We had a lovely stay at this Hyatt. Great staff, yummy breakfast, and lots of restaurants within walking distance on the college campus (including delicious Mediterranean, sandwiches, Chick-fil-a and a Starbucks!). Well lit, monitored parking lot. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was EXTREMELY clean, smelled clean too! They have basic amenities and I actually enjoy that. My favorite part (and hate me for it) was their gym. Top of the art equipment perfect for a quick workout. I will definitely be staying here again!

We loved our stay here. No complaints. Great fitness center, breakfast was tasty and the staff were super friendly. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I ever came back to Wichita.

The rooms are very clean and neat. The front desk gentleman was extremely welcoming and greeted us with a smile every day! Breakfast is beyond normal hotel breakfast. The bar options are also great! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this property was exceptional. The room was sparkling clean, contemporary and nicely decorated; the bed was very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. The property offered water stations outside of the rooms, and the ice machines were conveniently located and stationed in their own room with a sound-proof that we really appreciated since our room was just across from the ice machine. The breakfast was phenomenal for a free hotel breakfast with a variety of hot items, fresh fruit, do-it-yourself yogurt parfaits and more. I also appreciated that the meal room had a microwave so I could warm up my plate after I opted to add cheese to my eggs. :) We will absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Wichita with pets with easy access to major highway. The hotel had an inviting atmosphere when you entered. The appearance was new-ish, clean, and carried a welcoming smell throughout and into our hotel room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with hardwood floors, a large walk-in shower, soft bedding, mini fridge, and 1 cup coffee pot. Will certainly stay again.

The appearance was new-ish, clean, and carried a welcoming smell throughout and into our hotel room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with hardwood floors, a large walk-in shower, soft bedding, mini fridge, and 1 cup coffee pot. Will certainly stay again.

We had a super late check-in and was desperate to stay by I-35. This is about a mile away from highway, very close to Wichita State U. Free breakfast with an assortment of breakfast options; both and hot and amazing service. Super clean and the rooms were very neat which was hard to find. We travelled as a family. Parking was right by the front and free also. Would highly recommend!!

This was our 3rd stay here, first 2 were great. This time we had a late check in around midnight, got yo our room and it was not clean, beds were gross. Changed rooms and thr bathroom was not cleaned .. hair all over, toilet dirty. One of the pillows on the bed was dirty and on the bedside table there were drink rings and sticky and the headboards were greasy/dirty.

I've stayed at this property many times before and the last two times including this one the cleanliness has been very subpar this time I kept finding long strands of hair everywhere it was disgusting!!! and the floors look like they hadn't been swept or mopped won't be staying here again.

This hotel is very nice and clearly new, but they made some odd choices designing it. It gives the impression that they were overbudget during construction and just had to "get it done." The room is huge and the bed is comfortable. The walls are incredibly thin though so be prepared to hear everything said in the surrounding rooms. I was lulled to sleep by the dulcet tones of the guy in the next room snoring all night. The blackout drapes are great but automating their controls seems an odd choice when the control panel is placed by the door a good 15 feet from the bed/living space. The mini fridge is the "miniest" ever with only enough space for a few cans of soda and a sandwich. The closet is a cabinet but you can\'t actually use it since the ironing board makes it too small for hangers to fit. There is a huge amount of unused space in the bathroom but they neglected to put in a place to hang or store unused bath towels so I hope you didn\'t want to put any toiletries on the counter because that\'s where the towels go. Like I said, it\'s a nice hotel but they made some very odd design choices and did not take into account the functionality of the room or needs of travelers. It\'s pretty though.

Nice place! Staff were polite and professional. Room was nice, it had a good view of the lake in by the college. Breakfast was good - a nice selection of things. And my son loved the indoor pool. The bed was very hard, and the pillows were the down-type that get really flat when you put your head on them. Not ideal for side sleepers, so I could not sleep at all- thus- Deducted 1 star.

The hotel in and of itself was not bad. The breakfast was great, staff was friendly, and the location was nice. Unfortunately, upon entering the room, it smelled horrible. At first I thought one of the people cleaning had used the restroom right before got there. But we soon realized that there had to be an issue with the plumbing. You would get nose blind to it when you were in the room, but when returning after being away it would hit your nose again. The other knock I have is water temperature of the shower. It would take 5-7 minutes to warm up to just like warm. It would never get to the point of being an actual “hot” shower. I rated this hotel two stars for this visit. There are enough good things about it that I would give it another opportunity. I assume that the smell is not something that would be found in every room. The water temperature I doubt would change depending on the room, but it was not so bad that I could not take a shower. Just a little annoying. I did like that I could connect my phone to the tv and “cast” movies that my family could watch each night.

We thought the property was great, but the bed was horrible! There were divits and bumps and lumps. It was not comfortable at all. Then, around 1 am, the room upstairs must have come in, and they had people jumping, running, and banging into the walls. Needless to say, we did not sleep well on our passing through Wichita.

The rooms are very clean and neat. The front desk gentleman was extremely welcoming and greeted us with a smile every day! Breakfast is beyond normal hotel breakfast. The bar options are also great! Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was well setup and clean, and the free breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. A very good stay, even more so given the price.

We had a super late check-in and was desperate to stay by I-35. This is about a mile away from highway, very close to Wichita State U. Free breakfast with an assortment of breakfast options; both and hot and amazing service. Super clean and the rooms were very neat which was hard to find. We travelled as a family. Parking was right by the front and free also. Would highly recommend!!

Super convenient for our campus visit to WSU. Clean, comfortable, and the courteous staff made this a great place to stay for the evening. Will definitely stay again and again if our kiddo picks WSU as their school of choice.

Everything about this property was exceptional. The room was sparkling clean, contemporary and nicely decorated; the bed was very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. The property offered water stations outside of the rooms, and the ice machines were conveniently located and stationed in their own room with a sound-proof that we really appreciated since our room was just across from the ice machine. The breakfast was phenomenal for a free hotel breakfast with a variety of hot items, fresh fruit, do-it-yourself yogurt parfaits and more. I also appreciated that the meal room had a microwave so I could warm up my plate after I opted to add cheese to my eggs. :) We will absolutely stay here again.

Had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Place Wichita State University! I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I particularly liked the complimentary breakfast, which adds significant value. My only feedback is that the breakfast quality could be elevated. Still, a very positive experience, and I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, would probably stay there again. The beds were not very comfortable. Only real complaint other that they ran out of bacon both mornings. The rest of the breakfast was pretty good. They had tortilla shells for breakfast burritos and pre made waffles.

The glasses were visibly dirty and the coffee mugs had left over coffee from the previous guest. The coffee maker in the room smelled so badly of mold that we unplugged it and left the room for a while. There was some staining on the bathroom wall that look like blood splatters. Over all the room wasn’t the worst in the world but I have certainly stayed in cleaner hotels. We were missing our sofa bed bedding. When I went to the front desk to ask for sheets I was questioned if I had looked in several places (which I had) They did bring extra bedding and were kind. It just felt like I was a nuisance to them for inquiring. The pool area was extremely crowded. There was a party in the conference area and multiple big kids jumping into the pool and splashing way more than what would have been acceptable. I was a little surprised that staff wasn’t monitoring the number of people in that space. Over all it wasn’t a horrible stay, but I wouldn’t stay again. I was pretty disappointed given the high amount of guest reviews which is how I base my decisions. Maybe it was just an understaffed weekend?
