Historic Luxury House in the Heart of Meteora

The house was not as described. There was not any type of luxury. Of the three bedrooms, the main bedroom on the second floor smelled so bad we could not sleep in there. One of the bottom floor bedrooms had a bed that creaked soooo extremely loud when you moved that it sounded like the entire bedroom furniture was moving. To say the least we did not sleep well. We were two adults and two kids and since the one bedroom was not usable we had to squeeze together. The living room is tiny and the couch does not fit more than two people to sit comfortably.

Nice place right up against the mountain. Easy access to town.

Location was great and the views were amazing. Easily walkable to town or the trail to hike the monasteries. It was a little hard to find but we were able to call the landlord right away and get the correct address. It is nice but very basic and not necessarily luxurious but was roomy and had everything we needed. Not knowing we had to turn on the hot water heater and that we had to pay some sort of tax in cash were the only 2 hiccups.

Generally good, but could use a few items that were short like mugs and wine glasses. Also both showers need some work, one a longer curtain the other licks from the base. Just basics.

Beautiful home in Meteora. The rock formations are absolutely stunning from any angle in the town. It's a 10 min walk to the center to have a nice bite to eat..
