This was an excellent stay. The staff, one guys in particular kept the lobby area extremely clean, always wiping the glass and sweeping the floor. It is a great location with easy access to the beach as the property is not directly on the beach. The pool is located at the front of the hotel which is a lovely view of the sunset and the ocean or you can cross the street and the hotel has chairs where you can sit, relax and watch the sunset there. The beach is also opposite the hotel 1 min walk. The hotel places beach chairs and umbrellas daily on the beach for guests for your comfort. This property is the sister property to Accra Beach Hotel so you do get a 2 for 1 where you can access Accra beach hotel facilities for the day, multiple daily visit are allowed. The hotel arranges transport to and from both hotels. Free pick up is 10:30 am from Abidah to Accra and 4:30 pm from Accra to Abidah. Accra Beach Hotel has larger multiple pools and the beach is directly behind the hotel, but it is a more family hotel so kids are there. You just need to book the day before. When you visit Accra Beach Hotel you also have access to your All Inclusive Package at their restaurants and bars. I prefer the beach at Accra vs the one at Abidah but both are lovely. Overall this is a highly recommended hotel to stay at in Barbados.

It is a small clean hotel. Rooms are large. Downside, one small dining area....super small buffet. AC did not work in our room for two nights, we were able to move rooms after that for the rest of the trip. The pool is shockingly small. Staff was great.

This was a beautiful space for us to relax in! The staff was helpful, friendly, and great with suggestions. The space is both modern and relaxed, clean, and generally well-kept. Beach view from the balcony was a favorite for reading and quick calls during the week. We saw a couple of monkeys on the roof next door one morning. The pool is small and shallow, but useable. There is a workout room as well. The lovely public beach nearby has both a more relaxed and surf side, with bathroom and shower amenities onsite. Keep an eye out for the turtles that swim near the guard tower on the bayside! We were out daily to enjoy the sea, and the community vibe. Food at Remous is mostly good to excellent, but the desserts were a bit sketchy. Service was fabulous, and bar service was a delight! This area isn’t very trendy/busy, but it’s a quick walk to Oistins, and easy to grab a bus or taxi. The sister resort, Accra, is more centrally located, so just grab the shuttle there to shop, if desired. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would book here again!

Perfect view of the Atlantic and excellent staff service. I would recommend having something available to eat during the day as an all inclusive hotel. After drinking and hang out nothing is available at the bar as the restaurant is closed 10 or 9:30.

This resort is close to the beach. It is all inclusive but very quiet. The rum punch is really good so it adds value to the all inclusive option. It isn't a turn up spot at all. The people are amazing staff is great. The only downside to my review which I would have rated it 5 stars but it's 4. There was a leak on the 1st floor when i first arrived and that leak stayed the entire time. The carpet was wet and it looked crazy as the pipes were showing. But overrall it's an excellent property. Very close to Ostin's fish fry on Fridays. Everyone is very friendly. I would definitely return back. Miami beach is steps away from the resort! Best part is there are no kids running around. You can take the shuttle to the sister resort to visit the beach. I miss it already!

The pictures of this property are very outdated and not at all the current condition of the property. Elevator maintenance multiple times, horrible food selection, no entertainment or amenities, huge leaking hole on first floor hallway just left to drip all over the place. Complete disappointment and waste of my hard earned money.

This isn’t an all inclusive they only have one dining area and one bar. They bar was open until 9:30pm but it should be 24 hours. The food should be 24 hours or longer than the hours it is. I love how quiet the hotel was. Not a lot of guest. The air conditioning was so so it didn’t get cold it was cool at not but but not cold…

The location of the hotel was good. Not far from airport, beach or Oistins at all. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch the room. The rooms were ok. Room service could have been a tad bit better. I wish the pool was larger or at least had another pool in the hotel. Our favorite parts of the hotel was the food. 10/10 food specifically the breakfast and lunch. All the staff were very polite and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay!

On arrival, could not access the hotel due to FOGGING, had to hang around outside for approx an 1hr when we entered our room we found the hot tub empty, no safe in the room, when I went down to reception she apologised for the hot tub,then said straight away to contact Expedia for a partial refund, we did have safe installed after 2days,we also had 2cockroaches in our room and other guests had the same, also around the pool area at night , the pool itself was never properly cleaned and the tiles above the waterline were rotten as were the stainless steel steps to the pool, ant the stainless steel handrail in the lift underneath was also filthy. Size of the room was very good, food you could not fault.

I travel a lot, both for business and pleasure and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room (307) was enormous, clean and the bed ultra comfortable. I like that we had both aircon and ceiling fan. Three-way French door to the balcony had a mosquito nets, and the hot tub worked! But what was the best was the food. Absolutely best AI food I had in any resort I have been. Great variety and lots to choose from. Smoked marlin was absolute top. Staff was very friendly, cocktails yummy and the beach was a picture-perfect! The hotel was getting sunbeds and parasols to the beach daily and they also came to the beach to take our bar orders and brought it to us! I hardly stay anywhere twice, but I will definitely come back to Abidah.

Great location great staff !! Except for one roach on the vanity top in the washroom .. don't know how that got there. ... water control were confusing both in the shower and the hot tub. ... labels/ markings would have work out fine.

We booked for 2 days of alone time during a family vacation. What a disappointment, dirty room, dirty hot tub and shrugs when we complained. I’m a returner, we shall not be returning. Expensive nightmare.

Very first day, they were no face towels, looking out the sliding glass door was an eye sore , I thought we were making a reservation on a resort we were so wrong. The third night there was a big cockroach running across the floor. We were also told that they didn’t supply face towels. The beach was dirty and lots of seaweed. We like Barbados, but we won’t go back to the hotel again and it only had one restaurant.

Cleaninesz was not up to part the rugs in hallways are dirty and destroyed. Room attendant doesn't clean the floors when they service the rooms. But overall hotel experience wise was great.

Where do I start… we got there around 3:15pm and were told our room wasn’t ready though check in is at 3pm. She tried to send us to the beach but we explained after a 13 HOUR trip to get there that we were tired, wanted to rest a little, and definitely shower so we’d wait in the waiting area… 1HOUR later the assistant manager Gregory comes and tells us our room isn’t ready because they don’t have clean sheets!!! Long short… after waiting in the lobby for OVER 3 HOURS and only offered TEA we found out that the room we booked with the jacuzzi and had already paid for wasn’t ready was because the jacuzzi wasn’t working and a technician was working on it. Well it was never fixed! Gregory promised we’d get compensated since the room was obviously cost more with the jacuzzi and it never worked! Needless to say he basically avoided us the rest of the trip and we were NEVER COMPENSATED!!!! Next, be prepared to only have AC in your room. No AC in the halls, elevator, and barely in the dining area. Next- beach chairs are supposed to be out at 9:30am. Well he comes out when he wants to! One day he didn’t get there until 10:30am! We almost just rented the regular chairs on the beach. The food at the hotel is ok! You won’t starve but nothing worth a review about! Room service doesn’t room service.. we would leave out at 9am and come back around 3pm and our room hadn’t been touched but she would knock around 4 or 5pm. We ended up just asking for clean towels to do ourself

Booked and paid for room with Hot-Tub - our hot tub (and seemingly those of a few other rooms) not working. NO compensation whatsoever received from the hotel, despite having paid extra for this amenity. The hotel was in a convenient location for me, across the road from the sea, parking and close to local transport too. My hotel room was absolutely huge - I loved it. The hotel is very well presented and clean, but they just need to keep on top of some general maintenance eg broken wardrobe door handle, wobbly soap dish and a replacement safe not being bolted down. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.
The hotel was in a convenient location for me, across the road from the sea, parking and close to local transport too. My hotel room was absolutely huge - I loved it. It's a beautiful room, as shown in the brochure. However, the central air conditioning does not work, and a portable unit is installed through a slider. It's not nearly enough to keep the room cool. The temporary solution looks permanent. The manager said they would get back to me with compensation. I have never heard from them. The website should let guests know what they are getting.

Where do I start… we got there around 3:15pm and were told our room wasn’t ready though check in is at 3pm. She tried to send us to the beach but we explained after a 13 HOUR trip to get there that we were tired, wanted to rest a little, and definitely shower so we’d wait in the waiting area… 1HOUR later the assistant manager Gregory comes and tells us our room isn’t ready because they don’t have clean sheets!!! Long short… after waiting in the lobby for OVER 3 HOURS and only offered TEA we found out that the room we booked with the jacuzzi and had already paid for wasn’t ready was because the jacuzzi wasn’t working and a technician was working on it. Well it was never fixed! Gregory promised we’d get compensated since the room was obviously cost more with the jacuzzi and it never worked! Needless to say he basically avoided us the rest of the trip and we were NEVER COMPENSATED!!!! Next, be prepared to only have AC in your room. No AC in the halls, elevator, and barely in the dining area. Next- beach chairs are supposed to be out at 9:30am. Well he comes out when he wants to! One day he didn’t get there until 10:30am! We almost just rented the regular chairs on the beach. The food at the hotel is ok! You won’t starve but nothing worth a review about! Room service doesn’t room service.. we would leave out at 9am and come back around 3pm and our room hadn’t been touched but she would knock around 4 or 5pm. We ended up just asking for clean towels to do ourself

The staff were friendly and professional- especially Marissa who always remembered our preferred drinks. The food was exceptional and the room was spacious and spotless. For the first 3 days we had to have our air conditioning reset several times per day and although the staff were quick to do so, this was not ideal. On the 4th day, after speaking with the manager in the morning, a technician was brought in and the AC worked properly for the remainder of our stay. On the 5th day, when we came back to our room in the evening, we found a hand written note from the hotel apologizing for our inconvenience and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge! - a classy gesture on their part. You can tell a lot about a place from the way they respond to problems. We would stay here again.

We had the absolute best time at the Abidah. The grounds were perfect. Loved the quaint neighborhood and the beach is 60 second walk away. You could walk right down to Oistins too for fun any night. It was totally perfect. Staff was so attentive and went above and beyond. Special shout out to Nikki at the front desk, Sharona, Kyle and Kristina in the dining room and Victor and Andreah at the bar. Truly Everyone was wonderful and We felt so spoiled and taken care of. And the chef was fantastic!!! Wonderful food and drinks all around. Fun music playing all the time. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be back one day! Nice hotel but service was horrible. No porters available so one has to carry luggage to the rooms. Secondly, only one elevqtor in the hotel so when the elevator had problems one had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. My room was cleaned and the cleaner forgot to leave fresh towels. It took 30 mins, and three phone calls, before the towels arrived. At supper one night I asked for butter which after 20 mins, never arrived so I gave up.

First… Truly enjoyed staying at this property. Read the reviews and know this isn’t a 5-star property. We did love the staff we made relationships with, enjoyed the food a lot, and loved the location. Our room (grand oceanfront) was also lovely! At checkin, we were told the ac unit wasn’t working + the jacuzzi. We were disappointed and were told we would receive a 10% refund - even signed a form. The ac wasn’t working upon arriving to the room but then later was working. The jacuzzi never worked. Checkout day, I asked about the refund for the units not working and they said it’s easy, just call Expedia. Since the trip, I’ve spent numerous hours on the phone with the property + Expedia. When Expedia and the resort finally connected on the phone together, the resort told Expedia they couldn’t find my reservation. When I talked to the resort, they promised every time it would happen any day. We stayed a week in late March/early April. Still haven’t received any refund even after the property states I should get a 10% refund. So as much as I loved the trip and most of the experiences at the resort, I would not stay here again nor recommend it due to the lack of poor customer service.

This was an excellent stay. The staff, one guys in particular kept the lobby area extremely clean, always wiping the glass and sweeping the floor. It is a great location with easy access to the beach as the property is not directly on the beach. The pool is located at the front of the hotel which is a lovely view of the sunset and the ocean or you can cross the street and the hotel has chairs where you can sit, relax and watch the sunset there. The beach is also opposite the hotel 1 min walk. The hotel places beach chairs and umbrellas daily on the beach for guests for your comfort. This property is the sister property to Accra Beach Hotel so you do get a 2 for 1 where you can access Accra beach hotel facilities for the day, multiple daily visit are allowed. The hotel arranges transport to and from both hotels. Free pick up is 10:30 am from Abidah to Accra and 4:30 pm from Accra to Abidah. Accra Beach Hotel has larger multiple pools and the beach is directly behind the hotel, but it is a more family hotel so kids are there. You just need to book the day before. When you visit Accra Beach Hotel you also have access to your All Inclusive Package at their restaurants and bars. I prefer the beach at Accra vs the one at Abidah but both are lovely. Overall this is a highly recommended hotel to stay at in Barbados.

Only two negatives: The beach loungers are only put out at 9.30 am and by two young men who had to drag them across the road from the hotel 3 at a time. This led to people hanging around waiting for them to set up. The food is very good with a variety of choices changing every day. However starters and desserts ran out occasionally with later diners having less choice in the evening.

The Abidah by Accra was the perfect escape for our honeymoon—elegant, serene, and tailored for romance. The location of the hotel was good. Not far from airport, beach or Oistins at all. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch the room. The rooms were ok. Room service could have been a tad bit better. I wish the pool was larger or at least had another pool in the hotel. Our favorite parts of the hotel was the food. 10/10 food specifically the breakfast and lunch. All the staff were very polite and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay!

View was nice, staff was very kind (bar staff didn't smile), clean rooms, big paint patch on wall though and lights on one bedside table didn’t work. Food was fine but nothing special. The chef loved their pepper in dishes (too much), items on daily menus not available, too much buffet. Want to be able to order entrees. Also don’t tell the customer how to cook their meet.

Perfect view of the Atlantic and excellent staff service. I would recommend having something available to eat during the day as an all inclusive hotel. After drinking and hang out nothing is available at the bar as the restaurant is closed 10 or 9:30.

The location of the property was close to the beach and the airport. Although some of the staff members were friendly, overall we felt as though our requests and need for assistance were bothersome and a incovenience. The towel supply was scarce and many basic requests (like dairy substitute) were left unmet daily due to lack of resources. There was only one restaurant on the property so dining was held to a strict schedule and the menu was limited. Although there was a bar, it, like the pool closed extremely early and didn't have a wide selection of alcohol. Our favorite parts of the hotel was the food. 10/10 food specifically the breakfast and lunch. All the staff were very polite and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay!
The location of the hotel was good. Not far from airport, beach or Oistins at all. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch the room. The rooms were ok. Room service could have been a tad bit better. I wish the pool was larger or at least had another pool in the hotel. We only spent 1 night at this hotel because they did not have the room that we booked. We requested and received a transfer to their sister hotel, Accra Beach and Spa. This hotel was a lot better. There is a beach, a gym. We had an amazing Couples Massage at the onsite Spa. There are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. It was safe to take the public bus to most places like Oistins Fish Fry, St. Lawrence Gap and Downtown. We had a fun time at the Crop Over Festival on August 3. Most of the hotel staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Our favorite is Lashae who works in the Accra Restaurant. She was very pleasant and went above and beyond to provide excellent service with a smile. Other staff members Kimberly and Amanda were pleasant and helpful. The bartenders were also friendly and made the best drinks. Much thanks to the Shuttle driver who took us from first hotel to the second. He provided us with helpful information about the Island like things to do and see. My husband really enjoyed his birthday getaway ☺️. We will definitely return to this amazingly beautiful and safe country.

I recently stayed at The Abidah by Accra. While the property itself is wonderful, the experience was unfortunately dampened by the customer service. First, the housekeeping staff was exceptional. Our maid cleaned the suite to absolute perfection, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the rest of the hospitality experience fell short. Throughout our stay, most employees we encountered lacked warmth, rarely offering a greeting or a smile. This indifferent attitude extended to the restaurant, where service felt transactional with no effort to go above and beyond. Furthermore, walking through the lobby often felt unprofessional; staff members were frequently seen sitting together chatting or looking at their cell phones rather than focusing on guests. The Abidah is a beautiful hotel with immense potential, but the staff's lack of engagement holds it back from being the elite experience it could be. I hope management invests in customer service training, as this great property deserves a team that matches its physical quality.

With all do respect, the expectations for this “all inclusive” was based on the reviews HOWEVER, I’m highly disappointed that upon arrival there were no Wash rags available in our room and when I called down to the front desk to request I was told there was “limited” quantity of wash clothes and towels. The showers were not built correctly as the water from the shower it coming out of the bathroom after putting a towel down. The second issue was the public/ private beach was not a pleasing beach to relax by, as the smell from the washed up seaweed was putrid. The third issue was the fact that there was no food/drinks available after 9:30pm there is basically no staff after 10pm. So as for “all inclusive” it’s from 7am-10pm with down time in between So I’m highly disappointed in the service and as well as the money I paid twice for the stay. There was said to be a spa and when I inquired the spa was no in service. So if a general manager sees this review please do not hesitate to reach out for a resolution.

It's a small hotel. . Small pool. Absolutely no night life. One Bar that closes at 930pm. All inclusive isn't really a thing... You can only eat at certain times and specific food. No room service or excursions. Very calm hotel
