Wellington Two Bedroom Cottage With Stunning Views Of Lake Ontario

We love the Viv and the location and this is our second time staying there. Just a couple of small hiccups - getting the lockbox open was hard to negotiate, the smoke detectors kept Going and had to be changed, the sink needed a stopper which we bought and the sink leaked to the kitchen floor. Otherwise we’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful clean cottage. Great location. Easy walk to the main street. Beach access and beautiful walk into the water. Quiet. My wife and I will certainly come back

Great little cottage right by the lake.

My daughters come each year to the Viv for our annual mother daughter weekend away. We love this location as it is right on the water and a short walk into town. The management is extremely accommodating and very responsive which we really appreciate. I understand that there are new owners and have painted the place so it is nice and fresh. However all the hooks were removed and no place to hang your coats at front door and no hooks in primary bedroom or in bathroom. It would be ideal to have a lot of hooks added to the cottage. We hope to be back

We are water-view-loving people and The Viv didn’t disappoint. We really enjoyed our peaceful breakfasts and dinners on the front deck staring at the water. Our neighbours and other Wellington dwellers were friendly folks too. Small quibble in that a few things were missing upon check in (tea, coffee, second key) and the bbq ran out of propane on second night but these things were rectified quickly for the most part. And we’d love to return.
