We have stayed at many VRBO apartments and houses all over the world. This was truly one of our favorites. Perfect location for exploring all of Stockholm. Wonderful restaurants and cafes within steps from the place. Hedvig was very helpful and the apartment was the perfect size for our family of five. The four flights of stairs were no problem for our active family, however, might potentially be challenging for someone with mobility issues. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Stockholm. The trip was a dream. I hope we can return someday.

What an amazing trip! And it all started with finding this awesome apartment in Gamla Stan several months ago. The apartment is in the perfect location and we were able to walk (or ferry) to almost everything we wanted to do and see during our stay. Apartment was as described on VRBO, very clean and beautiful views! The neighborhood was so quiet and hearing the church bells throughout the day was so charming. And I can’t say enough how easy and pleasant it was working with our host, Hedvig! She communicated with us before, during and after our stay. For our first trip overseas we had some anxiety and a lot of questions. Hedvig provided us with all the basic information we needed in a very timely manner and on top of that she provided several useful guides which we used throughout our stay. She is a first class host! As described in the listing, the apartment is on the 4th floor in a very old building with no elevator/lift. So the spiral staircase is no joke. We were definitely out of breath when we got to the top each time but the apartment and views were worth it! :-) Highly recommend this apartment and host!! We are planning another trip back to Stockholm next year and we look forward to working with Hedvig again!
