This was an incredible resort offering much more than we could have expected. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the pool was excellent and the swim up bar was an added bonus. the beach is an excellent place to relax and the sunsets were amazing! very clean and well maintained property with greenery all over the show making you feel like you truly have escaped reality. the food was also incredible and offers a selection that caters for all types of dietary requirements, including celiac.

A beach hotel, this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great base to go to Komodo national park and follow other water sport pursuits. The pool is nice with a big pool bar. Evening dining a la carte choice is a little disappointing and could offer more choice for vegetarians. Rooms are nice with large comfortable beds.

The room was fabulous, big bed, beautiful view from the balcony, and modern shower and toilet. The premise looks pretty new, spa,pool, beach pool, gym etc. Location is about 10-15 mins ride to and fro downtown. Easy to get grab.

Stunning resort with awesome facilities like gym, pool. Beautiful food in restaurant with friendly staff. Spacious, super comfy rooms, just annoying the the bathrooms doesn’t have mesh over the exposed/glassless windows as so many mosquitoes around

Een fantastisch resort met mooie kamers, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, een fijn zwembad, privé strand, gratis airport shuttle. De zonsondergang is spectaculair aan het strand. We kwamen hier volledig tot rust. Alles klopte gewoon.

A wonderful hotel with attractively coloured and perfumed flowers and trees all around the hotel complex, providing both natural shade and beauty. Staff take care of your every need in a courteous and pleasant manner. The main pool, interestingly, has two tiny islands with frangipani trees which occasionally drop petals into the water: such a lovely touch and so unusual. The courtyard pool have waterspouts and surrounding greenery too.

We enjoyed our stay at Sudamala. We had a garden room which was quite good, but fairly plain inside, with a small verandah outside, It was comfortable and quiet. Breakfasts were OK, the cooked options sometimes did not go well together. The Bar and restaurant were good if a little pricey. The standout part for me was the really excellent massage i received. The biggest disappointment was the beach. i had not looked at it on Google maps. If I had I would have realised it was near a river and it being the end of the wet season, the water was quite brown with silt. That said staff kept the beach spotless and we saw some spectacular sunsets. Finally it is about an hour walk from town, although there is a shuttle that runs a few times a day.

We booked for a villa with a pool. I got to say the room is well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the room. We were impressed when we walked into the hotel. Then we went to have dinner at the restaurant. Now that is when things got a bit disappointing. It took us more than two hours to get our dinner and we didn’t we even get to our dessert. We had a tour booked the next day and pick up was 7am so we had to go to bed early. They could get us our check. In fact the entire restaurant was full of customers waiting for their checks. We didn’t get our check that night but they let us go. The breakfast crew however was great. No complaints there. We thought we would be wise to just order room service. To make it simple for them, we just ordered a bucket of beer. The beer showed up without a bottle opener. Waiter left and said he will come back with one. No one showed. Our beer started to get cold. So we went ended dining else where for the rest of our stay and had fabulous meals. In fact, the place right across the street and the restaurant at the tiny hotel down the street were great. Another issue we had was the hotel shuttle. They said it would take 45 minutes. More than an hour later we were still waiting. So we ordered Grab bikes. 14k for each bike. Not bad. All in all, we spent a lot of money here and felt disappointed. If we had paid motel prices we would have thought it was fair. Sadly, we can’t give this place good ratings even though we wanted to love it.

The staff were super good very nice people, the most amazing customer service for sure. Food could be better for the lunch and dinner. Breakfast is very good. The rooms were nice and spacious except for the fact that one of my pillows smell like pee and some of the towels seem to have stains. Is a few mosquitos around so keep that in mind.

We had a wonderful 3 nights here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Immaculate grounds and such a relaxing and peaceful environment. Highly recommend!

L'hôtel est beau, assez récent manifestement. Les lits sont très confortables. Les salles de bain sont semi-ouvertes. La piscine est également très bien. Le personnel est aux petits soins et parle très bien anglais. La plage n'est, en revanche, pas très propre et pas du tout aménagée. C'est vraiment dommage. Enfin, les tarifs pratiqués (taxi, restaurant, laverie, etc) sont vraiment exagérément élevés qui n'incite pas du tout à utiliser ce genre de service à L'hôtel. Par exemple : faire laver 1 t-shirt pour le prix de 2 kg de linge dans n'importe quelle laverie de la ville, c'est exagéré.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and exactly as described from the booking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of food choices at the hotel and options to do activities nearby. The pool was lovely and there were amazing sunsets from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

The property was immaculate. Even our beach was clear of plastics and rubbish (which is sometimes not the case in Indonesia). We had an ocean view room and it was amazing. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were wonderful - friendly, happy and couldn't do enough for you.

Das komplette Resort, so wie unsere Garten-Villa waren absolut sauber, modern und sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Mit der Essensauswahl, deren Qualität und derer Aufbereitung waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke, waren für die gute Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt und nicht überteuert. Das Personal war auch stets sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Jeder war stets bereit für ein nettes Gespräch oder uns Tipps für den Aufenthalt oder Ausflüge zu geben. Nachhaltigkeit wird hier groß geschrieben, alle Toilettenartikel zum Beispiel sind in Papier, nicht in Plastik, verpackt. Da es unsere Flitterwochen waren, hat das Personal uns sogar kleinere Überraschungen vorbereitet. Wir können dieses Resort ohne jegliche Kritik weiterempfehlen! Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, ohne jeglichen negativen Punkte. Herzlichen Dank!

I have very mixed views about this hotel. We had a most wonderful time on Komodo Island. The trip we arranged privately was superb, but this is the 1 hotel that i could not wait to leave. Positives + lovely gardens, which are well maintained. + large rooms + effective air conditioning + direct access to the beach. Cons - when we arrived, our balcony was not locked. The reception informed us thT it did not lock and that security patrolled, so not an issue. Being in a previous situation where we had an intruder in our room, this was not good enough. We had no sleep and had to be up at 4am to leave for a trip. On the morning of day 2, when we requested a different room, we were told that in fact it did lock. This was not good enough. - breakfast was the worst that we had on our trip. Flies were crawling over the bread in the corner, which was uncovered. Birds sweep in and out on the food. Noo e from the hotel ensures that it is covered. I left my breakfast as the hygiene was not up to standard. - we had a meal in the hotel. Again, the worst we had (and the most expensive). I can see why some people love this. If yiu want to sit by the pool and overlook the ocean, then this resort would be for you. I would not return.

This was the most stunning property on our trip to Indonesia. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the property itself was stunning. The food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
This was the most stunning property on our trip to Indonesia. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the property itself was stunning. The food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Amazing resort which was as perfect as you could wish for. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always smiling. We had a spacious Kelimatu suite which was spacious, well appointed, had a lovely balcony, and a massive bed. The location on the beach is great as was the food. Amazing and above what we had expected and very reasonably priced for a UK traveller. Great free breakfast too. Would recommend this resort without hesitation.

A beach hotel, this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great base to go to Komodo national park and follow other water sport pursuits. The pool is nice with a big pool bar. Evening dining a la carte choice is a little disappointing and could offer more choice for vegetarians. Rooms are nice with large comfortable beds.

Wish we were staying longer. A very beautiful, quiet, luxurious property on the water. Food in the restaurant was excellent, beds comfortable, check in easy. We did hear the muezzin in the morning, but it was quite beautiful. Staff was gracious. We stayed just one night before joining a liveaboard, but it was a very nice place.

If you get a room on the second floor be prepared for a steep walk up to your room! Some of the ground level rooms have a private outdoor shower and toilet. We had a couple of frogs and sometimes a small lizard watching us. The rooms closest to the reception you will notice a smell like sewage. It could be coming from the pond in the center courtyard, (the water is stagnant and dark green) but it does not affect the room, only if you are sitting out on the porch. Everything is very expensive, food, tours etc and the only transportation around the island is cab. Although over priced, the food was incredibly!

My room was gorgeous, spacious and had a beautiful view of the grounds: there was so much lush greenery—you are literally waking up to a tropical paradise! I enjoyed local cuisine at the restaurant and enjoyed the beachfront views. I had a lovely spa experience and the breakfast is absolutely delicious: I was provided a breakfast box & coffee for my Komodo Island boat tour upon request and it came in handy! If you want to zen out & decompress from the stressors of your day to day: come here, you won’t regret it! Wali di ah!

We enjoyed our stay at Sudamala. We had a garden room which was quite good, but fairly plain inside, with a small verandah outside, It was comfortable and quiet. Breakfasts were OK, the cooked options sometimes did not go well together. The Bar and restaurant were good if a little pricey. The standout part for me was the really excellent massage i received. The biggest disappointment was the beach. i had not looked at it on Google maps. If I had I would have realised it was near a river and it being the end of the wet season, the water was quite brown with silt. That said staff kept the beach spotless and we saw some spectacular sunsets. Finally it is about an hour walk from town, although there is a shuttle that runs a few times a day.

This was an incredible resort offering much more than we could have expected. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the pool was excellent and the swim up bar was an added bonus. the beach is an excellent place to relax and the sunsets were amazing! very clean and well maintained property with greenery all over the show making you feel like you truly have escaped reality. the food was also incredible and offers a selection that caters for all types of dietary requirements, including celiac.

We've stayed in luxury resorts all over the world. Never had one refuse us the complimentary airport shuttle, decline to call a cab for us, send a porter without the basic knowleedge of the room, not even have a chair in the room, not be able to provide two luggage racks, sell us on a panoramic room view that is largely obscured by a tree and decline a request to speak to the manager. On a positive note there is an onsite Aquatic Adventures team that gave us a memorable day with scuba, hiking and a Komodo Island visit that almost made up for the lackluster hotel.

We booked for a villa with a pool. I got to say the room is well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the room. We were impressed when we walked into the hotel. Then we went to have dinner at the restaurant. Now that is when things got a bit disappointing. It took us more than two hours to get our dinner and we didn’t we even get to our dessert. We had a tour booked the next day and pick up was 7am so we had to go to bed early. They could get us our check. In fact the entire restaurant was full of customers waiting for their checks. We didn’t get our check that night but they let us go. The breakfast crew however was great. No complaints there. We thought we would be wise to just order room service. To make it simple for them, we just ordered a bucket of beer. The beer showed up without a bottle opener. Waiter left and said he will come back with one. No one showed. Our beer started to get cold. So we went ended dining else where for the rest of our stay and had fabulous meals. In fact, the place right across the street and the restaurant at the tiny hotel down the street were great. Another issue we had was the hotel shuttle. They said it would take 45 minutes. More than an hour later we were still waiting. So we ordered Grab bikes. 14k for each bike. Not bad. All in all, we spent a lot of money here and felt disappointed. If we had paid motel prices we would have thought it was fair. Sadly, we can’t give this place good ratings even though we wanted to love it.

Stunning location in beautiful tropical grounds right on the beach. Stayed here either side of a weeks diving liveaboard trip, and it was like coming home again after the trip. Good food at the Wai Rebo restaurant, lovely pool area and all the staff were the friendliest most attentive people I’ve ever met!

The room was fabulous, big bed, beautiful view from the balcony, and modern shower and toilet. The premise looks pretty new, spa,pool, beach pool, gym etc. Location is about 10-15 mins ride to and fro downtown. Easy to get grab.

The staff were super good very nice people, the most amazing customer service for sure. Food could be better for the lunch and dinner. Breakfast is very good. The rooms were nice and spacious except for the fact that one of my pillows smell like pee and some of the towels seem to have stains. Is a few mosquitos around so keep that in mind.

The property was immaculate. Even our beach was clear of plastics and rubbish (which is sometimes not the case in Indonesia). We had an ocean view room and it was amazing. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were wonderful - friendly, happy and couldn't do enough for you.

I have very mixed views about this hotel. We had a most wonderful time on Komodo Island. The trip we arranged privately was superb, but this is the 1 hotel that i could not wait to leave. Positives + lovely gardens, which are well maintained. + large rooms + effective air conditioning + direct access to the beach. Cons - when we arrived, our balcony was not locked. The reception informed us thT it did not lock and that security patrolled, so not an issue. Being in a previous situation where we had an intruder in our room, this was not good enough. We had no sleep and had to be up at 4am to leave for a trip. On the morning of day 2, when we requested a different room, we were told that in fact it did lock. This was not good enough. - breakfast was the worst that we had on our trip. Flies were crawling over the bread in the corner, which was uncovered. Birds sweep in and out on the food. Noo e from the hotel ensures that it is covered. I left my breakfast as the hygiene was not up to standard. - we had a meal in the hotel. Again, the worst we had (and the most expensive). I can see why some people love this. If yiu want to sit by the pool and overlook the ocean, then this resort would be for you. I would not return.
I have very mixed views about this hotel. We had a most wonderful time on Komodo Island. The trip we arranged privately was superb, but this is the 1 hotel that i could not wait to leave. Positives + lovely gardens, which are well maintained. + large rooms + effective air conditioning + direct access to the beach. Cons - when we arrived, our balcony was not locked. The reception informed us thT it did not lock and that security patrolled, so not an issue. Being in a previous situation where we had an intruder in our room, this was not good enough. We had no sleep and had to be up at 4am to leave for a trip. On the morning of day 2, when we requested a different room, we were told that in fact it did lock. This was not good enough. - breakfast was the worst that we had on our trip. Flies were crawling over the bread in the corner, which was uncovered. Birds sweep in and out on the food. Noo e from the hotel ensures that it is covered. I left my breakfast as the hygiene was not up to standard. - we had a meal in the hotel. Again, the worst we had (and the most expensive). I can see why some people love this. If yiu want to sit by the pool and overlook the ocean, then this resort would be for you. I would not return.

We booked for a villa with a pool. I got to say the room is well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the room. We were impressed when we walked into the hotel. Then we went to have dinner at the restaurant. Now that is when things got a bit disappointing. It took us more than two hours to get our dinner and we didn’t we even get to our dessert. We had a tour booked the next day and pick up was 7am so we had to go to bed early. They could get us our check. In fact the entire restaurant was full of customers waiting for their checks. We didn’t get our check that night but they let us go. The breakfast crew however was great. No complaints there. We thought we would be wise to just order room service. To make it simple for them, we just ordered a bucket of beer. The beer showed up without a bottle opener. Waiter left and said he will come back with one. No one showed. Our beer started to get cold. So we went ended dining else where for the rest of our stay and had fabulous meals. In fact, the place right across the street and the restaurant at the tiny hotel down the street were great. Another issue we had was the hotel shuttle. They said it would take 45 minutes. More than an hour later we were still waiting. So we ordered Grab bikes. 14k for each bike. Not bad. All in all, we spent a lot of money here and felt disappointed. If we had paid motel prices we would have thought it was fair. Sadly, we can’t give this place good ratings even though we wanted to love it.

There tended to be a lot of mosquitoes in the outdoor bathroom and by the pool at Ware Reno. Got bitten even at breakfast. A program to control them would have been good. Otherwise the resort is sublime

Katamaran Hotel is one of the most beautifully designed hotels we’ve stayed at. Despite its size, it feels warm, inviting, and intimate thanks to the extensive use of natural wood and high-quality materials throughout the property. The service is truly exceptional. Every member of the staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is also impeccably clean, with every area maintained to a very high standard. The breakfast deserves special mention—it is outstanding, offering an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality food and easily ranks among the best hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced. The only downside is the water in front of the hotel. Because of its location close to the harbor, there is often plastic floating in the sea, despite the hotel’s visible efforts to clean it up. In the mornings, you can also see a rainbow-colored film on the water caused by oil from the boats in the harbor. Unfortunately, this makes the water unappealing for swimming.

Un soggiorno bellissimo a Labuan Bajo. Il servizio è stato attento e gentile durante tutta la nostra permanenza, con uno staff sempre disponibile e pronto ad andare incontro alle nostre esigenze. La colazione è di buon livello, con ampia scelta e prodotti di qualità, un ottimo modo per iniziare le giornate di escursione. Molto piacevoli le serate al resort: cene a tema e, in alcune occasioni, musica dal vivo hanno reso l'atmosfera ancora più speciale. Bellissimo l'affaccio diretto sulla spiaggia, perfetto per godersi il tramonto con un drink in mano, uno dei momenti più belli della giornata. Il resort è anche un'ottima base di partenza per le escursioni nel Parco Nazionale di Komodo e nelle isole circostanti, con possibilità di organizzare uscite direttamente in loco. Un indirizzo che consiglio vivamente a chi visita quest'area di Flores: comfort, buon cibo e un servizio davvero curato.

Absolutely loved our stay here - rooms were big, beautiful and clean. Pool was amazing and overlooks the beach with the most stunning of sunsets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
