Clean, quiet and close to MRT. Common areas a bit lacking or small compared to other stays on trip. But easy 20 min walk or cab to the major sites and temples. Also short cab (Grab) or tuk tuk to Chinatown

Great location, with walking distance to Royal Palace. I was surprised how much of a bare minimum the staff was in terms of providing any assistance, whether it was helping us with luggage or telling us about amenities. The rooms are very clean and the pool is nice, but not sure how much sun it gets.

Very nice hotel - with charming service people and a cute and clean pool. Distance to China Town and Great Palace Wat Pho/ Arung also very close - only one Metro Station. Unfortunately at the time of our stay there was street maintenance happening close by -> walk to the next Metro was short but along loud street work.

Great staff and huge, comfortable beds (firmer but comfortable) and a soaking bathtub. Wish both the bath water and the pool had been slightly hotter but still refreshing and relaxing! Great coffee and open spaces for working and reading in the lobby. Every night they brought us a nighttime snack, earplugs and a mask. Great service! There was a little bit of construction on the street which confused some but not all of our Grab drivers and kept me up a little more than I’d liked, but only for one night out of the three. It did look like it was moving down the street but ask and use the earplugs if you’re sensitive to sound like I am! We were able to take the MRT train which is just down the street and easily skip some of the above ground traffic of Bangkok! FYI- there’s a lovely canal nearby that makes for quiet walks inside the city!

We stayed for two nights in the Villa de Pranakorn. Really close to the old town highlights - temples, markets, museums all a short walk away. Plus the boutique nature of the hotel adds a certain charm. We stayed in a deluxe room - comfortable bed and well appointed. The hotel also has a small gym and courtyard pool which is adequate for its size. Breakfast was limited, but perfectly adequate.

Great pool sheltered in the courtyard. Good breakfast options. Good service with welcome drink on arrival and luggage storge. Room was ready a little late but nice lobby to wait in. Only complaint was we were in an adjoining room and the doors were so thin we could hear Everything... needs better sound proofing!

Really nice property and fantastic service from the staff. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were recently updated, clean and spacious. The area surrounding the hotel is under construction and while we weren’t impacted by noise etc it didn’t feel as walkable. GRAB (Uber) was super easy.

Very clean hotel and room. Staff were very friendly, greeting us each time we came back to the hotel. The snacks and drinks in our room were complimentary which was a pleasant touch. The room was clean and in good condition. They provided good quality toiletries so I didn't even use my own. We had a lovely stay.

Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff right in the centre of a great neighbourhood in Bangkok. Several nice restaurants, cafes and sites at walking distance. The only (minor) thing that could be improved is the shower (shower pressure was very low and temperature was inconsistent). However, we would still recommend this hotel!

We were really impressed by the cleanliness of the room. It made the stay much more comfortable. The complimentary drinks and snacks were very nice as well. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We did not use much of the facilities - so we cannot really speak to those. We were out and about for the most part. Very minor inconvenience was the construction around the hotel right now. Just a bit noisy.

Hotellet ligger i gamle Bangkok. Gangavstand til Grand Palace, andre templer, Chinatown og for en gammel backpacker; også gangavstand til Khaosan Road (om man vil ned «memory road»). Ellers finnes også jazz/blues/musikk-klubber i området (25-30 minutter gange). Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!

The hotel i well located, and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and the "swimming pool" is a joke looking far better on the picture. The staff, however, are the most kind people.

The front desk staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean, and free water was provided. Wifi worked well, water pressure and temperature were good, and AC also worked well. Beightbohood was convenient for Chinatown food tour and visiting the temples in Old Town. Overall, would recommend this spot!

Had a very nice time staying here. The King suite was very nice and roomy. The staff were all very attentive and kind. The facilities were clean and upkept. Really enjoyed the inside/outside aspect of the first floor. The neighborhood is nice and seemed relatively local a few fancy coffee shops on the block along with some street vendors, and it’s a comfortable walk to the Golden Mount temple which I highly suggest checking out! There is a fair amount of construction happening for the whole walk from the MRT station, so getting to the hotel from the train was a little bit of a challenge but not too bad.

Deluxe room at back of hotel was large, stylish and quiet. The construction works in the streets beside the hotel were not audible to us so not a problem Lovely staff. Gorgeous bed and high thread count linen. Negative was lack of drawers or shelving in room and bathroom. This made no sense as the room had lots of space for more storage. Tuk tuk into old Bangkok is 100 baht ( or less if you really want to haggle). I’d recommend tuk tuks for shorter journeys but a car for longer trips. Bangkok is huge and some of the sites are a 20-30 minute drive which could shake your teeth out in a tuk tuk.

Zimmer sehr schön und modern, ebenso das Bad. Für Bangkok allerdings nicht ganz günstig. Dusche leider nicht immer warm. Klimaanlage ziemlich laut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straßenseite ("Stadtblick"). Straße war sehr befahren, auch nachts Verkehr. Ohrstöpsel vorteilhaft. Deshalb wegen Zimmerpreis Punkte Abzug. Grosse Baustelle neben Hotel, haben wir aber nachts nichts mitbekommen. Evtl Zimmertausch (nach hinten oder zum Pool) war in unserem Fall nur gegen nicht ganz unerheblichen Aufschlag möglich (andere Kategorie). Also Ohrstöpsel rein. Das war Personal war ansonsten immer freundlich und nett. Lage war prima. Metro (Blue Line) fussläufig. Nettes Café in Hotelnähe.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. The staff was all SO friendly and welcoming, and made our room look special upon arrival. I found the bed and linens to be really comfortable, and I will be the first to say I am very particular about my bed. The hotel breakfast was so delicious - we ordered the American breakfast each day, and especially loved the fresh fruit. The hotel also offers room service and in-room massage packages. We loved how easy it was to walk to the different Wats from the hotel, and still get away from the noise and bustle of the busy streets. I highly recommend staying at Villa de Pranakorn!

I was not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. First of all, although I have already paid for my room through expedia they charged me at the hotel. Unfortunately, I did not notice that when I was there! I’ve been struggling a lot to get my money back from Expedia! About the hotel itself, bed sheets were not clean. General condition of the hotel was poor. Door key was not properly working. Bathroom sink was clogged. Breakfast was so bad that we decided to eat outside the second day! I’m very unhappy! I do not recommend this hotel.

The staff at Villa de Pranakorn were always at the ready to help. They hailed taxis, dashed to open doors, loaded my scooter in and out of taxi trunks and consistently asked about my stay. It’s the right place to stay in old town.

Location was great- could walk to most points of interest or take nearby metro. Hotel was clean, staff very helpful, pleasant & professional. Good breakfast choices—good food during first stay but different cook during 2nd stay was definitely challenged cooking eggs! Great option for a stay in the old city section. 5-8 min walk to the closest MTR station. Also short walking distance to the Khon theatre (don’t miss this after Grand Palace visit as it’s part of the ticket) and Golden Mount (across from which we had the best coffee of our stay). Decent restaurants and great “street food” choices nearby. We had a room on the canal side which was very quiet. In Dec 2024 there is construction ongoing (to extend the underground MTR) in the area making it less walkable but the city had staff at each intersection to assist with pedestrian crossing.

Lovely hotel in a great location to explore Bangkok. Metro is a 10min walk or if you are feeling more energetic The GrandPalace area, China Town etc are about a 25min walk. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, good shower. Everything you need as a base to explore the city

Great hotel and restaurant in Old Town Bangkok within easy walking distance of most major attractions such as the grand palace, wat pho, Chinatown night market, khao San road. The staff were one of the best parts of our stay, just so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for your stay in Old Town Bangkok!

Bon séjour à la villa de Pranakorn à Bangkok. Nous avons apprécié la chambre spacieuse propre et confortable, le petit déjeuner simple mais bon et la situation proche des temples permettant de visiter le centre historique à pied. En revanche, lors de notre séjour le quartier était en travaux: beaucoup de bruit et de circulation lorsqu’on sort de l’hôtel, déviations piétons pour circuler … De plus peu d’options de restauration à proximité, nous n’avons pas testé le restaurant de l’hôtel qui pratique des prix raisonnables pour nous mais exorbitants au regard des tarifs locaux. L’accueil est courtois et souriant, mais n’attendez pas des conseils pour organiser vos visites ou repas dans la capitale.

This is an excellent property and good value for your money. Great location close to Chinatown and popular Temples. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast a la carte was delicious.
