Oh and the shower handle fell off leaving one with very hot water until getting the handle back on. We were so disappointed after having a nice stay here last year. We went home early 😢

Appena entrati abbiamo notato peli sul tavolino, sul letto, nel letto, sul cuscino e sul lavandino. Dopo abbiamo scoperto che il cuscino, una volta rimossa la federa sporca, era lurido e puzzava di muffa. I davanzali erano sporchi e pieni di insetti morti. Nessuno sul posto a supportarci, comunicazioni solo telefoniche. Il posto è da evitare se ci tenete all'igiene e non volete rischiare un'infezione.

According to policies emailed before the stay there would be clean towels and housekeeping every third day of the trip, this did not happen. We had to buy extra towels, dispose of our own garbage, and buy toilet paper. The toilet seat was not stable and slipped around constantly.

Die beiden Gastgeberinnen sind äußerst hilfsbereit und stehen gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Danke, Tracy und Carol, für die schöne Zeit. Ab dem 15. Juli werden die Besitzer wechseln.

I really wanted to like this stay, but I just couldn’t do it. My room had no heat, and it was very cold. There is no staff on site. I did speak with someone who was very pleasant the first morning of my stay, but I never heard back. There was a standalone space heater, and that helped a bit, but in general, the room was clean but cold and uncomfortable. There were detailed instructions on how to operate the heat posted on the wall of the room, and I followed them explicitly and tried to get the heat running multiple times but had no success. Perhaps it was operator error. Also, to get warm or hot water in the bathroom, I had to leave the faucet running for more than five minutes. (I actually timed it.). Location was great. Room was spacious. I would save this spot for the summer.

The Sandy Neck Motel was very simple. The pictures we saw online were much better than the reality. They cut the lawn Sunday at 7 PM. There was no coffee without flavor. The TV didn’t work. The mattress was wrapped in plastic. There was no staff in the office in the morning or in the evening. It was clean and the written communication was good. Too expensive for this poor standard.

I wish they would have extra trash bucket in the bathroom. Vending machines were not replenished and do not accept cards. Other than that we had zero issues with access!

This sweet motel in the past has been terrific. This time we had a room that clearly had suffered water damage. Smell of mildew and many large ants, door too swollen to close. Cleaning staff could not respond to simple requests for caffeinated coffee and cups to drink it in. Batteries to remote were dead and after requesting replacement, we were given the wrong size. This stay ruined our 2 night get away between having asthma and hating bugs, I couldn’t sleep. Oh and the shower handle fell off leaving one with very hot water until getting the handle back on. We were so disappointed after having a nice stay here last year. We went home early 😢

HARD PASS - ICKY DISGUSTING - DONT DO IT The door locked world perfectly! Clearly this is run with the very least investment as possible. Advertise coffee and there were pods - no machine : ) Got a machine opened the 10 creamers and 9 were chucky. Asked for more all from the same hot box next to the bleach in their storage room! Bathroom fan growing who knows what - not cleaned from what you can see. How about the louver shades - broken falling apart - the owners solution - put post notes from the Westin on the windows - you just cant make it up - total rip off other places for less and better locally. Keep the search going and dont waste you money on this one.

No staff at location, apparently the email you a door code but I didn’t get one. Bathroom was pretty gross, the place was just tired and kinda dirty. It’s off-season, but the management clearly doesn’t care very much about the place.
