Lovely hotel, very clean and quiet location. We arrived an hour earlier then check in with 2 younger children for our 1st trip to York and slightly disappointed to be charged £10 to go into our room earlier despite it being ready, we have never experienced this charge before. Our children received lovely little welcome packs which they were very happy with. The room was great and very roomy but very warm, we had to have the air conditioning on for our whole stay! Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Area was flooded very difficult to get to. Was informed on the morning of travel. We saw the email when we got to York. We would have rebooked, maybe that's why we weren't informed earlier?
