Have stayed here previously, so knew what to expect. Unit appliances and A/C are museum pieces, but all function properly. TVs finally upgraded to accept Roku. If you are a golfer, you are all set. If you want to put a kayak in one of the lakes and fish, forget about it. Rules posted everywhere and not all consistent. As a day-to-day renter, will not sell you a sticker to put kayak in water and are now aggressively policing it. Handout says you can fish with a PA license. Some signs say you can't unless property owner. Some signs say catch and release only. Others say 15" min for bass, but prefer catch and release. Will need to think about the yearly visits based on the water policies.

The upstairs amazing the bedrooms on the other hand was like stepping back in to the 70s old and dirty bed coverings sheets were all stained .. the shower still had soap in it ! Check in and out was horrible no one at office . Finding the house was a nightmare because we had no directions . When we did visit the pool and game area we were followed closely by a lady , like we were going to steal something so we just left !

Great value, comfortable stay. We had a living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths. Furnishing were a bit dated, but they were clean and comfortable. We first got to our unit at night and it was a bit hard to find the right one as most of the units numbers were not lit up and there was a bush in front of ours. The gym only had two treadmills and a bike, one machine resembling a bowflex in a very small area. Due to our short stay, the gym's hours did not allow us to be able to use it; would have like extended hours of us. The lady working at the gym area was extremely nice. Overall, would definitely return.

Absolutely terrible! Please take this place of your web site.It’s dirty, old, disgusting! You can’t ever communicate with anyone it is through an agency. Then I called multiple times to see if the pool was open and they finally answered and said yes but never told me it closes at 5 and you can’t check in until 4. I couldn’t even sleep.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet. Nice walks. Unit was spacious and well equipped. Main living room and kitchen updated. Second level bedrooms dated but clean and functional. Twin bed mattresses need to be replaced. Overall, positive experience and would book again

The unit was a bit dated (old refrigerator that was VERY loud when cycling, hard mattress, old bed spread), but clean and neat. It was a bit musty when we first got into the unit, but we bought a candle and room spray and that freshened it right up. There was a bundle of wood on the back deck (not sure if that was left from the previous guest or not?), but we made a fire in the fireplace on a soggy Saturday evening and enjoyed a nice evening in after a rainy day out touring the local area.

The area is beautiful . The property itself is shabby inside. The cabinets need replaced, the carpet is dirty . Pillows are awful . The condo is terrible to find at night homes are not marked by the road so you can easily see your number .

We got to the property after hours and could not find my name. We called and was told that we owed a security deposit. We were never told this. The confirmation email just gave me the passcode and said we would find our name. When we got to the gate, they gave us a hard time because we did not have a pass and said we should have received a pass in our packet. Again, the confirmation email just stated to go to the security and they would let us in. Once we got to the property it was ok. A little musty smelling. None of the TV's had remotes that worked in the living room. There were 2 TVs there which was confusing. The TV in the full size bed room didn't have anycable to it. There were cobwebs everywhere. The fan in the upstairs bathroom did not work. Overall our stay was ok. There needs to be more communication and clarity in the instructions for after hour check ins.

It was a town house from the 80’s. Met all our needs except a heating problem! Which they did fix. Smelled musty as it has been closed up for a bit, caused ruckus with my allergies.

The room was clean and everything worked. The problem was Silverwoods never answered their phone and was never in the office when I went there. I never knew if I had a room there or not. On the check-in packet they had used white-out to cover my and written another name over mine which caused much confusion to me The one time they answered the phone they instructed me to call Expedia for a answer to my question. My main concern is they do not give receipts which I need for my company. The whole situation with them was confusing, irritating and stressful.

This is an outdated condo with badly stained carpet. It is also a good 15 minutes off the interstate (the office where you pick up the key is less than a mile off the interstate, so it is deceptive). I slept in a twin bed as I felt the double mattress was old and saggy. That said, it was in a beautiful setting and it was wonderfully quiet. For the space, the price was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay in the lovely condo. Just a couple of glitches. We were told we were in one condo but given the keys for another condo. Called the office several times till we were able to talk to someone and get info corrected. A large piece of watermelon was accidentally left on the counter. It had been there awhile. Little messy on the counter but no problem. Just must have been forgotten. We enjoy staying here quite accommodating.

The address for the townhouse was not listed at it's actual location. The townhouses are actually a 20 minute drive through a gated community from the address provided. Since you are not a resident of this community, you are only permitted to use the main gate furthest away from the townhouses. Check-in and check-out was confusing since the office is only open from 9am-4pm. Unless you plan to vacation at the lake, I would not recommend staying here.

We received a notice that checking started at 4pm, but when we arrived we found that the office CLOSES at 4pm We didn't know what to do so we called customer service to walk us through it. We should have received instructions in advance. (Customer service was very nice) (2) Everyone's key is in the same lockbox with appt numbers on them. Which means everyone with access to the box has access to get (copy) everyone else's keys. In addition, I had to fill something out and put it back in the box - which means everyone with access to the box had access to that. Security was totally unacceptable!! (3) The condo is very cute but desperately needs remodeling, especially the bathrooms. Toilets remind me of what was in the grandmother's house - from the 1940's. (4) Twin beds both need to be replaced. I'm still dealing with pain from sleeping in one of them. (5) Everything looked very clean, but the whole place had an air of oldness and mustiness about it. We had also reserved a condo for our return trip. The beds were so bad, that we forfeited what we had paid to reserve a condo for the return trip and got hotel rooms. I'm still dealing with pain from sleeping in that bed. I've never given a low rating for anywhere that I stayed before.

We did not stay at the crownwood resorts and ended up having to book a Fairfield by marriot on our own as the after hours check-in process was insane. Not only is the name completely different from what was booked Crown Resorts at Treasure lake, not Silverwood, there was a previously unmentioned $150 deposit required before we could get our keys which were under someone else’s name. The location was not the same as provided and finding it in the dark proved impossible so we left. We had asked the person for help finding our room on the phone who “checked us in” but were told they have no actual knowledge of the properties and thus could not help. The upstairs amazing the bedrooms on the other hand was like stepping back in to the 70s old and dirty bed coverings sheets were all stained .. the shower still had soap in it ! Check in and out was horrible no one at office . Finding the house was a nightmare because we had no directions . When we did visit the pool and game area we were followed closely by a lady , like we were going to steal something so we just left !

We got to the property after hours and could not find my name. We called and was told that we owed a security deposit. We were never told this. The confirmation email just gave me the passcode and said we would find our name. When we got to the gate, they gave us a hard time because we did not have a pass and said we should have received a pass in our packet. Again, the confirmation email just stated to go to the security and they would let us in. Once we got to the property it was ok. A little musty smelling. None of the TV's had remotes that worked in the living room. There were 2 TVs there which was confusing. The TV in the full size bed room didn't have anycable to it. There were cobwebs everywhere. The fan in the upstairs bathroom did not work. Overall our stay was ok. There needs to be more communication and clarity in the instructions for after hour check ins.

Nice surprise Roomy condo. Newer carpet. Quiet area. Good price for two bedrooms Beds are a bit old and lumpy Need new mattress or toppers. Check in. Very friendly staff but room key can’t be picked up till 4 pm and front office closes at 5. Overall. Would stay again. As other local motels in this area are priced very high

The room was clean and everything worked. The problem was Silverwoods never answered their phone and was never in the office when I went there. I never knew if I had a room there or not. On the check-in packet they had used white-out to cover my and written another name over mine which caused much confusion to me The one time they answered the phone they instructed me to call Expedia for a answer to my question. My main concern is they do not give receipts which I need for my company. The whole situation with them was confusing, irritating and stressful.

The address for the townhouse was not listed at it's actual location. The townhouses are actually a 20 minute drive through a gated community from the address provided. Since you are not a resident of this community, you are only permitted to use the main gate furthest away from the townhouses. Check-in and check-out was confusing since the office is only open from 9am-4pm. Unless you plan to vacation at the lake, I would not recommend staying here.

Great value, comfortable stay. We had a living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths. Furnishing were a bit dated, but they were clean and comfortable. We first got to our unit at night and it was a bit hard to find the right one as most of the units numbers were not lit up and there was a bush in front of ours. The gym only had two treadmills and a bike, one machine resembling a bowflex in a very small area. Due to our short stay, the gym's hours did not allow us to be able to use it; would have like extended hours of us. The lady working at the gym area was extremely nice. Overall, would definitely return.

This is an outdated condo with badly stained carpet. It is also a good 15 minutes off the interstate (the office where you pick up the key is less than a mile off the interstate, so it is deceptive). I slept in a twin bed as I felt the double mattress was old and saggy. That said, it was in a beautiful setting and it was wonderfully quiet. For the space, the price was excellent.

The area is beautiful . The property itself is shabby inside. The cabinets need replaced, the carpet is dirty . Pillows are awful . The condo is terrible to find at night homes are not marked by the road so you can easily see your number .

Very clean, kitchen well stocked for cooking. A great back deck for grilling, and a second floor balcony off the two bedrooms. Two baths, one with a tub. Plenty of parking. Beautiful woodsy surroundings.

The beds were absolutely terrible. Couldn't get a good night's sleep. People were doing fires right outside that smoked everybody out. Overall. Just disappointed. Check-In was terrible. Expedia said that the check-in hours were till 5:00 on Friday, which is incorrect. It's 4:00 . Therefore, we could not get our key and had to contact the after-hour person(who was great)who talked to the host to try to get our keys which took over an hour to get that taken care of and then they would not let us stay an hour later. Plus you have to return the keys to drop off box by 10:00. Not be out of the place at 10:00 and it is 10 minutes away from the Dropbox by car. This was supposed to be a peaceful break which turned out to be extremely stressful. The nice part is that they did have free roaming deer that have babies which was nice to see.

The resort where these condo's are located is beautiful. The condo's themselves are are older and dated. They have everything you need but they really could use a some updating and TLC. I have stayed here many times over the years and enjoyed staying there but they really could use a little attention to keep people coming back.

I'd read reviews, hoped it wouldn't be that bad... Office rarely open, communication is cryptic and preregistration and check-in are archaic and frustrating. Area where lock box located is VERY poorly lit - needed flashlights. I'd not been sent lock box code so I texted the number posted. They replied with code, inside box was no packet with my name. I texted back inquiring, 'Please look for #XX, we do not put actual guest names on packets for security', I replied, there is no envelope with #XX, which alias did you use for me, how would I know that? They replied, with a different unit number. We located packet and sent pic highlighting new unit and asked if this was correct... No response, crickets! We found the unit, stayed the night - 6:53 am received a text explaining "this is not a 24 hr text line, normally only manned during business hours. Were you able to find the unit?" SHODDY operation. Next day we were texted, 'power outage expected, plan accordingly.' Temp was 50 degrees, we lost power at 9:01 am, power restoration expected 3-4 pm. Older neighbor knocked on our door, he had no clue, as no one had communicated. I inquired if they would provide wood for fireplace, nope, they were not able to provide ANY compensation, "it's like losing power at your home". They’re older units, nothing fancy, clean if desperate, but DO NOT STAY HERE! Units are far off main road and not convenient to get in/out of resort.

It was quite and loved the view out our balcony. Very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the beds felt like sleeping on boards.
