Beautiful 1st floor Mid Century Modern decor throughout including matching and large quality of dinnerware.Parking, for us, was private and very close to the entrance. Beautiful walking path to door with a porch. Directions & posting was spot on with no complicated departure instructions.Rooms were spacious and updated with quality furnishings and mattresses were great! She had direction for TV and a binder for guests information plainly and thoughtfully available.She had plenty of extras amenities, like quality soaps, shampoo, conditioners, a black wash towel for makeup removal plus individual wrapped make removals wipes. Kleenex in the bathrooms, extra towels, mints, a bottle of wine, ice cubes with scoop, spices just to name a few. The whole apartment was very quiet and well insulated for noise. Plumbing was quiet with lots of hot water & strong pressure , extra air conditioner in bedroom with a stackable washer and dryer too!Less then 5 min walking distance from Main Street area with shops, food, coffee and ice cream shops. Walk another block to River dock (Granite City Park) and sit on the Adirondack chairs, look for the jumping fish, ducks paddling by and much more. Best experience!!

It was perfect for our girls only weekend. Had everything we needed and then some. Perfect location for walking downtown to shop and have some good food. The retro feel of the apartment was so fun. Appreciated plenty of parking at this stay as well. Thank you for our much needed R and R.

My wife and I have used VRBO throughout the US and Canada, and this property is definitely in our top 5 ! It is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Hallowell, and it is only a few minute drive to the state capital, Augusta. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property was spotless, and the owner's furnishings were gorgeous. Parking and entry to the apartment were easy, as were instructions for the WIFI and washer/dryer unit. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again !

We had a wonderful stay! The house was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and clearly put thought into the details — the coffee, snacks, and little extras made it feel extra welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their guests. The vacation rental was wonderful. The location was very convenient to walking to downtown eateries and shopping. The unit itself was extremely clean and tidy throughout. The decor was nicely coordinated and very well put together. We would definitely stay here again.

This 2 bedroom apartment was VERY CLEAN and the perfect venue for a get-away with friends. This property was filled with bonus items for convenience (like tissue boxes in the bedrooms and milk & butter in the fridge!) and had a great vintage vibe. Fantastic restaurants and unique shops were a short walk away (even amidst a cold Maine January). We will be booking our yearly trip again here next year!!

Just perfect!!! Soaker tub, awesome shower, we walked to everything, sat by the water and watched the Sturgeon’s splash, walked to Slate’s Bakery in the morning The place is as nice as the pictures. We plan to stay longer next time

We loved staying here. My daughter commented that it felt bigger than the photo portrayed . A very comfortable space. Lots of thoughtful touches. We loved the proximity to downtown. Such a fun town, cute shops and yummy restaurants. Comfortable beds!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Very clean, accommodating and inviting. Comfortable beds and available hosts! Pam suggested The Liberal Cup for dinner when we asked and it was a perfect way to wrap up our evening in lovely Hallowell! Highly recommend this rental!

The host was very communicative with me for this trip..I was traveling with 2 senior citizens... the apartment is great...so clean and had some staples of food and drink..Everything was easy to use and in working order...only a blocks walk away to town so my husband and I could escape for a drink. There are several restaurants to choose from. We definitely will stay here again.

Plumbing was quiet with lots of hot water & strong pressure , extra air conditioner in bedroom with a stackable washer and dryer too!Less then 5 min walking distance from Main Street area with shops, food, coffee and ice cream shops. Walk another block to River dock (Granite City Park) and sit on the Adirondack chairs, look for the jumping fish, ducks paddling by and much more. Best experience!!

This 2 bedroom apartment was VERY CLEAN and the perfect venue for a get-away with friends. This property was filled with bonus items for convenience (like tissue boxes in the bedrooms and milk & butter in the fridge!) and had a great vintage vibe. Fantastic restaurants and unique shops were a short walk away (even amidst a cold Maine January). We will be booking our yearly trip again here next year!!

It was perfect for our girls only weekend. Had everything we needed and then some. Perfect location for walking downtown to shop and have some good food. The retro feel of the apartment was so fun. Appreciated plenty of parking at this stay as well. Thank you for our much needed R and R.

The vacation rental was wonderful. The location was very convenient to walking to downtown eateries and shopping. The unit itself was extremely clean and tidy throughout. The decor was nicely coordinated and very well put together. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here. My daughter commented that it felt bigger than the photo portrayed . A very comfortable space. Lots of thoughtful touches. We loved the proximity to downtown. Such a fun town, cute shops and yummy restaurants. Comfortable beds!

My wife and I have used VRBO throughout the US and Canada, and this property is definitely in our top 5 ! It is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Hallowell, and it is only a few minute drive to the state capital, Augusta. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property was spotless, and the owner's furnishings were gorgeous. Parking and entry to the apartment were easy, as were instructions for the WIFI and washer/dryer unit. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again !

We were excited about hearing that the Johnaon Hall Opera House was reopening in Gardiner and when we saw Lyle Lovett was going to perform there...the only thing left to do was find a place to stay. We loved this place!! So convenient to walk around Hallowell and enjoy antique, floral, gift shops as well as a plethera of places to grab a craft cocktail, local brew or bite to eat. Getting home from the concert and finding cheese crackers was a nice bonus. The only stressor was to choose which delicious coffee to brew in the morning. The accomadations were spacious, comfortable and just so cute!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and clearly put thought into the details — the coffee, snacks, and little extras made it feel extra welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their guests. We are sorry to disturb the owner with the lockbox but we were at the wrong door at the beginning 😝our fault!! We found everything needed in the apartment ( coffe, condiments). It’s a cozy and confortable place to stay. My boy playing hockey at Kents Hill we will definitively try to rent again later this year! Thank you very much

Great neighborhood. Walking distance to small town restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Short drive to Augusta with much more shopping and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen with many extras. Bathroom has tub/shower combination that is very nice, but as a senior I found it dfficult to step over the tub to get into the shower.

What a wonderful place to stay! Quaint, quiet, easy to get to. Check-in was a breeze, everything was very well decorated, and easy to find everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Hallowell or Augusta area. Just a short drive over to the state Capitol building, or other points within Augusta. It was a quick stay, but I would also stay there for an extended period of time.
