This was a beautiful space - but really a bit small for four travelers. There is no place to put your suitcases down and the floor space is very limited, so it was hard to walk around once we opened our suitcases The room was roasting hot when we arrived and we had to open windows. The beds were very comfortable. Some of the lights were literally not working. The staircase is very narrow….. It was OK for kids to sleep up there, but it’s really more like a nook than a full of bed

The apartment was small but super cute and the setting stunning! Located right next to the falls with Mountain views. Very charming. We enjoyed our stay very much! It is very expensive.

These are individual cabins in a stunning setting with waterfalls in the background. The interiors and exterior are beautifully designed in a modern esthetic. Unfortunately for us, the common lodge (lobby, sauna, restaurant) is still under construction and it wasn’t entirely clear when we booked it that there would be no other amenities besides our cabin. The access road as a result was an uneven construction road, which was not ideal. For the price of this luxury accommodation, we had some other small expectations - there was no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion; all communication was through a ChatBot and then follow up chatting with individuals. It was nice to have the privacy, but also somewhat lacking in welcome.

The standalone cabin was very well appointed. Great layout in a grassy meadow with picturesque views of waterfalls. The best part of this property is that you have 24/7 access to Seljanfoss waterfalls. We drove the 6 minute drive to the falls at 11:30 at night. We were able to experience the waterfalls with 10 other people! I believe the property is building a restaurant which would be a Boone since the only other food around this area is a 20 minute drive. Note there is no reception area to check in. The only hiccup was that we had to phone the property manager to have access to our place. Luckily, they answered quickly and resolved the issue.

I contacted the property more than a month before my stay to ask whether the construction was near the cabins, and was told there would be no construction during the summer. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was active construction with piles of dirt and construction vehicles visible, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere the property is designed to provide. We were assigned one of the rear cabins, which was closest to the construction area. Instead of the unobstructed waterfall view shown in many of the property’s photos, our windows looked toward construction equipment and dirt piles. The location of this cabin significantly affected our overall experience. The cabin also had no thermostat or temperature control. Like several other reviewers have mentioned, it was extremely hot when we arrived. We had to open the windows to cool it down, which allowed many flies to enter. I’m giving this property two stars because I believe our stay could have been much more enjoyable under different circumstances, such as after the construction is fully completed or in a cabin with a better location. At the time of our visit, the experience did not match our expectations.
