Blue Mist Hotel- Adults Only

Lovely! A quiet jewel just 10 minutes outside the Santa Teresa's main district. Great adults-only resort, terrific restaurant, lovely beach, great rooms, wonderful massage. The resort, rooms, beach club, beach, staff and experience are all top notch. Can't overstate how excellent the restaurant is, whether breakfast lunch or dinner. The pool may be the only slight knock - it's lovely and unique, but small and accessible to only a few villas. But we didn't actually care. The beach club, beach, Santa Teresa, and neighboring Montezuma were all charming enough to make this a great experience. You'll want / need a car if you stay here. Relying on open ATV would be bad - you'd be covered in dust from the 10-15 minutes of dirt road between Blue Mist and Santa Teresa. We rented a 4wd Bronco from Liberia, which made the 4 hour drive in regular mode and last 15 minutes of gravel rough road in 4wd no problem. Nearby: Nami (best sushi in town / 5 min from Blue Mist), Katana (best restaurant in town), Pronto (best italian in town), Umi (best night beachfront bar experience), Tipsy (best wine shop) Tour: From Blue Mist we booked a Montezuma Falls guided hiking trek with Grasshopper Tours. Make sure to get Ernesto - a truly lovely local who literally grew up hiking and playing in the falls before it was a tourist destination. A great guy! We booked a Zumi tour to Tortuga Island from Montezuma village. Tour good, snorkeling fine, Island was boring, but we loved the town of Montezuma!

Amazing Room, clean, the right temperature, filtered water dispenser, beautiful rain shower, snacks, coffee, organic top notch skin & hair care products, and the highlight of my trip a 5 star bed that is both firm and comfortable, never hot always the right amount of “sleepy cozy” temperature for you to climb into it and have a lovely night sleep or a quick nap. Did I mentioned the hotel is literally waterfront to the best side of Santa Teresa ??? Amazing beach club with great service awesome hamacks, beach beds & beach puffs. Delightful sunsets and great margaritas. Reasonably priced dream place.

This is a beautiful hotel right on the beach! The service is wonderful, the beach is relaxing, and it’s nice and quiet. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend! The only small caveat is that it’s a bit far from town (about 10 min drive), and once in town, taxis can be hard to come by. This is just an FYI, that you have to plan accordingly.

Estadía espectacular. Segunda vez que visitamos el hotel y lo disfrutamos mucho! El hotel muy limpio, el staff muy dispuesto a hacer de la estadía placentera... La habitación "pool side" es una excelente opción, pues todo queda a la mano. Santa Teresa además es una excelente opción gastronómica. Excelentes restaurantes cerca del hotel, pero a suficiente distancia para tener privacidad y calma en la propiedad. Volveremos pronto, excelentre escapada en pareja!
