Updated quiet spacious very clean rooms. Comfortable mattress. Thick supersiized towels.Pub had good food at decent prices. Guest hallway like another sitting room with access to dining balcony overlooking lovely beer garden. Dislikes are minor: no hairdryer; tv remote buttons wete difficult to use; no guest parking, street parking can get busy with pub patrons, and as a renovated Victorian building, access to guest rooms is via stairs only. If youre ok with 1 flight of stairs, the effort is worth the stay.

Clean room with nice bathroom. Unfortunately cigarette smoke from the bar downstairs could be smelled in the room. Also noise from the bar patrons, both downstairs in the bar and in the beer garden, was disturbing until midmight. No onsite parking, but timed street parking can be avoided by using council carpark at the rear.

Staff are very good, Resturant is of good quality and handy. Beware of parking late hours in back car park as access back gate is locked at 9ish.then a walk around half the block is needed to get to the front entrance.

Comfortable room, good bathroom, etc. Unfortunately, we had one of 3 or 4 rooms that open onto a balcony that overlooks the (excellent and popular) beer garden. Very noisy during pub open hours, which wasn't really a problem but the early morning beer garden cleanup and other guests having early breakfasts on the balcony was disturbing. Convenient for town and restaurants.

Great room, very compact but all that was needed. Lovely lounge area outside room along with an outside verandah area overlooking the beer garden. No complaints!

I enjoyed our stay at this Pub in Orange. The rooms are upstairs and have doors that divide areas for extra security at night. The car park was good but does get locked up overnight so you need to check on times there in case you go out. The location is fantastic. We stayed in Room 1 King Deluxe which was large, updated and very comfortable. The window faces a nice park but did let some traffic noise in as it also overlooked the main street. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - great value and great location.

Very convenient to the main street, restaurants, and cafes. Well priced and the room was just like a renovated motel room. Whole pub was clean and nicely appointed. The lounge chairs in the common area outside the rooms was very handy as we had friends staying in other rooms so it was a good place to meet up. There’s nothing I could improve on. We’ve booked for another stay in September

Staff are great rooms are nice with modern bathroom. The only problem we had was pulled back the sheets at bed time to find the bed hadn't been changed after the previous person found blood on the top sheet and the bottom sheet was everywhere. Thanks to the young manager on that night who organised the lovely girls behind the bar to make our bed with clean sheets.

The staff were friendly. We had a very enjoyable meal @ the bistro. I rated it 2 stars because we were disgusted with the condition of our room.there were blood stains on the carpet. The bed was uncomfortable & had what looked like a human stain on the quilt.the coffee cups were not clean

Firstly, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in my life! Very comfortable and check in/out was straight forward and easy. The room we stayed in had a nice view of the park. Location is on the main strip so lots of options within walking distance for food. I still can't get over how clean it was... Only thing to note is that the rooms are situated right above the pub so can be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights as even after it closes, patrons will sometimes gather on the sidewalk below and continue the night. However, we had the foresight to bring earplugs so was no problem for us. Exceeded expectations by a long shot and happily recommend for a stay in Orange.

Incredible gem of the West. Fantastic hotel. Beautifully restored. The BEST shower EVER. Spacious AND excellent water pressure and great temperature. Huge bed. Loads of pillows and linen. Immaculately clean. Cleaned room daily. Complimentary water in fridge. Air con quiet.

Lovely old pub , with good pub food , and a decent selection of beers on tap. Central to Orange with a beautiful park right next door. The only negative thing I can say about the place is the televisions in the accommodation have appalling reception.

Centrally located in CBD in orange. No complaints about the hotel. The downfall are the hoons speeding up and down the street in the evening and the rabble of people loitering in the street disturbing sleep. Don't accept a room facing the street. No peace in the evenings especially on Friday and Saturday nights. My friends had a room away from the street and had no issues.

It was clean and modern and quiet mostly. Only issue I had was the room faced a brick wall and there was no ability to open the window for fresh air. The air conditioner had to be on all the time and it struggled to get to a temperature ok for sleeping. I found it quite claustrophobic. Next time I will ask for a room that opens and has a view outside. I will definitely stay there again.

Spacious room, clean tidy and comfortable. Good food downstairs. Unfortunately the air conditioner didn’t work, no opening windows, some where over 29 degrees ( max showing on controller) when we arrived, dropped to 25 by first light, not very pleasant.

Couldn’t stay in the hotel due to the smoke drift from the gaming rooms below - irritated my nose and throat too much and as I’m a singer spent less than 15 minutes in the room. Attempted a refund but it seems staff were always busy and couldn’t manage it so we were still charged for two rooms.

There was issue when my business associate check in after me, and he advised he required to pay with his credit card, instead the staff member didn't listen correctly, and my credit card charge instead for his accommodation. It was to hard and complicated, and it couldn't be fixed. It felt more like the staff member couldn't be bothered to want to correct his mistake and tried blaming us instead.

It was to hard and complicated, and it couldn't be fixed. It felt more like the staff member couldn't be bothered to want to correct his mistake and tried blaming us instead.

It was all good until I returned to the building after breakfast to find the key would not open the door. I knocked, banged, rattled the doors and eventually a cleaner let me in and said the key should open the door. If you stay here, make sure to physically check that the key opens the door.

Centrally located in CBD in orange. No complaints about the hotel. The downfall are the hoons speeding up and down the street in the evening and the rabble of people loitering in the street disturbing sleep. Don't accept a room facing the street. No peace in the evenings especially on Friday and Saturday nights. My friends had a room away from the street and had no issues.

We enjoyed our stay at this property which is conveniently located in Orange within walking distance to retail stores, cafes & Art Gallery. The room was spacious & the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The Bistro served delicious meals.

Nice big family room, great shower, the wifi worked. Good location too, right on the main street. Would consider again on our next Orange visit.

I enjoyed our stay at this Pub in Orange. The rooms are upstairs and have doors that divide areas for extra security at night. The car park was good but does get locked up overnight so you need to check on times there in case you go out. The location is fantastic. We stayed in Room 1 King Deluxe which was large, updated and very comfortable. The window faces a nice park but did let some traffic noise in as it also overlooked the main street. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - great value and great location.

Very convenient to the main street, restaurants, and cafes. Well priced and the room was just like a renovated motel room. Whole pub was clean and nicely appointed. The lounge chairs in the common area outside the rooms was very handy as we had friends staying in other rooms so it was a good place to meet up. There’s nothing I could improve on. We’ve booked for another stay in September

I booked this room as I only needed somewhere to sleep, and would have been happy with much less. The private guest area was really nice, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The dining room was clean and the meal was great. Totally recommended.

This property is excellent value for money. Comfortable bed, great shower with good water pressure and the location works well. Highly recommend getting dinner downstairs too.

We loved our stay at this property. We came over from New Zealand for a wedding. We stayed three nights, staff excellent, excellent food, happy with the bed very comfortable. The only suggestion is to put hooks on the back of the bathroom door.

Room was large and very clean. Comfortable beds. Restaurant was convenient, had tasty meals and was good value. We only booked in for our first night for the restaurant , but returned on our second. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Whilst the rooms are spotless, comfy bed and the bathroom are super clean and modern, there was only one coat hanger, remote for TV with flat batteries, and no lounge chair (only a dining one). Extremely annoyed that the King room advertised as being located in the quieter part, it was in fact the noisiest I’ve possibly had anywhere in the world! [Rooms 15-17] Over the downstairs bar, thumping live music Friday night, recorded music Saturday night, overlooks the Main Street of Orange with large trucks thundering through and noisy and inconsiderate guests in rooms opposite. Oh and the permanent smell of cigarette smoke residue from gaming room at street entry, Given we had two rooms for 3 nights, really unhappy with zero response from management. Reception and bar staff were lovely and kind. Handy having restaurant downstairs, supermarket and fabulous cafe/bakery in neighbouring street. Stay elsewhere if you want peace and quiet.
