The hotel was in an incredible location!! Steps away from the centre, shopping and restaurants. The view from the window in our room was breathtaking. Getting to the hotel, dropping off our bags, and then finding parking was a bit of an ordeal. The staff and hotel made it all worth it though!

This hotel is so historical, be prepared for lots of artifacts to observe. There is an elevator, but expect so steps. The location is excellent in Montepulciano, right on the Grand Plaza.

Right off the main piazza, renovated, clean, AC, and I upgraded to a room with amazing views. Parking was down a bit further, but in reserved space, so I felt safe leaving the car and didn't need it while I stayed a few days in Montepulciano. Hotel common areas are quite lovely and unique and I learned "Riccio" is hedgehog, so then understood the predominant presence of these cute creatures throughout. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful historical property situated in the heart of Montepulciano with car parking available a short walk away. Our room was very comfortable with lovely period furnishings. The hotel has a small but very pretty rooftop terrace with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This hotel was fantastic - the name means "Hedgehog." Location is just off the main square and features a beautiful courtyard and grand marble staircase. There is an incredible rooftop terrace which was a nice surprise. The hotel reserves several parking spots a few blocks away. Great place to spend several days

Everything was beautiful and location was great. If you're in good shape and don't have a huge amount of luggage, ask for the final parking location in advance and just go there. It's a long hike up a hill, but in our opinion walking would have been preferred to driving our rental through the heart of town, which was easily the most stressful part of our trip.

Lovely hotel. Right next to the historic town center and extremely close to the wineries and great restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and provided a lovely view of the valley. The family that runs the hotel are so kind and happy to answer questions and are very accommodating. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend the hotel.

Holy cow the best stay I've ever experienced!!! We had a room right off the main lobby/breakfast area. It had a beautiful balcony that overlooked amazing hillsides surrounding Montepulciano. The staff were all so accommodating and sweet! Breakfast was delicious and fresh! The room was comfortable and super clean! We will definitely return here on our next visit!!!

Lovely, family owned palazzo with warm and welcoming hosts who treat you like family from arrival to departure. We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Delicious cappuccinos and wonderful strudel!

This accomodation exceeded our expectation. It is a well maintained, clean and beautiful accomodation in the heart of Montepulciano. The service was extrodinary. They provided instructions on parking and ZTL with perfection including restaurant reccomendations and key sights to see. However, they did not provide an iron in the rooms and only oferred to iron our clothes after midday (which is too late) - this being the only inconvenience we faced.

This historic hotel is a wonderful location for touring Montepulciano and Tuscany. The staff was eager to help with dinner and vineyard tour reservations. Our room was off the breakfast room and we didn't hear the other guests at all.

This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!

I stayed for 2 nights in a very hot July. The Air Conditioning was great. Breakfast every morning consisted of homemade pies and cakes that were delicious assorted cereals, yogurt and coffee. I had a delightful stay.

This family run (I think 7 generations!) hotel is quaint, cozy, wonderful and some rooms have amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyable and we'd stay there again. Very good location but note that parking is a hike - typical of any place in historical area of the city. Excellent staff, and very helpful.

A Walk Thru History! Very Nice! Warm welcome upon arrival and a beautiful room with outdoor terrace perfect for early morning coffee and afternoon relaxation! The history of the property and the family was a wonderful insight! We were there as the season was winding down and several restaurants were closed on the days we were there. The recommendations from the staff were perfect! Breakfast was served each morning and a great start to each day!

This historic hotel is a wonderful location for touring Montepulciano and Tuscany. The staff was eager to help with dinner and vineyard tour reservations. Our room was off the breakfast room and we didn't hear the other guests at all.

Meuble Il Riccio is such a beautiful quaint property that's close to the main piazza. Short distance to a couple of wineries for wine tastings. Great place to stay.

Stopped in Montepulciano for a wine tasting tour. Found the hotel on Facebook and thought it would be unique. It was situated just off the old town square. It truly was a unique time in the heart of a medieval city. We were thrilled. The hotel was updated unbelievably well and had great decorations. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and was very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend it.

This hotel is so historical, be prepared for lots of artifacts to observe. There is an elevator, but expect so steps. The location is excellent in Montepulciano, right on the Grand Plaza.

Right off the main piazza, renovated, clean, AC, and I upgraded to a room with amazing views. Parking was down a bit further, but in reserved space, so I felt safe leaving the car and didn't need it while I stayed a few days in Montepulciano. Hotel common areas are quite lovely and unique and I learned "Riccio" is hedgehog, so then understood the predominant presence of these cute creatures throughout. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Situato nel centro storico, in un palazzo d’epoca reso accogliente, elegante e caldo. La stanza ampia e curata in ogni dettaglio. La sala per la colazione è bellissima e anche se non ho mangiato, ho visto una grande varietà di prodotti fatti in casa. Il personale è professionale e gentile. La nostra camera aveva in balcone con una vista spettacolare con un tavolino e due sedie. Abbiamo potuto lasciare il bagaglio per fare un altro giro per la città prima di partire. Non manca proprio nulla per rendere la vacanza perfetta.

Holy cow the best stay I've ever experienced!!! We had a room right off the main lobby/breakfast area. It had a beautiful balcony that overlooked amazing hillsides surrounding Montepulciano. The staff were all so accommodating and sweet! Breakfast was delicious and fresh! The room was comfortable and super clean! We will definitely return here on our next visit!!!

This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!

A Walk Thru History! Very Nice! Warm welcome upon arrival and a beautiful room with outdoor terrace perfect for early morning coffee and afternoon relaxation! The history of the property and the family was a wonderful insight! We were there as the season was winding down and several restaurants were closed on the days we were there. The recommendations from the staff were perfect! Breakfast was served each morning and a great start to each day!

Lovely, family owned palazzo with warm and welcoming hosts who treat you like family from arrival to departure. We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Delicious cappuccinos and wonderful strudel!

I stayed for 2 nights in a very hot July. The Air Conditioning was great. Breakfast every morning consisted of homemade pies and cakes that were delicious assorted cereals, yogurt and coffee. I had a delightful stay.

Charming historic property very close to Piazza grande. Comfortable room. So glad we picked the view to the valley. It was amazing. Bathroom is small and dated but served its purpose. Don’t miss the Panoramic terrace. Unlike most hotels in Italy, Breakfast not included here Driving to this location is a bit of a challenge with modern size cars but you can drop your bags and then must park outside ZTL.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Montepulchiano. Hotel staff treated us like family. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to manage. Appreciated the parking, even tho it was shortly off-site. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the balcony/view and the rooftop patio, where we enjoyed the bottle of wine we picked up at the little winery tasting room just across the ally from our hotel entrance. The 10 euro breakfast was lovely. Our only small complaint was the air conditioning was not really working. To be fair, it was unusually hot while we were there. Thankful we had personal fans which helped out. Lovely lil spot.

This property is amazing. The staff/owners were very kind & helpful. I only wished that I spoke Italian, instead, they needed to work at translation, which they did very kindly. The place is magical, with views one only dreams of. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Parking is a little inconvenient, but that is true of the city.
