Absolutely perfect for large families and pets. Fully fenced in back yard. Very close to the beach. The hosts were fabulous. He checked in with us to see if we needed anything . We loved the cottage charm. Would definitely stay here again.

Needed a pet friendly home for a quick stay. Very nice and inviting hosts. Easy check in. Nice quiet neighborhood. Giant fenced backyard for the dog. Comfortable and clean residence. Would stay here again.

We had a great time here, with 2 teenagers and a dog. We ran to the beach in less than 5 min. Our dog enjoyed the large yard. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. We enjoyed the hot springs at the Sycamore Mineral Springs resort. The house was clean and fully stocked. Jon and Melany were great hosts and very responsive. It was a pleasure to interact with them. We will come back if we are in the area!

We had a quick stopover in Grover Beach on the way up north and had a great stay! The place was comfortable, clean and had some fun toys (fooseball) for the teens! The hosts were very helpful; calling to make sure we got in ok, restaurant recommendations and very easy to communicate with. I then had a lovely walk on the beach in the morning and quick to jump back on the road!

The house was nice as it slept all 5 of us adults very comfortably with the 3 nice king beds. The house had plenty of room as well. The only complaint was that the couches were extremely uncomfortable for sitting and watching tv or a movie. I also would suggest bringing your own towels. There were not enough for all of us so we had to buy some at Walmart. It was nice to have a washer and dryer though, so we could wash the towels that were there. Location was nice and close to Pismo and beach and restaurants.

Great stay for a couple of days. Super cute little old house with short walk to a great beach and wonderful local coffee shop. Owner was very communicative, friendly and helpful. Comfortable bedrooms/beds. Could use a few updates: couches/futons very uncomfortable; front bathroom shower doesn’t work great; cute deck with bistro lights but backyard is overgrown with plants and filled with old, broken furniture.

The hosts were wonderful and the house was spotless. It is as described, a 1935 beach house. I loved the vintage kitchen and it is rare to have a large fenced in yard at the beach. Perfect location for visiting Pismo and the area. The only suggestion for improving our stay would be to fix the spongy floor in the back bedroom.

Very cute 1930 built home, has all the old-style charm of an older house. Very clean. Very large yard, great for dogs. Close to shopping, restaurants and beach. Hosts are super responsive to any requests, great follow up and communication. Definitely would stay there again.

Hmmm, where to start. The house was super clean and close to stores, the beach and restaurants. There was 5 of us and the two girls shared a room, my mom and I shared a room and the only boy had his own room. The beds are huge and comfy. Check in was so easy. I loved the fact that they did check in with us to see if we had any questions etc….. they have a sun room (that’s what I call it) and I was the first one up and hung out there with a cup of coffee-for some me time. The first morning I didn’t know where my mom put the coffee but it was ok because we were able to use there’s. Everything that we needed was there and easy to find So do not be hesitant on this property to stay at. Trust me it’s so wonderful!!!!! These people think of everything. Even had mints by the bed in each room. I had asked if there was any instructions when we check out like stripping the beds etc…. Jon’s response was nothing at all, your on vacation. I truly enjoyed that. So go on and rent this place, you will be glad you did it.

The second unit from the same owners. Awful like the other one. This one has mold growing on the bed mattress! Filthy! Totally disgusting and misrepresenting the pictures on the website. VRBO you need to supervise your properties. A refund for both properties is definitely in order

Adorable, clean, comfortable, and cute home in a great location with A+ hosts! Melany and Jon were super easy to work and communicate with. Came for nephew’s wedding in SLO and this amazing home was truly the icing on the cake. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!

Maison très bien située à 10 min de la plage et très calme. Lits très spacieux. Maison pleine de charme mais assez ancienne avec des équipements anciens. Très bien pour un séjour de courte de durée. En revanche l'équipement pour la cuisine est assez léger - peu de choses si on veut cuisiner. Quelques équipements très anciens et pas très propres : baignoire par ex. très ancienne et qui "fait" pas propre - d'ailleurs personne n'a voulu l'utiliser en préférant la douche. Des poeles pas propres non plus. Propriétaires très agréables et avenants de notre arrivée à notre départ.

We just spent a long weekend at this home. It has everything you need to make it 'home' for a while. The beds are very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc and just down the street from the vehicle beach entrance. Highly recommend.

Dreamy old school beach cottage! And perfectly decorated to amp up the space’s vintage charm. Cozy yet with a surprising number of bedrooms and private outdoor spaces. A short easy walk to the fabulous beach and trails. Peaceful and quiet but minutes away from the hurly burly of Pismo. Friendly welcoming hosts who communicated via phone and text answering all our questions about where to get groceries etc. We’re so glad that we decided to give our daughter and her little dog a ride to LA from SF because needing a dog friendly place led us here.

Jon and Melany were fabulous hosts in their communication and responsiveness - the check-in process was very efficient and their support was always just a speedy text/call away. The 3 king size beds are comfy and were more than what we needed. Their generous pet policy was also great for bringing our furry children along with our toddlers on this trip up the beautiful central CA coast to view the wintering monarchs. Speaking of which, the location couldn't have been more perfect for visiting the Monarch Butterfly Preserve - the population was very healthy this year and we had a spectacular viewing that made our trip. Proximity to Grover Beach is also fantastic and the hosts have plenty of great restaurant recommendations for their guests. It was a very quick trip for us but Jon and Melany's kindness and attentiveness made this booking feel like 100% the right choice for what we needed.

The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are happy and have what you need. They are very responsive and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone and their stuff. Bathrooms are small and counter space in bathrooms is limited. some mirrors in the bedrooms could be useful but overall the house is stocked with everything you need and is very clean. Great location super close to the beach!

It was nice, some of the pullouts werent comfortable to sit on but the beds were all fine. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Nice and quiet. Easy to drive to the Cal Poly tour.

We stayed one night at this cozy, beachy home. It's spacious and charming and it had everything we needed! The decor is adorable and the beds are comfortable! The 5 minute walk to the beach is a plus! I had a broken leg at the time, and this house is very accessible. Highly recommend!

We came in with two sets of grand parents to attend an event in San Luis Obispo. House was very easy to find, walkable to the beach. Fins Bar & Grill by the beach had a local band performing. Morning breakfast at Station Grill, the place was perfectly located. Everyone slept well in each King Bed. All the basic amenities you would want for a little getaway.

The place is exactly as pictured and fit our family of 7 adults ages from 20s to 60s and we all slept comfortably. It’s very close to adorable little breakfast and restaurant spots nearby. The best part was how responsive the hosts were! They came by to say hello and give us a short overview of the place and came back a second time after accidentally blowing a fuse which was fixed quickly and without hassle! They were truly amazing!!

Melany & Jon are top notch hosts, checking in and being available for any and all questions. Just a few blocks from the Grover beach front and quick 5 minute drive to Pismo, this was perfect as a home base for our family of 7.

The hosts were very helpful; calling to make sure we got in ok, restaurant recommendations and very easy to communicate with. I then had a lovely walk on the beach in the morning and quick to jump back on the road!

Adorable, clean, comfortable, and cute home in a great location with A+ hosts! Melany and Jon were super easy to work and communicate with. Came for nephew’s wedding in SLO and this amazing home was truly the icing on the cake. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!

Jon and Melany were fabulous hosts in their communication and responsiveness - the check-in process was very efficient and their support was always just a speedy text/call away. The 3 king size beds are comfy and were more than what we needed. Their generous pet policy was also great for bringing our furry children along with our toddlers on this trip up the beautiful central CA coast to view the wintering monarchs. Speaking of which, the location couldn't have been more perfect for visiting the Monarch Butterfly Preserve - the population was very healthy this year and we had a spectacular viewing that made our trip. Proximity to Grover Beach is also fantastic and the hosts have plenty of great restaurant recommendations for their guests. It was a very quick trip for us but Jon and Melany's kindness and attentiveness made this booking feel like 100% the right choice for what we needed.

The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are happy and have what you need. They are very responsive and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone and their stuff. Bathrooms are small and counter space in bathrooms is limited. some mirrors in the bedrooms could be useful but overall the house is stocked with everything you need and is very clean. Great location super close to the beach!

We had a great 4 day stay over the holidays and it was perfect for our mostly adult family to gather and enjoy each others company in. Melany and Jon were extremely helpful and gracious hosts. We are already talking about coming back in the warmer months!

Jon & Melany were amazing hosts! Communcation was very easy with text and responded right away. They provided recommendations of where to eat and shop, which were nearby, if you walked or drove. It's great that access to the beach was nearby.

We just spent a long weekend at this home. It has everything you need to make it 'home' for a while. The beds are very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc and just down the street from the vehicle beach entrance. Highly recommend.

Dreamy old school beach cottage! And perfectly decorated to amp up the space’s vintage charm. Cozy yet with a surprising number of bedrooms and private outdoor spaces. A short easy walk to the fabulous beach and trails. Peaceful and quiet but minutes away from the hurly burly of Pismo. Friendly welcoming hosts who communicated via phone and text answering all our questions about where to get groceries etc. We’re so glad that we decided to give our daughter and her little dog a ride to LA from SF because needing a dog friendly place led us here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during a Pismo weekend. The location was great, close enough to everything without being in the middle of the chaos that is downtown Pismo. The owners were a delight and always get us informed. The house had a perfect beach charm. We will stay again next time in Pismo.

Came for an alumni function at Cal Poly with my parents, wife and two kids (6 and 3). Kids loved it. Super nice and accommodating hosts. Super great location walking distance to the beach and a bunch of great restaurants. Would 100% stay again.

We had a blast this past weekend - the house is located in a perfect location, near to a variety of great resources, including food, the Pismo butterfly groves, golf courses, and much more. The hosts were incredibly responsive and were able to help us with questions as they arose. Would highly recommend staying here!

We escaped norcal for a few days with the kids and our dog. The house was in a perfect location to walk to the beach. You can’t be the price for what you get with this cute lil beach house.

It was nice, some of the pullouts werent comfortable to sit on but the beds were all fine. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Nice and quiet. Easy to drive to the Cal Poly tour.

We stayed one night at this cozy, beachy home. It's spacious and charming and it had everything we needed! The decor is adorable and the beds are comfortable! The 5 minute walk to the beach is a plus! I had a broken leg at the time, and this house is very accessible. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a few nights with our boys to visit Cal Poly and enjoy the Central California beaches. We chose this house based on the description and reviews and man were they spot on. Super comfy classic beach cottage with unique layout. Walkable to great restaurants and beach but also close to the freeway for exploring. Comfortable beds! My teen son loved the somewhat detached sun room that served as his bedroom. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

Jon & Melany were great hosts! Location was superb and the classic beach bungalow feel of the rental was on point. The minor items that came up were addressed swiftly and the working with us on a later departure couldn’t have gone smoother or been more accommodated. Overall the location has been saved for future family get togethers for years to come!
