Great service, clean room. We walked to a tour at the James J. Hill Mansion, dinner at La Grolla, and were walking distance to a wine store and a coffee shop. The Summit neighborhood is gorgeous and has lots of historic archecture. My partner and I stayed in the Library suite. We wanted to use the bathtub, but it couldn't fill past our ankles. We both had nightmares that night. I dreamt I was 9 years old and had long maggots stuck all over my skin. My partner dreamt that their brother died in a horrific car crash. Breakfast was delicious!

The rooms were very clean and had essential amenities in the bathrooms such as shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and towels. No hair dryer or iron. The breakfasts were delicious but the sausage was cold, as if it hadn’t been defrosted before being cooked. The host was friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating.

Absolutely stunning mansion with intricate hand carved wood everywhere and well preserved and cared for piece of history. The owner was kind and delightful and I was very comfortable here which says a lot as I am autistic with sensory issues. I did struggle for a moment in the evening with the police sirens but as this is out of the control of the owner I will not allow it to detract from how lovely my stay was. I would absolutely stay here again if and when I return to St. Paul.

If you are into old Victorian mansions that have been converted to a bed and breakfast this is your place. I am too shy to share a bathroom with other guests/strangers and so please be aware of the common bathroom.
